That's the problem though. For you to need multiple packs for a sativa pheno in a variety touted as being a pure heirloom sativa; well its hard to fall for the bs. I enjoyed the aromas; but, I didn't pay 8 dollars a seed for something less than advertised. Back in the day I grew their utopia haze and got 6 amazing plants. Amazing in their diversity and their quality. I'm afraid to buy a pack now.

Dr Grinspoon may be an "heirloom" but available information is that it's a complex hybrid of Oaxacan, Thai & Panama Red.

I've never grown it but from what I can tell it's unstable & throws a lot of different phenos. Some strains are like that.

yes these ladies are all fully seeded.
I had mutable males going. I weeded out the little males and any ones that look too indica.

also this is a whorled leaf male I thought was cool too. I would have to say that it has some Hawaiian genetics in there because that's the only type of plant I have that do this.

I have grown it and it's actually pretty stable. All the plants look very similar; although, there is variation in the terpenes. If by complex hybrid of oaxacan, thai and panama red; they mean it contains very little, I believe it.

I honestly have no idea. I just posted info from the seed finder site.

..my early pheno after 63 days
very terpy, tropical fruit smell. she was grown from clone, in the first round i gave her only 8 weeks and she was already very potent and cerebral.
I´m gonna show you some dried shots soon, I love how the buds break into single calyxes when grinding it between your finger tips..:)

That looks incredible!! I ran it once before. Single fem seed of Dr. Grinspoon . Sadly I lost it at about 7 weeks in due to aphids. Didn't have any back-up clones either. The one I had made actual buds, but nothing like the one you have.

I wonder how many packs it would take to find the "single calyx's on sticks" pheno? Would love to grow that and see how it smokes. :tiphat:

The Purple I posted earlier has grown and is now around week 4 (after a week sex was shown) of flowering.

The deep purple color is mostly on the buds, yellow orange hairs that are turning slightly rust/brown colored. There is a smell of berry with a very earthy tone...fresh like after a rain. They need less nitrogen than id imagine. The purple color is very dominant in these seeds. The temperatures have been normal 75-85F sometimes hotter and the purple is there so its not triggered by the environment.

These plants are in less than a liter of media. Next pic would be the harvest. ill take them above week 10.

sorry to hear that bro..! I read somewhere that the pearl necklace pheno comes with a rate of about 10% of the breed..so with three 5 packs you are on the safe side

Think that's the Oaxaca 79' x Pakistan Chitral Kush cross by Cannabiogen. Very nice looking Plants, awesome colors.

Why would you assume that?

These seeds were found on my expedition through the southern parts of Mexico. I was lucky enough to be offered about an ounce of purple buds while traveling deep in a sierra. Found a few seeds.

The plants that grew from those seeds are all purple and identical in structure. The nature of the location makes me believe this is a landrace.

I guess the credit would go to the town and its farmers.
