Definitely some bonus points for style there Red, those lamps of your folks pimp out the growbox real sweet. You should definitely throw a dark red velvet sash on the back wall just for effect, and invite Chest Rockwell over, lol.

Hey Tizzlemonster - 38 days veg, 65 days flower for one plant and 72 days flower for the other one. Most of these grow cycles are 3 months plus a week or two. I've run this strain on 30 days veg and 55 days flower.

Hey BG - having a 2 stage harvest worked out really well. The first plant is dried and jarred and the second one is drying. All the leaves are in two paper bags sitting in the bottom of the growbox. There's medicinal value in them thar leaves.

I've got a big job coming up this summer at work and wasn't planning to grow through the hot summer months at least indoors. I want to reveg my two moms. If I do grow, it will be out in the garage in a rubbermaid.

Any who I'll post up my home-made cab for all to see. Its a little bit of an eye sore, but she has done the job fine thus far.
This was originally a cab for holding DVD players, game systems, movies, etc; but I managed to snag it for free when I helped a buddy move. I just bought some wood cut to spec, some door hinges, some mylar, and the rest I had from my previous rubbermaid.
I used a glass door that originally came on the cab as a light attic separator. It works wonders when you have the lights separated like that. I have two passive, light-trapping intakes one for the grow area and one for the light area. I also have two 4 inch fans pulling air through both areas. It's working pretty well for now, but when she starts to stink I'll need to construct a carbon scrubber to help with the smell.
220 watt CFLs. I could probably squeeze one 42 watt CFL in there, but since I have one plant sucking up all the light, I don't feel the need to replace it.
Here is my current grow - AK-48
She has been going through a bit of a nute crisis, but I'm getting that worked out. Right now bud sites are starting to show and I'm very, very happy. This is day 12 of flower. Could anybody tell me the expected flowering time of Ak-48? Last I checked it was 55 days, but since then I have not been able to find it anywhere on Seed Boutique's site.
Keep up the good work everybody. I'll be sure to keep posting up in here.

Well Red it's been a great Winter growing with each other. I'm glad you have summer stash. So if I get this straight you'll be keeping your veg cab going to keep the strains alive and will kick it up again when your contract is up? ..
will you still be around for the WnB and Lurking? It wouldn't be the same without our resident Red Greenery.

Oh I'm not going anywhere. I guess my post gave the impression that I was pulling the plug and disappearing. Sorry about that guys!!!
I'm going to definately reveg the 2 moms. I really don't have a veg cab anymore since I disassembled the rubbermaid to make the HPS flowering cab. I'm thinking about sticking in a lightbar with CFL's then I can cycle from veg to flower in the same cab.
Maybe I'll get around to making a veg/clone/mother box next.

Here's my Shiskaberry x Dutch Treat F2 that show's Dutch Treat dominant characteristics. It yielded 43g or 1.5 oz.
Here's my Shiskaberry dominant girl. It yielded 64g or 2.25 oz.
Here's a mug show of the harvest. 3.75 oz total.
That better keep me happy for a while!!!

hopefully there isn't some residue pickle flavor/smell left in those jars that'll attach to the bud. for some reason, i don't think pickle-cured bud would be too appetizing.

Whoa! Hell of a yield you have there Mr. Greenery. I'm pretty impressed. I bet you could pull a max of about 6 oz. from that cab. That would be pushing it though. I hope I can close to 2 oz. from my grow entire grow (1 Ak-48 plant, 8 inch pot, SCRoG, 220Watt CLF). Do you think it's possible?

She's normally under a screen, but she's just now starting to grow bud sites up through the screen so I was able to take it off for pictures. I assume later when she fills the screen I'll just leave it on when I take here in and out of the cab. Quick question - When should I start trimming leaves from under the canopy?

I've used these jars before and there's no smell.
Bosai - this kitchen scale is +/- 1 g but has no ranges. Just a little switch to go from kg/lb. Got it at Crappy Tire on sale for making homemade bear to measure out hops and barley. I had a Weight Watchers scale from my fat Sister that worked pretty good too. Hey I'm just measuring my harvest to see if I'm improving or not.
Budless - your plant looks real healthy. Keep up the good work. I've found a 1 sq foot screen should produce 1.5 oz or better if your grow is dialed in. SCROG is the way to to go to maximize your yeild in a micro grow.

I doubt the SSxK will yield as fat as the LUI for instance....we'll see.

Very nice grow/harvets. But pickle jars? I have used them before but that damn vinegar smell never comes completely out of the jars. Now I use Jelly jars (or something similar with low smell) and find they work much better at not stinking up the buds.

^^^^^^ nah...I got the pickle out by filling it right to the top with hot water, Sunlight Soap and a cup of Bleach. Full full full...then flip upside down for a week and store on it's lid. Most of the smell is in the lid. Worked great for me.....
