beware of traps and snares .. they not only catch thieves/crooks but also forgetfull stoned owners of said traps and snares..DONT ASK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..ha ha ..hook removal is second nature to me at this point

Another reason to beware is that they are mostly illegal. It's okay to set up traps that alert you with or without the thieves knowing but traps that can harm or kill a person can end up putting you in jail and/or on the losing end of a civil suit causing you to have to pay compensation to the thief or the thief's family if the trap was fatal.

Setting up traps isn't illegal,when I stuck rusty nails through the top of my fence and gate a pcso knocked on my door and asked me to take them down. When I asked her if it was illegal she said only when someone injures themselves on it. I told her if someone hurts themselves on it and I catch them they will have more injuries to worry about than a couple of nail holes in their hands. You would have to be awesomely stupid to fatally injure yourself on some nails or fish hooks. I told her I was not breaking any laws by placing the nails there and I wasn't taken them down and closed the door.

Well only when someone injures themselves, then it's illegal. Sounds pretty illegal to me it also doesn't specify it must be fatal to be illegal. I mean a trap that doesn't injure someone either went unsprung or sprung incorrectly.

So the latest is I was walking the dog at the back near the woods and fields. Im on my usual circuit and I notice this tiny little cannabis plant on the path in front of me. i look down and study it its deffo cannabis. So i look around to the side of the path and under the trees is a guerilla grow bout 10 plants, small plants id say bout 1.5 mnths old in terrible condition mostly shrivelled etc. What a dumb place to put a guerilla grow there always loads of deer running in and out there and right next to this path. So I think its a few kids who know fck all about growing and after realising how difficult it was to get a grow going decided to rob my plants which were in fine condition (if you dont mind me saying so myself)....bstads.....

Ph patrol: I have a devious and cunning plan. I reckon there is a slim chance that this grow and my theft could be related. i know its a long shot. What if they have my plants hidden in the middle of the woods somewhere? Now what if I was to spot some guys going to tend there guerilla grow on the path? What if they were then to walk off to water 'my plants' - bingo! I know its remote but im gonna keep an eye out its basically visible from my back garden (the path) ......

I would not be surprised if you did some additional walking you will find your plants.
You could just do an area in the morning and an area later in the day.

Yeah I agree,if they are that lazy to put a patch near a footpath rather than doing abit of hiking they are probably too lazy to have put your plants much further away. You have weeks to do a bit of exploration of the woods

Yeah thats what struck me how lazy that guerilla grow is. Ok not many people walk along there ( 2 or 3 dog walkers) its not a main path through the forest but still a shockingly bad place to put a grow (deer everywhere). Im gonna be doin a bit of hiking around makes no odds to me as i take the dog for long walks anyway. wonder if you could train your dog to find cannabis plants....

All my plants are stolen from the Greenhouse! I live in a village so I think it must be someone local. So depressing, bad thing is Im nervous to grow another set in case they get robbed aswell. Any advice? I know I could grow indoors but i prefer Greenhouse as its free sun etc. Cant believe it, what scumbags.

I am really sorry to hear that, I have been concerned about that too. People seem to find out and word can travel fast where I'm from. I hope for better times for you. dsj

I set out a tire trap one time, people were coming in at night and killing deer. I had a couple of guys show up with four ruined tires in the back of their truck, I let them know if I caught them in here they would be arrested. dsj

If you started one indoors now the weather would not make a difference, you could still get a crop. dsj
