This wont stop until you hunt them down and kill them. :bashhead:

If it is just a village maybe you will hear something. I sure as hell know what gossip can be like growing up in a small town.

Did they chop them or did they walk away with pots?
Because it is very early in the season for thieves to want take an immature plant and there to lazy to grow there own.
If some one on the street can smell or see the green house then the police can too.
This could just be a blessing even though it sucks. In door growing is a solution.
Just wait for cool fall weather if your stash can hold out.:)

Thieves generally come by 2 or 3 degrees of separation. Meaning its not your best friend its some one they told in passing that they felt were cool or OK.

Best wishes PH

They were under T5 16 April. Thats why I think they were amateurs cos surely youd rob plants in flower or at least bigger.
They took the pots aswell but thats to be expected i think.

Local job then, and they probably just put them into their own indoor grow. Some random ripper from out of town isn't likely to try to take the pot along with the plant. Likewise if you're just looking to steal someone's plants to get high you wouldn't bother with the pots.

Sorry to hear about you experiencing it and obviously you dont want to go through the energy to have it done again. Grow cameras next time maybe ? Traps ? You could get a bigger sentence for that though.

How much time was there left for the crop ? This could be useful info if they decide to come back to strike again. Because next timr you could maybe sleep next to your crop, armed or not, nonlethal weapons I guess.. I cant advise lethal..

Rippers are bad, it's a dangerous thing to do, stealing another mans/mens crop. I would be worried of leaving my life doing something like that or at least pieces of it.

I imagine it would feel good to make fertilizer out of the thieves if you catch them this time or next round but.. I couldn't advise you to do that.

Better thieves than cops..

Lef I know what you mean if I caught them god knows what I would do I have a temper thats for sure but im more of a peaceful hippie type tbh.
Yeah the grow was under T5 April 16 so theyd been in the greenhouse about 2 mnths they had been topped once they were growin well. Problem is im missing my plants (sounds silly) but I only now realise that you can get emotionally attached to them I mean I would visit the greenhouse just to look at them several times a day. Yesterday I was worrying about them like are they watering them properly etc...going mad I think...cheers alll:huggg:

I was thinkin of gettin a big light which comes on when someone walks past the sensor, but this would be pointed at the greenhouse so i was wondering if this would endanger the plants vis a vis confusing their light cycle etc?

Multiple motion detecting flood lights is a great way to bring some cheap security to your back yard.
If you can find green flood light bulbs use them inside your green house and regular bulbs cascading the surrounding area.
Mono fishing line with bells is a cheap way to trip a noise maker.
They make cheap battery motion detectors that make noise when triggered too.

Some ideas

ive heard of this sort of thing or even street lights doing damage and can turn things hermie or wig them out in other ways..

but if itll only turn on when someone goes by and theres no dogs so its not going to come on often at all could defently be worth the chance..

i think you maybe able to get ones where the sensor and lights are seperate.. so have the sensor facing greenhouse and lights facing somewhere where they would be noticed by yourself if turned on..

Look up drive way motion detector alarms. They come in three packs and signal you inside your house to a receiver. Some work in series and make noise and others are silent and just signal motion to your receiver that you would keep were you want.

There cheap too

Definitely vote for getting a dog or two! They can sense things that we try to rationalize as not a threat. Last night (4th of July) neighbor had a kitchen fire from faulty oven ignition....our dogs barked (@ 1 AM) and was thinking, ah, just more fireworks. And dismissed their barking - dumb on our part, as dogs were "telling us" something wasn't normal. It wasn't until 3 fire trucks were positioned and a knock on the door to alert us to the neighbor's fire that I was kicking myself for NOT 'listening' to our dogs alerting us.

Live now in the outskirts (country), but have 2 nearby mega beacon streetlights (halogen) that shine indirectly onto garden area. Have had similar situations throughout the years, bright halogen lights shine down...never had a hermie problem.

Motion light, dogs, wait a while then grow indoors (false closet/wall), etc.
