Pearl Destroyer "Thai" S1 x New Caledonia "Thai"

Cut was taken from plant flowering outdoors, rooted and transferred indoors. Did not expect it to grow out so much from that stage, very vigorous plant with weird structure. Incredible smell, very unique combination of terps like wild Asian mangos, juicy fruits, citrus, roses, vanilla and hint of cinnamon. Considering the bud structure of the motherp, this is quite the improvement

also, this plant makes huge seeds, here is a comparison to Original Haze
View attachment 19123096

I take this as a trait denominator that indicates Thai dominance compared to what the Colombian seeds show a predominantly small seed even in crosses.

I had same outcome crossing a SEA to multiple varieties Thai, Colombian, and haze hybrids.

Thai seeds are huge and Colombian seeds are small.

Destroyer x new caledonia done at 15 weeks.Could give one more for a couple heads but most plant is definitely ready and I didn't want it to get too amber.
What a beauty, I can see she got the calyxes from Destroyer and bud structure from Caledonia, now it looks like Oaxaca79 haha. I can imagine she smells heavenly...Hope she smokes as well as she looks :pimp3: enjoy!

PS: good call on the harvest, I also like more zippy effect that way and just harvested my Destroyer x NC today with a lot of fresh hairs too.

Absolutely, the seeds coming from the pearl Destroyer are already large, but these are twice as big and with this "prehistoric" look to it, possibly confirming the Thai genetics of this New Caledonia male.
New Caledonia IMO definitely have some SE Asian genetics in them (perhaps even majority of it is SE Asian based), I wouldn't be so sure to say which country but they have terps from that region for certain, seeds are similar too......

Isn't lineage of Destroyer from SE Asia too, at least in part, I forget off top my head..?

@ledo have you grown And/Or smoked the destroyer?
yes - made a sick cross with it to the 99/2000 Sour D x Destroyer long time ago. among other things, been awhile since I've grown it though, I never got the pearl pheno though like some of the lucky others..... bummers in that regard

********************

another thing that is telltale SE Asian outside the seeds, crocodile leafs, terps.... the calyx/bracts are huge and extremely elongated

here's a Guat x Cambodian/Laos early in flower

Definitley got that I'm gonna be pulling back the curtains vibe to her huh..... haha, not for everyone but for some of us the only ones, no sedation at all, none.... but accumulative so watch out, hours, days, weeks, when nothing else is consumed it just keeps elevating you, but eventually you noid out & crash, balance is good ....

this is a thai/A5 at 14 weeks..had a nice smell and growth was not bad for height.. didn't keep her as you just can't keep em all..still have a pack to go thru but it won't be this season.. this one leaned to the A5 for smoke and thai for growth..she went 109 days or 15+ weeks

Greetings,

These are some plants I've been working with for a very long time, some 45 years. These have been linebred for 4 generations. It all started with Purple Asian. A few of the previous most recent out-crosses were Trainwreck, VISC Burmese, and Bangi Haze. Many thanks to the stablized line breeders, those that developed Burmese, and those that worked with Bangi Haze, the most recent being ACE Seeds. Both are highly recommended.
