Sorry was away a bit working on my selected Bonsai which is a pretty interesting strain a cross between a Northern Light with a Chemdog and a Santa Marta with G13.

I cleaned her a bit, pruned and defoilated a bit, and monstered the top by breaking its cell wall, hoping she will form a little bone

It is my first time, how am I doing si far? She is 17cm, just showing pistils

This looks great man I love the strain, sounds like it should be a good one, I've found it to be almost a bit easier to like grow her out a bit and train it a bit then cut it back some like idk, almost like it make it focus less on the bottoms so they are like more bendy kinda, then I try to trim it back, that's why I cloned the whole top of the truffle with a limb in the dirt, I'm hoping for it to root right there and I can start with a "v" at the very bottom. Bc this is for astetics nothing more, I don't care what kinda bud comes from it, I may never even flower it. I Wana train something to throw tiny leaves as well, I haven't figured that out yet, that's also a reason I was looking at the ABC bastard grass, it's got them tiny leaves lol

I might try to age her, like flower then reveg and let the stem like more like a tree’s trunk. I gotta figure out how to play with the roots like some do

I was nice to her after like 4 years of abuse, and like I got her from someone and it was dieing kn flower, I revenged it(you seen the Pic of it revenging in the box on the can u made fun of it lol) I got some seeds, that's the mutants, lol well I got a couple mutants, alot of them are doin very well, I even have second nodes appearing on some already, could be males, I hope not, this was a nice fast strain, hopefully it still is lol, I kinda only grow faster stuff, outdoor anyway, otherwise I wouldn't have seeds lol seeds smh... bur here check them out, ull be the first one here to see progress of them as of the 2nd node stuff, they tiny still tho lol

Nice but I think you will probably have some very interesting mutants that you can then select and cross and make a new version of the grinspoon or whatever it is called

So to do this like u gotta take it out of the pot and like, I've seen some ruff shit, like so I'm using the felties to avoid the root spinning on the outside of the pot, the air gets in and trims for you, keep it off the floor, like on a grate and let it get lots of air, it should just do it for you,
Here's the other way...
U take it out the pot when it's all white and compact around,(bc it's an old plant obviously for a speaking point) then dude just set it on a table roots were up against the pot, well call it 1 gallon for shits and giggles, set that on the table and took a big like foot piece of metal that was a blade on one side and shopped the pot root ball in a cube, cutting all roots off the outside(and bottom) like an inch in. Then microbes and he threw it in a 5 gallon pot, now we wouldn't be transplanting well be cutting like 2 inches off the root mass all the way around and replenishing the removed root mass with new healthy diet in the pot.

I have a bit of a way to strengthen your stems, grab the middle of your plant at a node, then grab a bit higher with your other hand, hold tight with the bottom and spin the plant back and forth (one way more than the other) as to give the stem a "spiral" do this everyday or everyother, and if you hear the cell walls "crack" (you know the sound) stop and give it like 3to 5 days, then keep going. U gold the middle node of your choice then work to the very tip of the stem ur working main branch w/e, once u reach the top u should be able to twist that tol or end shoot a few times bc now the whole length of the stem is spinning, up to your holding spot. As you work up the stem for your fist time watch yourself, you may have to go node by node depending on the strength of the stem, this will not work with brown stems, not like that. Ull get a nice spiral down your stem, it's cool with the bonsai I think ( I do this to all my stuff)

Was a bit bored so worked on 2 pots for a better oxygenation and double cup method (10-10-10 solution at bottom), to see if it makes a significant difference

So looks like some sorta homemade hydrosetup technically, u made a net pot and set it in a reservoir.
I would suggest capping off the sides and any part that sees light, it'll turn green on you with algae if too much light gets in there. You could just throw a airstone in there with a fishtail air thing too, I prolly would.

So in the meantime i am trying my best to at least have a big rooting system and thick main stalk so that in mid March ladies would be totally adjust and grow BiG!, at least thats the idea! Just wanted to play a bit with DWC and Hydro101… will post pics and you tell me
