ez i'm glad to hear the stanley can handle 3 1000's. i'm planning on relocating after i harvest and hooking up 3 600's. i was hoping a stanley would be able to cool them all.

ALoc, The Stanley is "adequate" at best with the 3, 1k's.
I'm really pushing the Stanley's abilities with this 3rd light. You will have to experiment to see if it is enough for your situation.

I haven't noticed any one posting any of this info that I'm going to post

The power use of the stanley IS,

Low- 60watts/.48Amps

Med-68watts/.56Amps

High-78watts/.69Amps

these numbers where gotten by the use of a Kill-A-Watt electricity usage monitor.

*note* this was also with out anything else plugged into the blower fan.

Ok I'm building a cab that is 44inches long 68inches high 24inches wide. I will have a 420watt hps light in there. Will this Stanley blower exhaust and intake or would I need another fan to intake?

if you set it up correctly, it will exhaust and draw enough air for the intake. one of mine pulls through two cool tubes and exhausts into attic through a carbon filter. it has enough pull to cause a suction on the door and pull air through my intake into the flower room. this keeps my closet almost room temperature at all times. each case is different and if you exhaust into the room you will be pullin intake air from, it may get warm fast. try to exhaust into another room or attic space and temps should be fine.

How loud is it? Like say if I put this cab in my closet. Would I be able to here it in my room? The closet space is 6feet long (to the door) and 44inches wide. Would I need a fan that powerful to exhaust heat and exhaust a carbon filter? Or could I use a 300cfm like the person above has advertised?
Also to let yall know my hydro farm light hood only has one out take.
The hood has 2 vents on the top but I don't know if thats for ventilation. If yall want pics. I'll post em tomorrow.

Theres the light. If I exhaust the light and cab would I be able to push that exhaust hot air threw a carbon scrubber with that blower?

thats an ideal setup Maj, atm i push through my filter thats in the attic but yes, it is better to pull through it. great job man, may i ask your avg temps and is that closet air conditioned?
thanks!

hey buddy srry so long to respond no A/C for the closet i have acess to 8k btu portable a/c ducting would just need to put another hole in celing. currently my temps run 83-85 degrees with house set at 76 degrees thats 1 ft below the 1k light. where my thermostat hangs :) temps lower in canopy are cooler

Arcane i wouldnt know the decibal output on each speed theres 1 {low} 2 {med} 3 {high} i run on 3 and cant hear it outside my closet. my bubbler makes more noise lol unless i'm in the closet. when i ran the stanely on my 400w hps air cooled hood inside a C25 style wardrobe cab, my main house bathroom was on wall oposite side of my cab in closet. could bearly hear it through the wall

mine is more wind noise, you could add a silencer. there happens to be a diy silencer thread here somewhere.

I started with 4", but main air intake is a little bigger than 5".
Both of those pieces are 6". The front one was cut slightly (it was a register duct) so it fit snugly. I then hit all the pieces with gorilla glue. GGlue expands after it sets up, so the seal is almost air tight.

like i said, i use to use 4" ducting, but with the hole slightly larger than 5", but if your not using a size as big, or bigger than the opening, your not using the fan up to its abilities. Thats why i went with 6" If i hook back up my two 250w, which both have 4"ducting flanges, im going to attach 4"to6"adapters, to the flanges.

I actually have 5 of these fans. I use one to vent the hot air in the attic (not grow related, its just ****ing hot as ****), and one in my current grow. I had a couple cabinets, and i think i just bought the other just to be safe. :muahaha: I think its still in its box.

Who has more than 5 of these ****ers!
