Geez. I have reached the epitome of tired.

Geez. I have reached the epitome of tired.

What's up folks. I'm nearing the end of this room. It's a little more work than I thought it was going to be but I hope it will be worth my effort.

cellardweller - I'd have to go out and get a BUNCH of rubber mats, bro. I switched from my Wallabees to my Air Jordans and the difference was certainly felt. Then again, I spent a lot of time on my knees smoothing the plastic out, so my knees ache now:wallbash:.

Agent-Smith - Honestly, I don't have any schoolgirl giddyness AT ALL right now, but that's only because I'm still knee-deep in shit trying to get everything done . Once I can sit back and know that everything is as perfect as I can get it, then I will be all happier than a pig in shit!

TheHollandHouse - Thanks, and no not really.

cocktail frank - Hey f.a.m., thanks. I think the titeness is continuing. Suspenseful indeed. I've been taking what seems like forever in calculating each next move and trying to anticipate any fuck ups 3 and 4 steps down the road. Hanging this plastic shit is WAY harder than I thought, epecially on the wall with the door AND a/c. After a lot of thought, I got it done the best I could, and I don't think it's that bad at all, especially for my first go at doing something like this.

ARTofMAKINGfire - Yo brother! What is going on my friend!? I'm so glad you found your way over. Thanks a million for your input. You certainly made nothing worse with anything you said, only firmed up what I thought was right. The two flowering rooms will be flip-flopped. The ballasts and duct fans will be on the outside of the room. Veg room, I'm thinking of doing 18-6 in the hot months and straight 24 in the cold months. I'll feel it out. The ambient temperature of the air being pulled through the lights will probably be several, if not 10 or more, degrees cooler than the air outside the grow chambers. I hope I got all your questions.

IKILL3RI - Working hard, yes indeed without a doubt. Fast, well I guess that's relative based on one's perspective :joint: I feel like it's taking FOREVER, but that's probably because I want it done NOW more than anyone out there, haha!

Thanks for dropping by folks.

Ok. Here's what's done so far:

Got the plastic down on the floor.

Fed the wires that go to the ballasts through the ceiling. I had a drill bit the made the most snug hole for the wire. I lopped off the plug and re-wired it after I fed it through. Left enough slack for them to be lowered at least another 1/1.5 feet. Duct tape at the top to ensure titeness. Duct tape patch in the back because I poked a hole:nanana:

Started hanging the last wall. This really took a lot of mental work. Maybe I was just retarded from all the spray adhesive fumes at this point.

Last wall, DONE!

I'm getting plants in there TOMORROW. At least 60, maybe 80.

I have to cut another hole for the duct work for the 1st row of 3 lights and mount the exhaust fan. I am mounting to oscillating fans on each of the long walls.

Then I just hang the other 3 lights, cut duct holes, run the ducting and wires and it's complete....if I'm not forgetting anything.

Comin' along nicely there, Lap! :respect:

I guess my timing's a little off, but I just thought that you could of installed the big vent fan before sprayin the adhesive?

Lookin' forward to seein' dem ladies! :lurk:

Im just a little curious as to why you used the clear paneling on the interior walls instead of just some inexpensive shear. Great looking room. Just curious ? did you have material sitting around or ? Because shear is very inexpensive right now . Nice work ... thanks for a great tutorial .

fuckin awesome yo,them rooms are gonna be rockin real soon.great work bruh.peace-T-

Is this room going to be completely sealed? What will you do about humidity? As I hear a grow of this size you may need a couple of the usual household units, or a commercial dehumidifier. ?

I really like the idea of white plastic paper on the inside. Sure could have helped me when it came to mudding/sanding lol..what a pain in the ASS.

Keep up the great work man everything looks great. I really like your A/C unit being supported right there. I need some ideas on how im going to install AC in my room for the summer. Here is my room. First grow ever.

ur not doin too bad yourself bterz...not to be all up in ur junk but if u feel like it, you could throw a 2x4 between that carbon filter and the wall to make it stand off of the wall a little...that'll give you a good amount more surface area on that filter.
