How is your Bonsai coming along by the way? Look at mine, i shaped her and she is growing

I haven't done much in the way of bonsai as of yet, atm I'm working with some tissue cultures doin meristems, seed recovery etc, I figure growing a small plant out of a petri dish will be alot easier they start off so small... I'll share some pics later today, it's a pain to take a pic bc your contaminating yourself.
So to say the least I've been slacking on my training, kinda switched gears midgame I guess lmao,
I been training the truffle lol not a bonsai lol little by little lmao

I'm trying dude... im learning alot, I didn't think pictures would do justice, not yet anyway, all it is is chunks of plant in agar lol not that interesting yet lol somethings I can't even get a picture of without a microscope lol, I'm not trying that with my shaky ass lol

Whats New… Registered myself for 2 competitions, so guys register if interested quickly!!!

Also had the idea to use my leftover pistachio shells at the bottom of my pots. So made 2 pots for fun.

And tried a new batch of fungi, but this time in open air (aerobic) and added grains, sun dried fruits (hoping the have some sort of fungus or yeast on them), dead leaves and a soup of veg and fruit peels. Lets see if I can somehow cultivate some beneficial fungus, to add to my microbes in the soil.

I have also made my own liquid fertilizer for the dwc system. I made a lentil sprout tea, aloe vera tea, and a solution of 10-10-10 +TE (gave 5-5-5 to seedlings and 10-10-10 to mature plants)

Well after coming back from ceramic class, I smoked a J and went for a crazy job.

I took out all the soil out of my 35L pots (5 pots in total), saw that the bottom of the pots were a bit wet and the soil heavy. So drilled more holes, filled 1/2 with top soil (soil made for 6months), put 2 fish in the middle, then put back the half wet soil on top. Took me a few hours.

Now I am waiting for my fungi and microbes to develop, will make some Lacto B. to spray on soil and other stuff.

All 5 pots of 35L will be ready in June for the babies to be transplanted in Persian Farmer’s Magic Soil

I got lazy and did not do any preparation as such. To speed up decomposition, I puree as much as possible and throw some pieces here and there for slower decomposition. Like I do with eggshells. I put slower decomposition stuff, coz I use 50-60% if my used soil.

Also I am in an apartment, and cannot make smelly stuff, but I used to make my own Fish Emulsion by adding all the fish scraps and skins (skin is really good) in a bucket, some powdered forest dead leaves and branches (works better than sawdust as more living organism), a bit of Lacto B and molasse. Let stay, the longer the better.

if you were referring to fish scrap, I would make a puree and make a layered lasagna with soil, fish and lacto b. let it stay somewhere in a warm and shady area far from animals.

And save some to make a great fish emulsion…I always think that Marijuana are like athletes and must give them fresh food. Branded fertilizers are a bit like processed food for me, I prefer to give fresh food…So making your own fish emulsion is way better than buying some, same goes for Molasses

Hello Farmers,

Went to check in my vermicompost lasagna, and just after 2-3 days some fungi are forming, so it does work! Yeah!

Also for molasses, as I had some apples going bad, I decided to make Apple molasses and then feed the babies with 1tspn to 1L water

Freaking XDOG x UEL is now officially smelling like a ripening Melon!!!

Yeah i hear you but if you can make fish emulsion, or fish scrap in soil, it is great stuff. Also kelp and seaweed and seabird & bat guano (if you can find)

So today I made lunch for mum, so another cooking 101 session. Made a spinach spaghetti with some creamy shrimp mango pineapple curry & mushrooms.

Well guess what I am going overboard with this fungi story oh boy!!! I chopped the tails of the mushrooms, pieces of ginger and garlic with black spores, and fed them to my culture

What a Day!!!

Started with lots of reading and net surfing on the subject of Microbes. Well I found out that the most important is to target the Rhizosphere and Necromass soil!!!

So I am focusing on Rhizosphere and Necromass. Went for a walk in the afternoon and hunted for dead leaves, roots and decayed matters around trees. And finally hunted around 100 worms.

Came home, added the decaying roots and matters half away in two 1.5L bottles and filled it with River water. Let it sit for a few days and I got my Rizosphere and necromass microbes in a liquid serum

Then I mixed a bunch of dead leaves and veg and fruit leftovers and made a puree for the worms to feed on….Man they loved that, like it was Caviar…Never seen worm stretching so much for food.

I think I will do 2-3 more fruit and veg puree, add a bit of chicken and other manure, and add my super charged vermicastiing and will let it sit till June to cook (will water the soil with Lacto B. and molasse tea 1-2 times in between, to keep the soil moist and very active).

Finally took a pic of the babies on the balcony and imagined what will they look like in September…Maybe a mini Amazonian Forest I hope.

My Supersoil is almost done!!! 5 pots of 35L of pure microbial, fungal, and living Gold mine!!! At least I hope

Will add more veg and fruit puree to feed the worm and the microbes alive, and thus a constant active soil for the only purpose of feeding the Queens!!
