Hiya finest kind, yup you guessed it; an iron deficiency, it also looks like you possibly got a calcium problem starting as well, see the spotting red dots on the leaves? That is calcium problem..... you should have tested the run off before doing anything to find out why you have this problem..... do you have just the promix and nothing else added to it?

No, I have Espoma Plant-Tone mixed in as well, as well as some Espoma bone meal... and 2TB per gallon Dolomite. And Mycorrhizae.

Seems to be doing fine now, no new signs of any deficiencies, maybe the Plant-Tone just had to break down some... although there are no micros in the Plant-Tone, well at least no iron and/or Ca.

How much bleach are you using in your res? Bleach imho mixed in like that is not good, because bleach is made with sodium hydroxide and sodium is the WORST for plants, not to mention the residue bleach can leave can cause problems with the plants..... it's not a good idea to use it....... when it breaks down it breaks down into salt water, the first ingredient it was used to start the whole process.

I used 2TB of bone meal (4-12-0) per gallon of soil... each plant is in a 10 gallon pot, so plenty big enough to finish in. They're actually not that big, as it is a pretty slow-growing Indica strain to begin with, and I may have started them indoors a little later than I should have.

But yes, the problem seems to have stopped for now... I will keep an eye on them... thanks for the help, as always!

I do not see pictures of your plants that got problem you speak of.....

What color are the roots?
If you had root rot problems it will show anything on the plant, damaged growth does not recover.....
is the water you are using now coming from that stream?
Just to be sure, you can get a water test kit that will tell you how much copper is in your water..... I can't tell ya anymore until I see pictures of the plant and roots.....
How long have you had this copper chiller?

As mentioned in the questionaire, I stopped feeding for 5 days before taking clones, soaked the plants in Hyponex bloom for 20 mins and then left for 6 hours before taking the clones, clones are doing fine and not showing any signs of the problems from the mother plants. The leaves are showing necrotic spots on the lower leaves and a lot of the lower leaves are turning yellow and dropping, in the last couple of days a few of the NL's are looking quite sick, the super skunk seem to be a bit better, top foliage looks quite healthy but it seems to be moving up the plants. I live in a country where the language is not English and this is a complete gorilla grow and my first one. These poor plants have been through hell but bless them they s eem to be able to recover from anything, well so far so good anyway. I really don't want to lose them now. I am feeding a 10 30 20 every 2 days at quarter strength, will this fix it and how long do they normaly take to get better?
