question for sam the skunkman on the original haze

Sorry if it's already been covered elsewhere- were these the THH that were put out when SB first reopened? I grabbed some of those myself but I haven't checked viability yet (time/space, etc.) How many plants did you start with in this repro? I knew you were working the line, didn't know you were sending in seeds. Open pollination? I've got these and a pack from BR. If I add your pack that'll give me a good number to start with when I attempt the same. Great work, as always.

well i had 2 packs from the last repro in spain myself... germination was 50/50 but i wanted a good repro if i'll do this work... so i'll ask Panik who sold the last Chimera THH seeds from Breeders Retail when closing BR... he sent me a pack for free + some extra rar landraces...
i'll promised he will get seeds in return when successful for free...
so i had 31 plants... 6 got culled due bad grow...
from the 26 plants 12 where girls 13 males... did then a open pollination... to keep all phenotypes ... found all 4 inclusive the purple with purple stem... all is there...
but it's true... you have to grow 10 to find 1 stellar sometimes 20...
i've found 3 amazing (from high) hazes that i'll keep work with....
hope to do real F2's with the best and also pollinate them with o-haze and make selections to wake up the old genes... it's several generations removed from o-haze...
could be a method to bring back the old glory for booth...
better yield and stronger high... like back in the day's
the seeds i used where 2 x Repro by Raco (BR, Chimera,GS - Panik) and on original from latest Tom batch...

There was also a repro done in Spain .
Haze and Deep Chunk if my memory can recall .

yep by RACO a member here...
he did also a huge selection culled the bad ones...
and Monkey Haze... still have 2 packs...
need to reproduced too... it's also a great line not many have grown...

that doors pheno looks familiar had one like that grew buds in the centre of the fan leaves was nice smoke like an afghan haze type another i had was more yellow /ginger color with sweet spicey kerala type taste more uppy sk haze effect ,,,good to see as not seen many grows of doors online

well just checked my flower room...
and from all 9 plants one stand out by resin coverage...
she just started to flower... so in 12 weeks the resin will drip from the stem and flowers like honey haha...
will see...

o-haze resin queen.... sticky like hell

smell is metallic hazy ... like some THH too
smells really potent .. hope it will be @ the end...

God damnit this thread just cost me a pile of cash.
Went directly from here to peruse seed selection at a spot i used to frequent and ran across a pack of o-haze tucked away in a discreet charity auction.
I just finished doing my own small thh reproduction and dont need any more seed of any kind really.
So I say thank you madmac for those beautiful pictures, and the motivation to act on these usually elusive seeds.

edit to add that it was nevilles haze (mr nice) not o-haze, didnt realize there was a difference until now. So many hazes out there.
Im in the middle of reproducing thunk with 10 males and 6 females currently.
so now ten years after coming to terms with not being able to source a haze i find myself with a surplus of haze to work with.
