Awsome update Red. :lurk:

Good luck with the re-veg. Can you post a pic of your drying box? with the rack your using it looks like a file cabinet might be what it is.

Looks like a tasty harvest. I must insist though my friend...get off the chemicals and go with anything "OMRI Listing" stamped on it.

flava flav man. yucky chemmie....my .02...ha but I still insist :moon:

Taker easy and keep your stick on the ice,

Darren - All I can say is let it cure for as long as you can stay out of it. It will get better and better. I find it takes 2 mo to get a full cure.

Hey BG - I agree with you about chemmie nutes but I'm not afraid of hydro. I'm doing hydro in a soil-less mix that has some of the properties of a soil grow. I'm just learning about organics and the OMRI designation is something that I've just heard about in the last 2 months or so. I'm onto the A/N product line now which are high quality hydro nutes. The plant seems to use everthing it takes up with no buildups and the AN line is being pushed for medical use. This grow is gonna be flava flav all the way!!! I was real careful to cut the nutes back and give it enough flush time with molasses that acts as a chelating agent. I've had my share of chem weed. Cough-cough hack hack!!!

Here's my eazy to make drying box. I take a hanging file rack and tie some strings across for closelines and stick it in a rubbermaid tub with an intake hole cut in the bottom. I cut a hole in the lid and duct tape a Hamilton Beach Tru Air filter.

I also refill the filter cartridge with activated charcoal. Just cut a slit in the blue filter cloth, shake out the old stuff and fill 'er up again for pennies. Cover the slit with duct tape and you're in business.

Awsome thanks Red. That's a great lookin drying tub. You handy you! another fine example of the power of duct tape. A/N have some great products, agreed. Their Mother Earth Green Tea has been a staple of mine since my starting with organics. I've been having good success with Bio Bizz product line last few runs. Fox Farm's Tiger Bloom went bad on me at about the 2-year mark and other members had the same problem I read. (just for the heads up)

Good luck with your next run Red. I'll be watchin for sure my friend.

I'm gonna be running the Sensi Bloom for a while. It works very well as a base flowering nute. My two little plants only ate up about 100ml in a 1 l container. I definately want to run the Big Bud and Overdrive enhancers on the next run.

Honestly, I've never been interested in the organics because a lot of the stuff is unavailable, you know bat shit and worm castings and all that stuff. I've never seen all these branded soil mixes and additives in our local stores.

If I go organic-hydro, I'd try the AN Iguana Juice Bloom. It sounds like a complete base flowering nute similar to the Sensi Bloom. I'd use the Big Bud and Overdrive with it too.

In my random searches for cabinets that i often do (i like to fantasize about building the perfect grow-cab for myself, but it's rather infeasible given my current funds), i came across something i thought would be interesting to my fellow US inhabitants, seeing as how Canadian Tire doesn't exist in these parts. I believe that Target has the exact same cab you're using Red.

Decent price at $40USD too. So for those in the US looking to replicate Red's grow to a T, there's your chance.

its in the process of being put together right now, so no grow records in it yet. i still have to get a few things before i can finish it.
i will be running a 150w HPS in a DWC. these are some pics of the same light and system but in my closet these are at 26 days of flower.

Boy that sure looks like it. At $40 it's a good deal. All of our stores are Intra Global Multi Mega Marts carrying all the same made in China shit.

that's the c25 I used to have one

with a 400 in there and up to six 2 gallon buckets. I actually gave it to a friend and he called the other day and said he's getting ready to pull his first crop - he loves the thing!

That's a good cabinet for the 150 for sure. There is also a C-1 at homedepot that is 29" wide x 14.5" deep and 60" or so that would work well for the setup rg is using.

My 150 cab has the same 29" wide x 14.5" deep footprint and I do the same 2 plants with the bulb orientated in the middle. However my cab is only 29" high inside.

Most of the cabs around here run about $100. Mine is regularly priced at $80 so I jumped on it when it was on sale for $50. It's one of the smaller cabs being only 12" deep. That worked out quite well since I have it tucked in a closet that's only 24" deep. The 4" duct in the back with a 90* bend takes about 8-10".

Sounds good Darren!!! I just dried and jarred the first plant and harvested the second one today! I've tried out some of the dried popcorn trim. Does it ever taste sweet and has a nice bery smell. Oooh, it's gonna be nice when cured!!!

IMPRESSIVE Red - I agree w/ mtnjohn... but it looks like you're gonna need a bigger frame, however!!

Soooo, what's your estimated yield?? Sure looks like you could have used that lawnmower advertised in the paper for your harvest - 2nd to last pic!!!

Is the HPS system worth the extra work... should I hurry my growbox for my revegging NL????

Thanks guys!!!

MTJ - I was making my drybox and just happened to be poking around in my file cabinet and I fit's perfectly into a 18 gal rubbermaid roughneck.

I'm lucky that I harvested both plants a week apart otherwise my drybox would be overloaded.

I'd make a emergency drying box out of a carboard boxe and pipe it through my air filter. All it would take is a bit of duct tape!!!

I2Kangrow - hey buddy where ya bin? I got close to 1-1/2 zip from the first plant and quite a bit more from the second plant. I'll give grand total when the second plant is dried by the end of the week.

Hey Budless - we'll fix you up don't worry!!

I've had a most excellent day today. Did a pile of yardwork and made a run to the dump with some junk and dropped off a dead computer to the local recycling computer drive. I got my bike running and went for a nice ride around town this afternoon. I tinkered with my bike and ended up adding studs to the backrest. Oh yeah I picked up a slab of striploin and a box of beer and had a most excellent bbq in the backyard. There were no neighours all around me so I rolled up a joint and blazed along with my steak.

My final project tonight is to cut down the rootball and repot my Shiskaberry that I harvested today. Here's a few shots of massive rootball reconstruction.

Here's my revegging girls in the cab. I've powered down the HPS light and fan in the coolbox and just have 26 W CFL's and the scrubber for ventilation.
