new pics. been spraying them with neem oil; i've got 8 no-pest strips in the garage; also been feeding 1tsp growbig / 1 tsp cal-mg (they got really hungry once they started recovering from the mites ^_^)

some of them are doing good, some not so well.. I may have lost another plant to the mites ;\

Personally - I'd sleep in the garage and grow in the bedroom if needed

That's either the worst mite infection I've ever seen or you have other issues - I'm betting temps and humidity to name butt 2. and watering issues. But you got them this far, some never do that well.

IF - you can get them running again - you will spend weeks in recovery - but the lessons you learn will be worth it - At least imo.
Grab a magnifer - are the mites dead?

Thanks, SolarT. It might come down to sleeping in the garage :bashhead:

temps are usually 78. got a 1000w a few days ago and I let the temp slip for a day (got too hot, underestimated the amount of heat it'd spew) but that's all fixed now.

SolarT, in your opinion, would it be better to scrap this grow and start afresh? I wanted to do this when we first got the mites, but the Mrs would not hear of it. In the typical "I told you so" fashion, now the option is on the table.

hmmmm...
i've got a total of 1800ws at my disposal -- actually, i think i may have convinced myself. Those plants are soooooooooooooo stunted, they're months old and look the same as when i got them. i'm sure it wouldn't take to long to catch up to them and surpass them if i started a new grow with 1800ws (compared to the 400w they'd been grown under).

what do you think, Solar?

78 ain't bad,, but letting a slip in can undoo months of hard work.

are them dam bugs dead?

You might get to harvest sooner if you restart - but it takes a better grower to recover from the brink than to grow healthy.

scuse mee - - you say, "they are about the same size as when you got them"! ??

huh??

this was somebody elses nightmare before you and you adopted it??

Normally I'd say stick it out and take the lessons - if you inherrited this,, might be better to start fresh - get good soil - good beans and eliminate 85% of your problems from the start.

About the lights - we need to get the plants to thrive before more lumens will help.

edit-
Do you have a "Hydro" or idnoor gardening store locally?
Someone that caters to indoor gardeners?

Got $100? - actually about $30-40 right now.

Go get a bag of Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil and a big bag of pearlite. That will fix half your problems in the future.

A ph Test pen will help a lot. (Check eBay - get a good one)
Probably some ph down - from the hydro shop or pet store.
(there's always something on the list)

i went FFOF / Perlite the first go 'round. good stuff imo, but it doesn't have enough cal-mg. i think i'll look up some recipes...i believe someone mentioned moonshine mix in one of mine threads

we're starting all over. the girls are gone.
gonna go from seed next go 'round (some time next week). im thinking.. G13/Hashplant, & Cinderella 99. and i've got a few beans tucked away in the fridge..Northern Lights, Rosebud Kush..

anyway, wish me luck folks. thanks for all your help. i've definitely learned a whole lot because of this whole ordeal, and I think the next grow will be much much better..

peace in the mid-east :joint:
