I have been talking to welthink about. Uying some ballast direct to resell. They are aware of the past problems. And they have told me that alot of the isuues have been taking care of and that the quality is better. Not sure what that means...

What are people willing to pay.

Philips 315 ballast with 6ft cord power cord and 12ft lamp cord, with housing. Not sure if housing is needed.
Cdm 315 930 agro lamp.
Phantom 315 cdm reflector.
277 to 120 converter transformer.

Basically a complete ready made plug and play kit.

Thinking possibly 3 super sun 2's converted to 315's over a 3X6 SOG space would rock and save a lil bit in electricity over 2 600's .. If you could sqeeze 3 hoods in that space..

ok I am looking for a super cheap way to piece a 315w cmh together I have led's now a mars II 700 and mars II 400 and it gets to hot where I live to get hps what are some options

the tent size I plan on putting my light in is 32x32x63

I know cmh is not that cheap but do want to get a hps if I don't have to and I was trying to see if I could get better yields with cmh

So I heard back from Horticulture Source about the new Phantom package. They just listed it. Now THIS is a reasonable price for plug and play CMH! Understand that shipping is $40-50 additional, but that still has it going for a delivered price of around $370. Bulb included. It is also 120/240v, which is a really nice option to have.

Hoping someone who buys the Phantom reflector can eventually post some pics of the unboxing and set-up. I'm still a few weeks away from purchase.

I havent seen it explained here but what is the purpose of the silver paint on the external surface of the glass jacket of the 930 or 942 bulb?

Are there any issues if part of it is abraided off?

The only lamp that I have that has silver paint on it is an Agro that I bought from Cycloptics. I thought that they had done it to eliminate a hot spot directly under the lamp, considering that their reflector depends almost entirely on reflected light. None of my Philips 930's have the paint.

Likewise the T9 930's I acquired thru Amazon. No paint.

Yeah it is a 942 from cycloptics. I dont actually know about the 930, i bought a 942 equipped GB. The bulb extends just past the lip of the reflector and i set it on my floor which scuffed it a bit

Im not overly concerned since it runs fine

Hi to all and thx for the info shared, inestimable.
in a clearance sale, i've bought four Philips CDM 210W 942 PGZX18 and two Philips DynaVision Prog Xt SON250 (suitable for the CDM 210 link ) for 100€.
Now, for my first indoor experience, in a closet of about 60x120cm (2x4ft) i want to use two 210W.
Are these lamp good enough to achieve a result?
Which is the best arrangement for two lamp in this space?
Can use these lamp in a cooltube?

thx
