What exactly is a "Trapezes"? I'm hoping to start setting up in my warehouse soon but not sure how to go about hanging the lights and ballasts(going to be using Gavita's) Building has high ceilings so trying to figure out something that has flexibility of light/ballast placements but doesn't involve me climbing a ladder to the ceiling every time.

What about industrial cable trays? They can be as solid as you want.

I use them in my house for hanging my lights. I like the industrial look and I can change my lights/location of lights real easy and without damaging anything...

Thx for the tip sureshot. I do actually plan on going with Gavitas myself but can't help but feeling like I would want some movement options until I get things fully dialled in. Your set up looks great though, nice work.

Mount a row of gavitas to a unistrut, rigged to a pulley system!

Get a greenhouse and quit wasting electricity, use the sun as much as you can!!!
Once really legal, warehouse grown Cannabis will be as common as warehouse grown wine grapes, do you see a lot? Ever seen any? Why is that?

thats because grapes are:
-perennial vine
-need deep soil to support their root system
-require dormancy period

a better analogy would be tomatoes...

Sureshot- can you elaborate on your antistretch?

sure, well for 1 the intesnity of gavitas reduces stretch, if i need more stretch i clean out the undersides of the plants early weeks 1-2 and they really take off, if i want to reduce ill wait until weeks 3-4 to clean em out..10ml per gallon of silica also helps reduce it, and cooler temps, below 80...my last resort if needed is weaving tops, thats not really reducing strtetch but its limiting the height..i grow in coco beds and my plants in beds get way bigger and wider than when i do pots, beds i can yield 3 per light, pots around 2, same strain, nutes, lights etc.

I whole heartedly agree Sam. But the issue right now is the laws. So many of these new states that are coming online now are really misguided in how they approach this particular part of legislation.
Currently,
I am looking at Hawaii's new production laws. And if I am reading them correctly, everything must be inside. No greenhouses, no field production. And on the big island, which has the highest tiered electricity rates in the country this is just plain silly. I'm expecting big bills in the future.

Some operators in Denver are beginning to see the light, but for many they are just now willing to place that upfront cost in their budgets. Hell to get folks to start installing floating benches has been like pulling teeth.
Nothing beats sun grown. IMO.

Hey Sureshot66 if you get back by here can you answer me a solid. What is your spacing on the Gavitas? I tried emailing them and I'm even more confused now than ever.. lol

i run 4x16, 2 4x8s get 3 gavirtas one at dead center, 2 at 2ft off both ends

Thanks Sureshot, not sure why Gavita cant just give a simple answer. I understand they want to light the room, and I understand why..... But its not like I can go wall to wall plants with no room to work. Cost of electricity alone is all the reason I need to not be lighting up the isle ways and dead spaces. Seems your set up is almost opposite of what they recommended to me, they wanted the bulbs running parallel to the rows with the lights very close together. Just doesn't make sense to me in that the tables are only 4 ft wide, again just lighting up the isles... Speaking of which what is your isle spacing? I imagine everything is on wheels and what not. Are the 3 Gavitas yielding the same as it would have with 4 1K HPS's? Thank you for the inspiration.

My aisles are 18-20 not too wide but wide enough so I can work fairly comfortably even with that they get pretty good side lighting I'm going to run side trellis this round...the 3 gravitas yield what 4 how's would imo I'm drying now I'll know more when I have a total

So then light spacing between isles is 66" to 68" ish? Awesome set up bro, hope you slay it!!
