That could be an epic cross right there. I was thinking Fed Hawaiian x Molokai Frost. Cherry Bomb/Fed Hawaiian x Molokai sounds good to me as well. 3-way Hawaiian mash up could be interesting.

That sounds great. I have molokai frost x puna sativa pure. The molokai frost I used smelled and tasted of chocolate mint skunk. Maybe a touch of coffee and/or moth balls, some seasons. The puna sativa was from bcs/hhf and he gifted me the pure maui wowie (oaxacan sativa smuggled into Hawaii by the brotherhood of eternal love.) not the maui wowie x (maui x afghan.)

This is the molokai frost I used in the cross.

Great plants above and thank you to all, for all the positive vibes!
Ciskei tropical seeds
Don't think I will grow this one again. Thaibliss would love to know how you made out with Ciskei?

Hi Vermontman,

Two of the plants have very small buds. These plants were the more licorice/menthol/spicy/lemon ones.

The bushy one that was more lemony with skinny Thai like leaves got heavy buds right at the very end. Looks like a heavy producer. None were ripe enough to harvest on the 12th, but close. Since then we got remnants of a typhoon and got 8+ inches of rain. Big mold resistance test.

I'll check on them tomorrow, as the weather is clearing. Should be ripe, but I'll let you know.

Looks old school. How many plants is that? Can't make out any main stems. How is the smoke

that is one plant. i laid it on it's side and pulled the branches down till it was 6' along the ground and then let it go the peaks are close to 13' tall. i am in the process of taking her down so need some time to give a smoke report. first time growing her. it is said to be 78/79 maui lineage.

peace

I would imagine that Molokai/Puna cross is something special. Wish I had more BCS stock. Got their TW IBL indirectly. Dude who gave me those still runs their Black Haze and swears by it. There were always too many complaints about people not getting their orders for me to gamble my funds. I still need to look into those HM/BB x Thai82 Samson. Thought about those awhile back:biggrin:

@Dirtboy: those are some great pics brother. Hope you are doing well. :)

You sure do and you need to do it big. I almost popped some this season actually. I just couldn't stop thinking about how nice they would mix with Angola. Molokai frost x angola would be nice too.

BCS wasn't always hit or miss. Seems like they get overwhelmed and fall off.

Hey Sampson4, What does that mean? "BCS wasn't always hit or miss". Which Angola are we talking about? Does the Angola smoke like Colombian Red. Charlie Garcia speculates that Colombian NLD sativas originated from African genetics a century or so ago............

Hey flboy, Mr Greengenes started with 1975 - 1976 Maui Wowie thru New York City and took Maui Wowie f21 (f20 - f22) ~ 21 generations of selections / development on the Maui Wowie / Cherry Bomb. In the 1990's - 2000's breeders added Hawaiian Indica to the early 1970's Maui Wowie. IMO, 1970's Highland Oaxacan was too uppity for the laid back Hawaiian vibe. After smoking a NLD Highland Mexican or Highland Colombain there is too much psycedelic energy to be relaxing on the beach. We'd come home from college on Friday in in 1972 smoke some Acapuclo Gold and wake up Saturday in a different state, a long long way from home.......... and I didn't even own a car.......hehehe

How many plants? hehehe... My brother's best friend grew Highland Oaxacan cannabis plants for ten years in the 1970's the size of small two story houses. I'd tell my brother, tell your farmer to let his Oaxacan get ripe before harvest. He'd say, "You tell him!" hehehe

Even unripe, homegrown 1970's Oaxacan was my brother's favorite high from the 1970's. He smoked the farmer's connoisseur stash. 1973 Maui Wowie and mauir Wowie homegrown was my favorite, which I'd guess was Hawaiian grown early 1970's Highland Oaxacan Gold / 1970's Highland Mexican Red Hair, cured it was orange color.

I grew the 1973 Maui Wowie P1 thru New York City to f1 then revegged the f1) and in a bastardized kind of way, flowered that 1973 Maui Wowie for the next 52 weeks, alternating between veg and flower and back again. My current grow is looking for a Haze that will adapt to my 1970's bastardized perpetual grow of that Maui Wowie. Once you find your Ultimate Sativa its becomes the ultimate. you shouldn't have to deviate too far from "The Ultimate". Cherry Bomb f21 - you else has done f21?

Pure early 1970's Maui Wowie was one of the best from the 1970's. Maui Wowie probably contained Highland Oaxacan genetics. The Oaxacan region is one of the best agriculture regions in Mexico / Southern Mexico.

Chimera's [(1973 Highland Guerrero x Blueberry) x (Destroyer -Highland Thai / Meao Thai / Hmong Thai)] is a poly- hybrid x poly hybrid with genetics from some of the best Mexico, Colombian and Thailand has to offer. A lot of people get the 1970's Mexican and Thailand high mixed up - 1970's Highland Mexican and 1970's Highland Thai have exquisite highs if you can find pure NLD genetics. Destroyer x 1973 Highland Guerrero / Blueberry will produce excellent Highland Mexican and Highland Thai phenotypes. Destroyer and Blueberry arer both about f6 - f8 so they are developed hybrids. Mr. Greengenes Cherry bomb is f21, which means Mr. Greengenes selected Cherry Bomb over 21 generations. f21 is unheard of in today's market of clone only and BX selfing.

Destroyer x (1973 Highland Guerrero x Blueberry) sativa hybrid x sativa / indica hybrid contains genetic diversity of the 1970's:-
1980 Highland Thai,
1960's Mexican x Colombian,
1970's Highland Oaxacan Gold,
1973 Highland Guerrero Green,
1970's Juicy Fruit Thai and,
DJ Shorts 1970's Afghanistan

FWIW - this is still the continuation of "The Ultimate Sativa Thread" ~ the best African, Asian and South American sativas.

FWIW again : The \Ultimate Sativa from the 1970's:

1970's - Ultimate sativas - mostly what I smoked South American sativas.

1973 Maui Wowie (thru NYC) seedless flowers (Wowie, very blissful and euphoric!) $3 - $4 / gram, connoisseur cannabis and very expensive.
1975 Thai Stick ($15 / stick) ridiculously expensive for a finger sized stick, when I'm trimming arm sized colas of homegrown colas of Maui Wowie. My brother's best friend was growing Highland Oaxacan cannabis plants the size of small two story houses.

all of the 1960's - early 1970's Colombians was imported thry New York City _ sold for $3 - $4 / gram, connoisseur cannabis and very expensive. Stronger than mid-level Lebanese or Morracan hash with better connoisseur high than 95% of all early 1970's African, Middle East, and Southeast Asian hash. My favorite was that top 5% of African, Middle East, and Southeast Asian hash - connoisseur stash, not available commercially. Hash + Psycedelics was my 1970's ticket to paradise. In the 1970's - I always had Black Nepalese Temple Hash, well cure Pscilicybin Mushrooms, homegrown Maui Wowie or Oaxacan and clinical pure LSD - 25 ( $1 / hit = 16 hour trip). Of those Maui Wowie had my favorite high - very blissful and euphoric. Life could get very weird very fast and for a long time on LSD - 25.

The connoisseur Colombian that came thru New York City in the late 1960's and early 1970's and 1975 Thai Stick had highs the closest to LSD -25, not as long lasting or as strong but similar high. Clear, clean, cerebral, trippy, psycedelic and other worldly.

Late 1960's - early 1970's Colombian Red seedless flowers (Narcotic and psycedelic high)
Late 1960's - early 1970's Colombian Green/Red seedless flowers (Punto Rojo - blissful, contemplative high, one of the best highs)
Late 1960's- early 1970's Colombian Gold seedless flowers (similar to LSD-25) Frankincense aromas
Late 1960's - early 1970's Colombian Rainbow seedless flowers
Late 1960's - early 1970's Colombian Purple seedless flowers
Late 1960's early 1970's dark brown/green/black Colombian - strong and psycedelic high.
1972 Acapulco Gold (thru Miami) strong, trippy, and psycedelic ( similar trip to mushrooms
1971 Panama Red (thru Miami) strong, trippy and psycedelic (similar trip to mushrooms)
1974 Highland Oaxacan Gold - The one DJ Short raves about
late 1960's early 1970's Thai seedless flowers ( Thru NYC) (Clean, spacious and blissful high)
Mid-1970's Homegrown seedless 1973 Maui Wowie (Wow) $2 - $3 gram)
Mid--1970's homegrown seedless 1974 Highland Oaxacan Gold ( $2 - $3 gram_$3 - $4 / gram, connoisseur cannabis and very expensive.
Early 1970's hand-rubbed satvia charas from Burma and Nepal ($6 gram if you were lucky)
Early 1970's Black Nepales hash - thru New York City ( $5 - $6 gramz)
1973 Nepalese Charas - opiated ( $7 gram)

There was only one shipment of commercial Colombian that is note-worthly - 1976 Colombian Red, (Narcotic strong and psychedelic) 12 people got very high / stoned from 2 joints, smoking in a circle ceremony in my side yard.

Bcs has used many avenues of distribution. Seems that they get overwhelmed lose track of orders etc. Then they move on, burning bridges. I was lucky to have dealt with them when they were still at another large forum.

The Angola I have is from LMN. The high is polarizing. That is what I have come to call it. All positive, high energy, laughter, heightened senses, with little to no negative anxiety, body, or confusion. Perfect for social events, sports, sex or even studying. The flavor is phenomenal.

How long did the HM/BB x Thai flower generally? I doubt I could come close to finishing them OD in central KY. Would give it a shot though. Just put them in the ground in prepped holes and let them go huge. Would be awesome. Care to share your opinion of the smoke?
I have read others raving about that Angola. Your lucky to have her.
Wish I would have been paying attention when BCS was on point. Their offerings were apparently the real deal. They just sucked at customer service I guess. I noticed SnowHigh uses a lot of their stock in his breeding. That dude has put together some killer combos in some of his crosses, no doubt.
