Revised Vertical Areo

If ya want a 48" dia. each tube as shown in pic #1 They are cut 16" for a 42" like im building now it would be 13" for each piece
The small pieces shown in pic 3 that feeds down to the res is 4 1/4" long or ya could make them longer if ya want more space between each tube, but ya would have to make an adjustment with the holding frame.
I started working on attaching the feed bar to the vertical runs, wouldn't ya kknow it battery went dead, shit! Anyway on a 6 tube system ownly 3 tubes will need these feeder tubes. I really promise to get a pic tommorrow, dont know if I'll get all them done but you'll get the idea. The frame will have to be built before i can tie the feeder lines all together but will get pics as i go along, and yea , If ya need any measurements just let me know.

bb thank you very much for the pics, been studying this set, and other pics.
i know i'm a little slow some times going to keep looking so i don't bombard you with to many questions. mainly trying to figure out plumbing from pump to misters for even pressure. i did some window shopping at the depot found summersible pumps i think for wells for around 150-200. some cheaper pvc black on inside white on outside. found res. just need to keep lookin at pics maybe bulb will come on.anyway thank again  :smoker: later si

a well pump is what im using, for i used a dock float,it holds 60 gal and low profile, ownly 9" tall. pump sits on the floor and draws from the res a 24 volt valve opens with the timmer

ok I finally got the first feed bar done and got some pics for everyone, gonna have to to get this project done, as ya can see the little girls are going good in this new areo clonner @9 days in and some plants with 3" roots already

There will be 3 octagons that will have this feed bar installed, the top oct. the every other oct , so with 6 tiers , 3 will have feed bars

been away for a couple days but wow clones look realy healthy. i was thinking about the feed bar. you are running half inch drip line, then 1/4 feed lines of that to the misters. then one on every other row for six tears. how are you connecting 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch to misters, and what have you been doing to prevent leaks. thanks for your help SI :joint:

yea this is this first run with the ez clonner and is really impressive.basically your right but i may have to goto 1/8" tubing .125 , I have a punch and fittings that snap in the feed line, just like a drip system except having sprayers instead of drip. Instead of cutting holes in the side of the pipe im gonna use a 3" rubber puck and a 3" root guard with the hose in the top.

looks llike im gonna have to get this project done pretty soon, these girls just keep going, today is the start of day 12 of rooting, guess im gonna have to start feeding them , some havent rooted yet but thats ok, there's enough for what i want, Ill just toss the rest.

you gotta be excited if thats your first run through the e-zay. if you time them right you could almost veg in the cloner then put in system and go. hey i hope i'm not bothering you with to many questions but maybe you could snap a shot of this. this idea might suck but i was thinking of building a feed line of pvc like you did first run but shaped like oct. i remember seeing a tee some where that went 1/2 on each side and 1/4 inch drip fitting of the tee. if i can find it again. i'm running dwc now 6 bucket system. my feed lines are 1/2 inch then punched 1/4 inch lines straight to buckets. had leaks hear and there nothing big worked fine.i don't no what psi i'm putting out now though. You probably thought of this and it did'nt work right or new feed line works really good. also could you tell me about the 24 volt relay on pump timer. Thanks again for getting back to me on all my questions. Told you i was a little slow Just kidding :joint:  later SI

a pic of what? the clonner?
Q's are no problem , I try to answer as soon as i can, I just spent the mornning or should i say the better part of the day building the frame to hold the oct. but I have to take a lot of breaks.Im hoping what I'll have no leaks when im done, but im running bout 80 psi.
Its not actually a 24 volt relay but a valve that operates on 24 volts and opened and closed with my cycle stat .you can buy these at lowes and menards or drip works for bout $14.99. Its really pretty simple, when my cycle stat turns on it powers up a 24 volt transformer which in turn power to the 24 volt valve to open the feed from the preassurized water from the preasurized tank to the feed bar, this may sound complicated but its really not.
Just as soon as the clones are all rooted they will go right into the new system,Actually if i wanted I could put my cuts right in the system and root there, but I like to make sure all is well rooted first.Im planning on building the main line feed tommorrow and putting it together tommorrow, I like to run a system for a few days before loading it up, just to make sure all is well. If i do get all this done I'll throw some pics up of it.

didn't get as much done as hoped to, got 3 tiers up right now , taking some time to clean the 3" holes from the hole saw, think im getting slow with age! lookin good though.
That ez clonner looks like its gonna work out well

ok , got the feed bars done today, dont know why but i keep getting ideas of changes, dont think ill ever get this thing done! going to put some cross rails at the top to hang the cool tubes from instead of hanging them from the ceiling joists. Since this unit is ownly 42" Dia. now my res wont fit under this thing now but thats ok , I got a fix for that. well tommorrow hopfully Ill hook up the pump and a few misters to see if this works out.Going to run it for a day to wash all the junk out of the pipe and lines before loading it

they are 8.5" center to center. On the stand, the upright pcs of pvc are cut 6.5", this is the pvc between the 2 tee's

O.K. just finnished putting this unit all together, except the new change i wanna do for hanging the lighting and its works super, got a leak at the header but thats gonna be a eash fix. Whit my old feeder bar that was made from PVC sch 40 pipe was a P.I.T.A., besides being bulky it was time consumming drilling and tapping the holes and was a never ending chore trying to keep things from leaking, The ownly leak I have with this is the "X" cross for the main feeder, im just gonna add another clamp and that should fix that. basically the ownly water that hit the floor is when the hose flipped out when i was filling the res. any gonna run this for a day or so, sterlize the unit, flush it, and fill it with my EZ clonner clones. Got some shit to do but will be back later today with some pics

heya bb, comin together awesome there, love the new feedbar design. will be nice to see the 1/4" connectors for the spray lines, i didn't know it was so easy to be leakproof form that tubing. btw with that stuff n those barbs, i got some leaking too out the ends of a couple, needed to seal it with silicone/rtv sealant, clamp didn't do the trick... i might suggest ya do that round all the ends of the tubing at the barbs, just cause you're runnin such high pressure, always easier to seal beforehand right hehe. such a pain to clean all the holesaw holes haha feel like a monkey doin that tedious crap... glad the ezcloner worked out well for ya man! btw is it hard to get into the octagon to put in the plants n stuff like that? do ya just stick your arms inbetween or what, seems completely enclosed a bit tricky, got any tricks for that? hehe. well best of luck on the startup, it's always great to flick it on and watch all the work come to life with the waterflow :) thanks for the info n keep it up man, peace.

hey king glad ya stopped by,leaks can be a pain, i stuck a couple of the 1/4" barbs yesterday to see if they were gonna leak and all looked good, no leaks, workin on gettin the rest installed today, BORING job. Im real happpy with the results of th ez clonner, just not happy with the price, gonna build one lilke yours soon.
I work all the plants from the outside area, I do have to climb under to install the lights, using my cool tubes this round. hoping for a smooth grow with this round.
Im due for a easy one, got a lot of projects i wanna build, besides your clonner , they got a bubble bucket thread I was reading and impressed me so i ordered some screen and gonna try to make some bubble. Good thread , if ya get a chance check it out, its in resin and hash .
