The yacht thing is a little suspicious 🤨 just about got away with massive fraud then dies on the same day his business partner dies in an unrelated accident….. yeah…
Your not wrong MrB,,
whole thing stinks,,,
like ya mentioned his partner in the court case died (???) whilst on his usual morning run iirc and they got off paying multi millions so it’s not a stretch to think somebody was mightily pissed off to find out they were not getting a penny and decided revenge was the best course of action,,
hopefully it all comes out and those involved are held to account but I doubt it,,,,,

Seems it was hewlett-packard they were accused of defrauding- originally it was said they had a less than 1% chance of getting off… then they got acquitted.
Then one gets hit by a car and the other gets sunk on a massive yacht by a freak waterspout.
Nothing to see here…

Nice sunny day today… got some strong wind and rain tomorrow so I’m making the most of it.
Was awake at 4:30 this morning (flu type virus again- sent home from school no doubt) so I went outside for a joint with Mrs b and suddenly the dog (jack Russell) went flying off down the garden into the dark, as he often does.
Seconds later a furry blur shot past the shed door followed closely by the dog, but it seemed whatever it was escaped over the fence.
However, the little man 🐶 was still not happy and jumped on the wall and under the stack of pallets where all hell broke loose- barking, yelping and growling- I assumed it was a cat hiding, so I eventually managed to call him off and get him indoors but he wouldn’t calm down.
He got a scratch to the eyebrow and one on the snout so there was some blood to wipe off.

We went back out for another joint as the buzz had been harshened (left the dog indoors) and checked under the pallets… it was a bloody great fox much bigger than the dog!
Didn’t let dog out again until this morning, but the fox was luckily gone by then.

What a night 🌙

there´s a wonderful Walt Disney film about this type of story. You should sit little Jackie in front of the telly to watch it some time :shucks:

We have a skunk that seems to wander through our backyard nightly. I have noticed lawn divots recently from when they dig for grubs and the last two nights the dog has lit up barking at something in the backyard - which I confirmed as a skunk last night. And that is why I always look carefully before I let the dog out at night . . .

got lucky in that it missed his head/face, poor bastard

Our Sheltie wasn't so lucky. He got it in the face . . . and the head is so hard to wash the smell off. I could still smell skunk months later - whenever he got wet. I don't know if he would still run at a skunk but he certainly barks when he sees one. Squirrels, likewise. Rabbits and possums he strangely ignores. He sees them but he will just go to a different part of the yard to do his business.

***Rant Warning ***

What a day
Mrs B has been on the edge with her depression the past few days
- doesn’t need any particular situation to set it off just the brain chemicals doing their thing.

She was due to have her counselling session this morning but felt unable to leave the house, so she asked by text if the session could be done on videocall (as it is sometimes) but got back a rude response basically saying no and their contract says appointments should be face to face.

That pushed mrs B over that edge.

Long story short, I had to basically hold her down to stop her punching herself in the face and pulling her hair out, get some Valium into her under protest and calm things down as best I could.
It doesn’t happen that often but it does happen- it’s a major strain on the brain… I sometimes have to hold my daughter down like this, (minus the Valium) and it can be hard work… I feel shattered but unable to sleep.

Currently trying to get stoned on the last bits of the early harvested gorilla cake, and it’s not working… taking the edge off but that’s it.

Maybe I’ll see if there’s many Valium left 🤦🏻‍♂️

Mrs B is lucky to have you to get her through it. I balance my wife the same way - although she is not as severe. She woke me up at 2 am the other night and told me that she thought she was having a heart attack and she needed to go to the hospital. It wasn't and we didn't. It was anxiety and I talked her out of it. She has a family-size bucket of diazepam to dip into . . .

At least we are good for something around the house . . . ;)

Thanks mate.
The quacks here are quite restrictive on the diazepam and only give her a set number each month, but luckily she doesn’t need it everyday so I make sure her prescription is filled on time … that allows me to make sure she has some reserves 👍

Thank you. At this moment she is cured. Immunotherapy plus two rounds of chemo with surgery in the middle. It has been a rough spell the last year but you have to keep clawing your way forward, y'know.

And then . . . I just had an MRI for my back Sunday and the doc told me that my L4-L5 stenosis is OK . . . but now I have "severe spinal canal stenosis" in L2-L3. I guess that explains my walking/standing problem. And joy oh joy, the wait for a spinal surgeon could be up to a year because my 'usual' spine surgeon (X2 ops) has retired. Socialized medicine at its best!

And that folks is why I smoke a shitload of drugs. :rasta:

It’s my birthday 🎂 today 🥳
Another year older I guess…. Mrs B and little miss B brought me presents in bed this morning so I’m very lucky 🍀
Also the clocks went back in the night so I have an extra hour… a 25 hour birthday.

Longest birthday I had was my 30th, we flew to New York which is 6 hours behind uk so I had a 30 hour one that year 😂

Hope everyone is well :tiphat:
