Thanks but its misplaced. All i do is try to understand more, but when it comes down to it, i need 40 yards of fucking dirt that works.

We're buds on here and I'm not being rude but you get paralysis by analysis a shit load. Look at how many halfwits make it growing weed "successfully" (success as in do pretty well financially from it I should say, which I suspect is your main driving force behind growing, like most of us). I delivered fertilizer to a guy on his first year, in 150 gal bags, got in mid June and still pulled a 4# average. And his soil had a shit load of coco in it.

You seem like a really smart guy, I wish I could retain information half as well as you, but you really have to work on your decision making.

Thank you oct. I definitely analyze the fuck out of everything. Ever seen a dog with a bone that wants to hide it but cant decide where the best spot is? Yea sometimes my brain feels like a pinball machine. But fuck what would i do different? An extra couple of days to dial in something so integral to my year doesnt seem like paralysis to me. Im not trying to be defensive, i just dont understand really. It sounds like from your perspective, growing weed is easy, and im overthinking it while halfwits are pulling it off. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it hasnt been that easy for me. Come show me how to grow weed like a halfwit lol. Dont get me wrong though, i do appreciate your feedback.

Snatch the pebble grasshopper. That personality will one day lead us to something new.

It feels like time...choose a path.

But...my opinion for you to think about only...I hate oly mountain, I would go another cf of peat and throw out the crap oly mountain...I would use 3 cf of sup r green instead. I worry about if you have enough EC to drive this grow.

But...it aint my grow. You are ready, step up and decide. And when it goes well come back and teach us.

Thanks jidoka. Or should i say Master Jidoka. I'm gettin all those meters btw. I told my buddy about them today and he says 'youre gonna drive yourself crazy this year' hahaha

I already made my soil order but its not gettin mixed for a week and a half so i could probably alter it before that. I'm ok with having to feed often. I also plan on having to test and amend. Hopefully in time for a may day planting.

Also working on some native soil. Ill have a handful of native filled pots. Just mixed up 3:1 clay:peat with 90g a gallon of gyp... For science :D

Need to find a tray of legit blue dream clones if anyone has a line on that, hit me up please. The clone guy i use doesnt have it anymore and everything on CL or BT is from hso or some bullshit. Sometimes they admit its not even BD.

so close to planting my dep, should have my soil test back by the end of the week, i used Logan cause i wanted to compare to my last test done in the fall. i will post my results when they come in. will enjoy sharing results and bias from all the spectrum fans.

Hazy is the 4-5 from a light supp greenhouse, or straight indoor?

You saw the test in the aea thread-- it was based on the components and results of last years soil.

It sounds bad how i worded that about Lead- i dont think hes fucking my soil up, i just wanted to frame it how you did. And i think he knows i like to get more perspectives on soil but that doesnt mean i dont trust his opinions.

Thank you for the encouragement hazy. Maybe thats what oct meant- i respect a lot of people on here and manyhave different ideas, so trying to listen to them all my head bounces around a lot.

I'm postive Oct only meant that attention to certain things can hinder the decision making process. With soil you don't have to get perfect ratios of everything to have good results.

5 lbs per light with Tahoe OG? I'm going to need to see pictures of that.

Grow alongside the Canna a few Tomato plants or Peppers etc, put in same soil, water same etc.... I bet you the Tomato & Pepper plants grow much better and easier AND with peace of mind.... and that is the key.....

The reason why, you don't care, or don't care nearly as much about them, and Peppers are much harder to grow ftr....

I see so often mistakes being made in pursuit of perfection or close to it and these mistakes are then followed by more trying to catch it (aka chasing one's tail).

I have given this exact advice to many people and near always things improve a lot for them. If it doesn't it's either a) because they suck and really shouldn't be growing anything or b) they can't get over trying for perfection or worrying or however you wish to characterize it...

PP, I am very confident you are not an A guy but a B guy, I'm a B guy too - I have every kind of plant growing here that shouldn't in a zone 5, citrus, figs, cactai, orchids and on and on.... I control my B and realize it's one of many weaknesses and try not to obsess, too much...

This is really the point I've been trying to make for you and took the time to write a lot before BC I was trying to help, truly....

Then there's the other things aside from soil to worry about too, such fun ;)

That is exactly what I meant orech. Plants your talking about meters and plant data and soil science. But also asking where you might be able to pick up some legit BD clones for a may day planting.....and it's almost April. You just really need to pick and choose your battles better and not get so fixated on the less important stuff. That's all I'm saying broski.

lol oct i feel you but dont be unfair, i saved this quote from you last year:

oct said:
If you can buy clones anytime, wait as long as possible. I don't even take cuttings until the second week of april.

i'm right on time :D. but actually i have been looking for a while for legit BD so i could keep a mother and cut them myself.. but no luck. wonderland nursery is booked until july hahaha. and my soil is late because somehow i lost 40 yards of it. i already got all the old stuff potted up... just had to scramble for the new stuff, but should be able to have it potted, tested, and amended if need be, by the 21st of Apr.
