How did you determine the THC % of the O Haze in that cross?
Was the O Haze a true male or did you use something like a reversed female that tested at 10%

You can use chemicals to reverse a male, it is not smoke-able, but If you want to see what kind of genetics it has...

Just finished reading the whole thread and would like to answer few questions that have been asked in this thread.

Have been growing Seedsmans O. Hazes since 2014 and have found:
no wide leafs
no mutants
no hermi, no nanners, not 1 single banana
no fast flowering (>16w)
no purple

What is the smoke like?

Sweet, spices, wood, leather with earthy peppery incense on the exhale. The ladies did all have similar kind of terpene profile and effect.

Very energizing happy high. Not very strong. Probably around 8-12% THC.

But it is with the males were the things start to get interesting. It's incredible how O. Haze males do enhance flavors and effects.

Take FD Original Haze and make a cross with your favorite female clone and you will be surprised how good it is. Often much better then either parent.

I can post no pics of the O. Hazes at the moment, but they did look like all the other Seedsman O. Hazes that have been posted on forums. Did not find any female that was worth keeping (out of 5 packs). A few were great, but not what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, this has been empirically verified and I found no keepers in mango haze or Neville’s haze crosses that I have run. Sure there were some 5-8%’ers but we all know what we’re really looking for is a 15-20%’er that blows your mind, activates your heart chakra, makes your eyes tear and have inability to focus and laugh non stop
Let me know what lines to pursue, perhaps the real amnesia haze or old stock kali?

...at a little over 8wks of 11/13, from seed.
the 2 main pheno/genotypes i'm seeing in the green OT haze
basically lie between these two bud structure types:
the faster, more productive, a little darker greened...

the slower, less productive, a little lighter greened...

got 2 grnOThz males already dropping love dust,
for making more seeds with these ladies and their sisters,
and doing a few crosses.

I was basically saying I could relate to the blue teal\silverish nug thing, and described my favorite sativa that happened to be blueish. I know bout haze, and a bit about the landraces that created that, and many others. I wanna try SLH again i had a indica pheno first time.

I dig, It just sounded like the high you described was similar to what Sam liked, so maybe what you had way back was a haze too.

@ 11wks of 11/13, with the two
"opposing" bud/plant structures...

aromas on all plants are a similar earth/humus.
tall one's at 20"/51cm, shorter's at 10".
they've stayed nicely small in the 1qt.-sized* pots,
and will be up-potted into largers as soon as
their soil's dried enough.
also, soon time for pollination. i find wispy-
budded plants harder to re-veg, so don't know yet
how much of each plant i'll devote to seed-making
and/or re-vegging. i've twice the number of the shorter
denser structured... maybe they're more frequently occuring?

...and the purple, if i remember correctly (not available/shown at
the ace website currently), goes 18-24.

she was a purple outlier from a pure green haze pack.
3-5wks may be where she'll come down.

I have loved Haze since I first visited Holland in 1994. I have had the great pleasure of growing NL#5 x Haze, Kali Mist (the female is indeed a 16 week Haze), Super Silver Haze, Neville's Haze (directly from from Neville after a chess game) and Original Haze from the one and only man who brought Haze to Holland.

I will post more photos as well as cannabinoid and terpene tests over the next year.

PS: Thank you sam for all you have done, were it not for Haze and Skunk #1, the world of growing and toking would not be the same.
