Hi
Michoacan from Four Seasons belongs to spice, cola flavour, earthy, incensed mexicana of darker shape, not to the citric green lime ones or gold. Finishes around november

Piedra de Chihuahua (25% in this cross) is a modern local mexican hybrid, citric and zorrillo smelling plants. Use to be a strong line. Finishes around 12-14 weeks
Used 3 males here

Chihuahua is also in La Cucaracha (Jarilla de Sinaloa x Piedra de Chihuahua), the viagra one lol

Panama Red

Panama Red

Hola amigos,

I believe that panama red was from brother Lynx. That Panama Red looks surreal.

Lynx, brother I wanted to express my gratitude for the beans you sent my way many years ago. It has been such a long time since the vibes collective. Only Lynx would know the source of those beans.

Charlie, you too brother. I am so happy and grateful. I am sorry on any confusion on the PR. I am getting old Hermano and forgetful.

El Chischas, carnal espero que estes bien Hermano .

Un Abrazo a todos....Huesos (Wesos)

Hola Wesos!!

Good to see you around... if the source was Lynx I'm pretty sure it could also be the PRed 74 indeed, as the Ethiopians, Lambsbread and Panama Red were all reproduced by Rahan years ago and most of the stuff was shared at the collective. Funny thing is they look quite different than those Green Grocer's plant but I guess they are just different selections or generations. Rushman who shared first the seeds, had several lines. There are more pics here from the Panama strain: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=196211

I got some of those Ethiopians from Lynx as well, it's been a long time since he logged in here at the IC, such a cool guy and great grower. I think I still have some of his South Indians around. Mad respect for our northern fella and all the other collective members!

Anyway this african beauties were also reproduced this past season with the help of my fella Blan_k_flor, who recently uploaded pics from the project. The legacy continues...

Vibes! :)

Hola Mustafunk :)

Yes- lynx, Rahan. I am so grateful. All the selections are classics. On the South Indians, you will kick yourself for not trying them earlier. I am in love with them lol. The Jamaican Lambsbread is amazing too. The Colombian MangoBiches, Michoacan shown above, Oaxacans, and so forth, make me feel great to be alive.

My deepest respect :tiphat: to the kind souls that keep them alive.

Wow Greengrocer, they look amazing! So healthy looking and really starting to grow now.
Can I ask about your organic nutrients that you have added to the coco coir?
I could do with some tips on preparing a medium for growing landraces as my friend has brought me back some south Indian Kerala seeds and I have never grown pure landrace before.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Mainly you want to keep very light on the nutes. Don't use much of anything until the plants are well hardened. How old are yours from seed? I use an organic nutrient mix by Dr Earth that has probiotics in it as well as making organic earthworm compost tea once a week. The babies get 100% coco coir (ph adjusted) and the 1st transplant goes into a mix of Promix HP and some Dr Earth potting mix then the top and sides are Coco coir.

Just in general always use less of nutes than you think you should. Sats are very sensitive to them. Are you growing indoors or outdoors?

Hope this helps

hey GG, thanks for the tips. I have not started the seeds yet but will soon, I'm trying to gather as much info as I can on growing landraces before I attempt any as I know they are very sensitive to nutrients.
I have grown a handful of sativa's from Ace and Cbg and have got by through giving them very small amounts of liquid organic nutes such as BioCanna but for a wild landrace strain this is not a good idea I believe as the plant will absorb the nutes too fast, correct?
So the way to go is small amounts of slow release nutrients mixed into the soil/coir but only after the seedlings have hardened off.
I have some slow release nutrients, the numbers are 1.1.2, do you think this would be ok? I will get some worm castings for tea also.
I will grow them indoors, my only option as I'm in the U.K.

Hi Window,

I am going to follow your grow with interest. I hope you post weekly updates on ICMag. It is a very good way to learn also because then later on you can follow your own progress and learn much about how to improve future grows. Keep nute 100% organic and very light. I would add it to the tea you make with worm casting which the plants love and does not stress them. There are some excellent videos on YouTube about making tea and you c an use it as both foliar and to water with.

Honestly I do not know much about growing sats indoors. My plants mostly want tons of root space and they like to spread out very bushy and this might be very difficult indoors unless you can trim them a lot and maybe learn about bonsai growing. You will have to see how it comes. The plants need a lot of light and they drink a ton!

Best of luck and send the URL here so we can follow your grow.

Best vibes...Sunday or Monday update coming!
