Think he’s getting a little better.., still has sepsis but it’s being treated with antibiotic drip. Heart down to 88 resting but he’s on medication to keep it lower, diabetes not good either.
They think it’s ethyrodermic psoriasis which is incredibly dodgy for all of the organs so a specialist is coming to see.
They think if it had been one day longer before going to hospital he wouldn’t have made it so I’m glad we caught it in time.

He being kept dosed up with oxycodone for the pain at least.

Still on IV antibiotics and not eating well at all, heart medication is keeping the rate lower and skin is being treated with steroids so he’s looking a bit better on the surface… hands and feet still very swollen
I grabbed hold of the doctor today and explained my worries about the ethyrodermic psoriasis and how I know it can cause heart problems/diabetes etc and it was like they hadn’t considered it… they immediately took two vials of blood to look for markers
He’s now having to have insulin injected which is a first….

Good luck to your relative man...

Let me know if I can help.

I'm glad your youngest got to the fair!
Thank you mate… it really means a lot

Little Miss b had a lovely time, lots of fairground rides, ice cream and candy floss … she’s worried about the current situation too so we’ve been making sure she still gets plenty of fun and swimming a couple of times a week to take her mind off it
I feel like I’ve been doing triple shifts this last week 🤣

I just took a cross-country tour for a festival and meet up with friends that I consider family.

We were spent after the festival so I took it upon myself to make our rendition of candy floss (yanks call it cotton candy) because a recent birthday had demanded that type of machine.

The previously lethargic company burst into life!!

I'm glad that you saw that power half a world away simultaneously!!

Much love to you and yours forever!!

Autoimmune issues are the worst. Knowing it's your own system attacking you, destroying your life , there's no one to get angry with. I've had sepsis several times, yeah not fun. Doctors in this country are crap, broken bone, great, autoimmune issues, oo let's try a bunch of things. When they run out of things to try, they pass you to the next doctor who tries the same things again. Doctors piss me off. Sorry for the rant, just brought back memories, sorry about your mates condition, if I had advice I'd offer it.

I got given a load of pallets for my autumn bonfire collection yesterday.. was told it was 3 or 4 yet I got home to find approximately 25 of them stacked up 😱
I’m thinking of maybe using some of them to make some decking in the garden 🤔
check them closely. i've found some very pretty walnut planks some dimwit made a skid out of before... to a certain type of person, wood is wood. :dunno:
