Four bricks. a piece of sheet metal, and some dabs of silicone

when the silicone fails , and the wind picks up ,the sheet of metal decapitates someone haha . i think cement in a ridge tile. keeps it vented and cheap , the water has to dry out , so vented is a must

Some kind of removable system, nuts and bolts like would be cool, could get it off if you want to let the chimneysweep in. Cemented tiles come off tooI sppose though just hit em with a sledge hammer-

i will re point the chimney stack , and etch and cement n a ridge tile. or go drive and pick up a vented topped terracota job ... but i don't think that is needed. just a ridge tile goingrey son
