someone once told me you can count your true mates on one hand. I agree!

love the beatnuts . great choice . many associates are charming , funny , etc , but just are different . they worship materialism and value things differently to the few , and are trained to compete rather than build . in times of need , usually it is a stranger that comes to the rescue so its worth treating everyone well , even if they are psychopathic

View attachment 18967450
two tins of sardines €1,98
500ml pureed tomatoes €0,69
generous dash of olive oil € no i idea
2 capsules fish oil € 0,38
total € 3,05

a whoopin 19 grams of sugar from the tomatoes that i should have expected although there is no sugar added...
Cheap and nourishing, ticks all the boxes for a healthy work feed.

I worked with a fella that would eat a tin of squid, kippers, sardines ect everyday for his lunch.
He was still climbing trees at a high level and dancing like a tango god in his late 50’s!

My mrs is from a massive Finnish family, they love anything fish and pickled of any kind on a rye cracker haha.
Not glamorous food but delicious none the less.

i say it totally depends on the brand of sardines. very different aromas too.
i can leave my empty tins in an open trashcan for several days at my workplace. no offensive smells at all, i'd notice every morning.

mackerels on the other hand... intense smell from all brands ive tried.

i just buy the ones that come in oil only, wether sunflower or olive. sunflower ones are drastically cheaper.
i just pour out the oil into the sink and add my own olive oil to the bowl.

i had lunch at least 6 hours ago and still not hungry, and feeling fresh too, just finished work for today.
