Your not wrong MrB,,The yacht thing is a little suspicious just about got away with massive fraud then dies on the same day his business partner dies in an unrelated accident….. yeah…
Seems it was hewlett-packard they were accused of defrauding- originally it was said they had a less than 1% chance of getting off… then they got acquitted.Your not wrong MrB,,
whole thing stinks,,,
like ya mentioned his partner in the court case died (???) whilst on his usual morning run iirc and they got off paying multi millions so it’s not a stretch to think somebody was mightily pissed off to find out they were not getting a penny and decided revenge was the best course of action,,
hopefully it all comes out and those involved are held to account but I doubt it,,,,,
there´s a wonderful Walt Disney film about this type of story. You should sit little Jackie in front of the telly to watch it some timeNice sunny day today… got some strong wind and rain tomorrow so I’m making the most of it.
Was awake at 4:30 this morning (flu type virus again- sent home from school no doubt) so I went outside for a joint with Mrs b and suddenly the dog (jack Russell) went flying off down the garden into the dark, as he often does.
Seconds later a furry blur shot past the shed door followed closely by the dog, but it seemed whatever it was escaped over the fence.
However, the little man was still not happy and jumped on the wall and under the stack of pallets where all hell broke loose- barking, yelping and growling- I assumed it was a cat hiding, so I eventually managed to call him off and get him indoors but he wouldn’t calm down.
He got a scratch to the eyebrow and one on the snout so there was some blood to wipe off.
We went back out for another joint as the buzz had been harshened (left the dog indoors) and checked under the pallets… it was a bloody great fox much bigger than the dog!
Didn’t let dog out again until this morning, but the fox was luckily gone by then.
What a night
Even at 12.5 years old, he wouldn’t sit still long enough for a YouTube short …. Unless there’s treats involvedthere´s a wonderful Walt Disney film about this type of story. You should sit little Jackie in front of the telly to watch it some time

After seeing soup for cats in the shops, anything is possible
my giant schnauzer mistook a spotted skunk in the yard one night for one of our cats. just trotted right up to it. got lucky in that it missed his head/face, poor bastard... he was miserable on the carport in his kennel box...And that is why I always look carefully before I let the dog out at night .

Thanks mate.Mrs B is lucky to have you to get her through it. I balance my wife the same way - although she is not as severe. She woke me up at 2 am the other night and told me that she thought she was having a heart attack and she needed to go to the hospital. It wasn't and we didn't. It was anxiety and I talked her out of it. She has a family-size bucket of diazepam to dip into . . .
At least we are good for something around the house . . .
The quacks here are quite restrictive on the diazepam and only give her a set number each month
Sorry to hear that mate, it’s a lot to deal with…. Give her my bestIt was the same here and she has hoarded them for years taking 1/2 here and a 1/4 there etc. That all changed when she was diagnosed with cancer and she pleaded with our doc. He scripted 100 and it is a repeatable script . . .
