2 Peruvian golds from deep in the #jungle of the Amazon rain forest in atalaya where #chocolate originated.

my guess is this pure #landrace #columbiangold came to the region with #coca producers from #Columbia in the 80s when the columbian government cracked down on cartels and they moved to #peru and #Bolivia where to my knowledge has been untouched since

there is a diversity from chocolate, woods and #roadkillskunk. very pungent either way. but looking for the skunkers for my road-kill project I revived last year after taking a 10 year break.

While my smoking of late seventies lumbo was a few times for the gold and once for the green and red, I doubt there was anything like this taste or smell in your description. No one else that smoked it back then, has said anything different than what I said, being it was incense and cedar in smell or taste.

Grown in a tent the lumbo I have grown is lacking in that flavor and smell but it is there faintly. The cure seems to have been key in that distinctive smell/taste that was standard for old time lumbo. Skunk was absent in old or new lumbo and citrus was not much that I could taste, if any.

This def has been brought up many times. And I can see your position

I have grown many of the same strains domestically in soil, hydro, outdoor, indoor and greenhouse, all organic, all synthetic and a mix of both. Guess what? They all turned out sometimes a bit different and some cases loke different plants

So how does weed, grown by poor native farmers, from seed with huge pheno swings, dried in the sun for how long? Sprayed with cola than bailed have any real quality assurance or inclination on how the original plants smelled at peak harvest?

Imvho is conflating apples and oranges.

Sprayed with Cola or Dr. Pepper? A world of difference there
I just read a colombian gold thread here in ic...all the old timers were saying they really missed the coca Cole syrup taste and smell. Hahaha

And how they haven't had it since.... well.....should we burst the bubble and send them to 7 11 ?

the look like pure sativas from the look of it ...

Those are 2 different Thai strains. The 1st was foxtail. The 2nd is not. That one is her Thai. Dont use the leaf morphology from her version. Look at the whole plant bud structure in the 1st. Very different from yours. Both look like a Sativa Should IMO. I'd love to get my hands on those seeds.
