Hey GG, such a shame no males on groups 1 and 3 but good news on #2.
Pred x Oaxaca sounds nice.
Never smoked a pure mex as never seen such import here in U.K, mainly African and Thai.
Good vibes to you and your plants and fingers crossed you get male and female on the 12 finger.

8-2-14 - CLONER INSTALLED

8-2-14 - CLONER INSTALLED

Hi all,

I built a cloner from instructions on this site and installed it today.Im hoping will have better luck with it. So far of like 15 to 20 cuts taken only 2 rooted, one Oaxcan Red Male and one Stash PRed Male. Not a very good track record. - (Pics later..)

Window, as it turns out I did find one male from Group 3 (1974) so I have set up an area and will be pollenating one Group 1 and 1 Group 3 with it.

Hope to have some good clones in a week or so. Lets see.

Best vibes
GG

PS - Here is the link I used and the guts of mine look just about identical. I checked and its all working. I think I used a few more sprayers and also used a smaller less expensive pump adjustable from 170 to 300 gal per day.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=40055

12 Clones taken today - Machine can hold 25 - This is very much MacGyvered in every way, but hope it works!

PPS - The clones in the machine are as follows from left to right

Group A - (Left - Closest to Camera) Stash PRed Male 2
Group B (middle) Stash PRed Male 1
Group C - (right side) Fully seeded Stash Female

Should be interesting to see what happens. - STAY TUNED!!

Clonex Added to water in Cloner. Any comments or suggestions much appreciated. HAPPY WEEKEND!!

That is good news on the 74 male, GG.
Cool looking cloner, hope it works for you.
A lesson learned for me is to allways make sure clonex is in date and now will buy new every 6 months to keep its potency, lol. They say it lasts a year but I've found it becomes weaker after 6 months.
Rooting in plain water after cutting and dipping in clonex has never failed me but can take up to three weeks under a small flouro.

Thanks Bushy - Will you tell me the trick to rezzing the pics larger like that? I am so proud of my cloner. Id doesn't seem like much but thanks to the instructions on this site I could make it. The thing probably cost more than the easy cloner but now I can make more and larger if I need. Fingers crossed that it works as advertised. I have a lot of plants to save.

HI GG, just go into your albums (click on Forum Albums rectangle above the writing box when you make a post) and double click on the album and then the photo you want to post, which will bring it up in full res. Now underneath the photo is two lines of script, double click or highlight the bottom line of script, then copy it (Edit copy, or right click copy or command c) then paste the script into your post.

It's as simple as that bro. But I understand if you were born before 1960, nothing on a computer is simple! But msg me if you need more help.

GG,
Looking at the bottom of your cloner, wondering how you'll remove the clones without cutting the lid apart? Just wondering if there's some trick. Best of luck, love the landrace sativas.

Wow Charlie, what beautiful Oaxacans! :tiphat:

I didn't know if post this here or in The Search for Trip Weed thread.

It was written by the Spanish thinker and drug expert Antonio Escohotado.

When I was wearing two decades almost daily smoking some cannabis, in 1986 I was given one marijuana from Sinaloa (Mexico) such powerful within a few days (in an act of clear cowardice) ended up throwing the rest. It should have been ready for a few cigarette puffs to get a peyote or LSD experience. Again and again it seemed absurd to me, but again and again it caught me off guard big psychic excursions. The thing was even more strange considering that during the same trip to Mexico tried marihuanas considered excellent, with all justice, without even touching the thresholds that other run through using minimal amounts.

lovely lines indeed Ahortator :tiphat: always so easy to go, kinda let them go and water, lets see how the do and which weather autumm may bring around.
Some seeds were getting older, like Greengrocer ones, trying to refresh them in this hot summer... and, vicious I am, putting some pieces together if possible

Yeap remember such text, Mexico is Mexico :) Must go soon

Cloner

Cloner

Hiya Adze

The cloner has like 3/8 id tubing or 5/16 ID cant remember which now.....that the clones go thru. What I did is split the tubing along the centerline so when I want to remove the rooted clones I pull them gently through the 1/2 " hole cut in the top for the tube then I open the tube lengthwise along the centerline cut.

Its not pretty but it works and saves me all the fiddling with 2"netpots which I don't need. Also gives room for many more "nodes" as I don't have to worry about the 2"pot.

The pump was purchased at Lowes, adjustable 190 to 310gal/hour flow for about $29 as I recall. I have found that the sprayer heads I buy at my local hydro store are much more robust, (bigger hole) less likely to clog than the ones I bought at Lowes.

I change the water frequently and have been adding a small bit of Clonex for rooting and SM-90 to keep it clean.

So far I have 6 or 7 rooted clones. These were males that were sexed so Im proud of that, the seeded branches have been difficult to clone. But the males have been taking about 7 to 10 days (some longer) to root.

WOOT WOOT

Best vibes

PS - Awesome looking Oaxacans bro! Mine are about the same age. I will put pics soon, I noticed the 12 Finger does also have the pink leaf similar to the Oaxacan male. So did the pollen I sent you take?
