Have you smoked any dried buds of that La Bekaa valley strain? If you have, I would love to hear about tastes/aromas/high etc.. ok Raco?

Im quite satisfied to the yield of this particular plant, but I think I pollinated it too early, so it did tax the yield quite a bit, but it was the only option because of the herming OH x SK#1. Another thing that did affect was the low quality of the purps pollen she received. That pollen just didnt make it´s job properly, so the plant is full of tiny white seeds I have only "harvested" 5 mature seeds, but they are looking quite elite! At least in my opinion...

It´s friday and most of the people dont have to work/go to school at weekend, so Herbalistic suggest, that everyone relax and enjoy of the herb as loved one´s also. At least I know I am going to do that!!!

Hi all,
This is my first grow.
Indoor wardrobe Thia bagseed grow. I vegged for nine weeks and have been flowering for 16 weeks now.

Suggestions needed.

I had to scrog the top of the plant with chicken wire to stop her getting in the lights.
12/12 was just too long for her and she is now at 9 1/2 / 14 1/2 and seems to like this better.
The buds have fattened up well in the last 3 weeks.
All the pistils are still milky white and buds and leaves have trich hairs.
The lower pop corn buds are nearly done being quite small because of the size of the uper canopy.
about at 50% brown fluffy hairs on the lower buds.
Should I chop the lower buds off or leave them to develope more.

From seeing pics in this thread I am guessing I have a long way to go.

I am going to pull up my own chair an fill a bong or two and see where this lady is going to take me.
From of what I can see in other pics in this thread my plant is only about a quater into her flowering cycle and will take a long time as of yet.

I had a chance to smoke the first little cut off the World of Seeds Kilimanjaro I posted earlier, and it's definitely a keeper, and definitely a sativa. Good, up clean high, very clear and easy to function while still buzzing. Good pain relief too. Reminds me a lot of weed I used to smoke 30 years ago, quite different from the more recent hybrids. Looks like about another 2 weeks before the main harvest, but cut a few buds just to be sure to get something, always a risk with outdoor plants.

Anybody know the dark period triggering time for Thai in general? Since it's from near the equator I'm assuming it's going to need around 12 hours of dark to start flowering, which won't happen here until Sept. 22 or so (45 North). My two thais look like they're in preflower, lots of little side branches growing like crazy, but still not starting to throw out any pistils.

I'm not as experienced with sat's (tho I LOVE their effect! ) as some of the other folks here, but from my own experience at my lat (52 N), most landrace sat's will not start till very late.

I think that the greenhouse roof will come very handy!

This a Panama (from CBG) that I got at the moment,and hope to be able to finish under a window. No sign of sex so far.

However, if you have flowered them for 16 weeks and they are in that stage, I would suppose there is some problem or you got your hands on authentic thai!

Are you sure, that you darkness period is complettely dark? These equatorial strains really need as dark as you can offer in the lightsoff cycle! If not receiving that, they will start to hermie and they dont flower correctly, just like yours.

Your current lightcycle sounds very good and I think you got nice results when using it.

I would say you are looking at least 8 more weeks to finish that baby, maybe even couple + weeks more.

Anyway´s, good luck with her. Do you have any males btw/anuymore of these same seeds? Are you planning to reproduce some seeds and do small time preservation?

If you want more info considering thai strains, I would suggest you contact member named Dubi. He has growed many thai strains, as many equatorial varieties too, so he can definitely help you in this subject!

Here´s couple pic´s my B-52. These pics are 10 days after putting her into 11.5/12.5 cycle. Today it´s 12 days after chancing the cycle and I can see she is starting to flower:



And btw, my miniature Durban Poison x Lowryder has heritaged it´s budstucture from LR, but the resin it pumps is smallsativaresin, so all this indicates sativabased high I cannot wait to sample her. I can upload some pics in next week!

As to the dark period, there is no light leaks in my double wardrobe.

The seed came from high grade Thai weed press block I purchased in London last year.
It was some serious serious smoke bro'.
Racey, trippy, very energetic, hallucintatory, high!
No body buzz.
Just heaven ;')~~~

6 bongs and I thought I done a tab of SID.

I have twenty seeds of the same.

But the germination is very poor due to the seeds being crushed somewhat when the weed was pressed.

I do believe in my small knowledge of weeds this to be Thai.

I asked for Thai weed at purchase and what I got smashed me into orbit for sure.

I can not contact another member here as I have not posted 50 posts.

I would like to know of the smaller lower buds.

They really look like they are finishing.

No males, but I do have four raggy clones that just seems to keep going no matter what.

If I had grown this plant outside it would have reached 15 foot very easily.

I only switched the lights from 12/12 too 10/14 slowley over the last 4 weeks.
Now down to 9 1/2 / 14 1/2.
I believe she took so long because I left her at 12/12 for too long and she although flowering kept vegging.
I have had to train her like some crazy roller coaster track.
The buds seen in the last pic came through in the last three weeks.

I looked this morning an the pistils are turning amber and a few ahve gone red fluffy.

If I had got the light cycle correct and not be new to this I no doubt would have done a better job at it all.

She is begining to smell extreemly sweet, fruity and very very sticky clean high.

Got loads of trich hairs forming on the new growth.

The plant seems to go through spurts of 2-3 weeks growing then dormant for the same and then another rush of flower growth.

I never grown before so I am extreemly pleased with the jungle in my wardrobe.

I have kept some sun leaves in my scrap book and als o photoed the leaves for identification.
I will stick the leaf prints up soon.

It would be good to see of what strain she really is.

@motumba. damn thats a long time to flower with no nugs. what kinda fert regimen did they go into flower with and what have you been feedin them with now?

It's possible high N levels have been preventing it from flowering properly. I have more about this in the Ultimate Sativa Grow thread.

I had a roblem with the light./s I starte the lant on the widow sill and in the wardrobe and in the garden. 9 weeks. Then I bought a decent enviro grow lamp cfl 125watt red/orange. For 6 weeks and then I added a blue/white 125watt enviro cfl.

At 2 1/2 weeks flowering the lightswhere at 12/12. up until 4-5 weeks ago.

The plant is in soil and worm casings from my garden.

Wood chips and small pebbles.
N/P to start.
Not much.
No N after starting flowering.

Bat shit and river sand mix.

Worm casings.

The stems started to turn red an the upper stems just kept straggling towards and in the lights.

I fed it some N an cut the lights to 10/14 and top hatted the lant and tied it down for the third time and placed chicken wire utop.

Then bio-bloom.

Other than pre-flowes the plant has only been producing tight buds and white pistils/trich hairs for three weeks now into four.

So being a newby at indoor growing I cocked all this up.

The lower buds are very small about the lenght of my top section thumb joint.

They look to be nearly finished.

The buds are straggly an have little white pistils left.

I am thinking to cut these off.

The plant now seems to be very happy.
The buds are now forming in tight nodes about 1/4 inch aart and it has stopped encrouching into the lights.

I now am feeding bio-bloom.
Have stoppe giving any N.

Onlty what is in the bio-bloom.

Should I flush the roots with clean water and then get the correct nutes in or am I OK with the bio-bloom I am using.

Questions questions.
But I wish to succeed.
This lant has most awesome potential.

It was the way it smoked that gave me the inspiration to grow it.

Now you know the icture of my dumb attempt at growing this plant.

Where do I go from here bro'

hmmn. I don't know what to say. I hope she'll finish for ya.

if you're only using flower ferts it should be okay. It should be something similiar to 1.5-4-5 I hope your light is enough sometimes tropical sats don't do good indoors even under intense light. I've seen plants under old style fluro tubes that wouldn't flower.But Rahan used to grow alot of sativas with fluro's without a problem.

be honest with you I'm used to shorter flowering sativas than that.

I really couldn't tell you though. good luck.

I know doubt messed it all up.
But the lower buds that have matured smike reasonably well.
Very wispy buds, but a good high buzz.

I know doubt gave too much N when the stems turned red an had the lights wrong.

Going to go with 9 1/2 14/1/2 and see where she goes. I have four more so no bad it is all a learning curve.

I am going to flush the roots with water for one week an then go back to flower nutes only.

I have some genetics from paradise seeds for my next experiment.
If this plant does not come to much at least I learnt how to grow one.
And next time I shouldn't be so dumb.

Oh, well I was just wondering because I harvested this Sativa bag seed of mine and I really don't get the munchies unless I smoke large amounts, and even then I only can eat until I'm full. But with the Indica plant I harvested, it was like I actually just wanted to eat just to be eating even though I was already full. I just constantly ate. It was so good lol. Really I come from a town where no one knows SHIT about weed and all I ever smoked was shitty mids and on special occasions good shit. That's what devoted me so bad (other than it opening my eyes to its wonders) to be different and learn so much about weed and be a weed farmer. And honestly to this point I've never known what strain I smoked and this grow was my first and it was my first time actually being able to notice the differences in Indica and Sativa strains. Saved a seed from some really good couchlock stuff and then another one from a random seed out of 200+ lol. So besides this I don't think I've smoked any worthy Sativa's so I thought most of them weren't prone to giving munchies. I dunno.
