Hola Siever, I haven't grown Double Jam, 1985 Jamaican Blue Mountain, or the 1960 Jamaican Lambsbread, so I'm no help with Double Jam. I read that 1985 Jamaican Blue Mountain was a mellow, meditative high.
I started with 2nd generation ColJam ~ 75% Colombian Gold and selected the Colombian Gold phenotypes from second generation, you should get a trippy, clean, cerebral high, close to how I remember early 1970's Colombian Gold.
In the young plants shown I selected, three phenotypes, Colombian Gold, 1-finger / 3 finger phenotype, and a Jamaican Lambsbread phenotype. These three phenotypes should provide the full range of highs from ColJam.
Hey idiit, Perhaps due to my grow set up but I harvest Haze/ NLD/ long flowering sativas, 3 - 4 weeks after other growers. In general the high from Highland Colombians will be more trippy / psycedelic harvested with 5% - 10% amber. The famous Colombian Gold was blanched / light cured on the plant. I wouldn't recommend that.
Long flowering sativas grow in cycles. I harvest long flowering sativas from the bottom up. Colombians that don't provide a trippy other worldly high, could be compared to haze hybrids, like Neville's Haze, Mango Haze and so on..............
10% Amber will make the high denser, longer lasting, and more complex. Clear/ cloudy resin at harvest will have a cleaner and more energetic high.
10% amber on the tops of a Colombian, means 40% amber at the bottom flowers. More often than not the lower flowers are faded ready to harvest and the tops have white pistils and new growth.

I prefer to harvest as soon as growth stops and calyxes are fully swollen. It's at this point that I generally find terpene content highest. For the longest flowering varieties, I think it helps to finish with a proper nitrogen fade to give a fully consistent product, otherwise you risk immature tops to your flowers (gross) or overdone lower calyxes (degraded terpenes + cannabinoids). When properly finished in my eyes, the preflower calyxes will be amber and faded in color, but the other 99% will be in a lively, mature state--meaning cloudy, plump resins with plenty of smell.
Just what I prefer.

Extremely THC potent, with a soaring sativa high. Banana, grape and pineapple bouquet. Flavorful: hash and candied pineapple all the way.
This is a vigorous plant with a moderate yield of dense, greasy, running colas.
As medicine I don't like it as well. Some patients enjoy it for the sheer potency but many others find it overwhelming and highly dependent on set and setting. For me personally, it's a little too racy. The Kali Mist and Cindy really come through in this hybrid. Great work, but I prefer my sativas a little more euphoric. Currently I am testing hybrids with "mellower" sativas and a CBD-rich variety to see if I can harness the raw potency of this beauty while lending the progeny a better-rounded high

Recommended for sativa lovers who enjoy that Blast Off sort of high. An aptly named Goddess

When it comes to harvesting sativas it's a personal taste thing and very dependent on the plant being grown. Some girls do better being slightly over cooked while others are considerably better when taken a little early, the only real way to know is to grow a plant out a few times and try to dial her in to your tastes. There's nothing mystical or special to be done (though lollopopping does reduce the maturing from the bottom up by removing that growth) it's all just about having experience with your chosen girl and getting her to your version of perfection.

Ace Purple Haze early in flower.
I popped five seeds and I got four males and one female. oh well!
So i'm going to let the four males tag team the one P-haze female and I also threw in my original haze mother in there too.
Anyone have this weird leaf with Ace purple haze????
There's a few of them but most are normal.
