I guess that they are Springtails..

They come in a bunch of shapes, sizes and colors...

They might be a different species than what was in my closet plant ??

I finally got 12 more LED strips installed in the closet...

The 12 new strips are 5000k, the same as the ceiling strips.

I put two coats of conformal gel on the strips to protect the LED segments.
I think that should work fine, but I think if any leaves touch the segments, they might get burnt ?

It sure is bright in there now. Lol

The 12 new strips are on their own Ammeter/Voltmeter, so I can keep an eye on the 12 strips separately.

The meter on the right is for the new strips.

Now I can start a new seed for the closet planter.

I like your style man! Pretty close to mine, with electronic gadgets and all that.
Also sending good vibes to the little seedling!

Thanks exploziv!! :thank you:

My closet is beaming pretty bright right now. Lol

My next plant is probably going to be completely purple.
I like the purple colors though.

The seedling seems to be doing OK, I'm quite curious to see what's going to happen with her.

I wonder if she will consume the stalk, or grow into it, or sprout roots through the side of the stalk ?

Pretty soon I'll be starting an outdoor plant.
I'll grow it indoors to start and normally it's safe to transplant outdoors on the May 24th long weekend, when the risk of frost is over.

I found some soil mites living in my closet planter, so that's good news.

They are still there doing their thing.

I managed to get some pictures of them.

It's really difficult to get a picture, especially with the jewelers loupe.

It would be a lot easier if they weren't running around. Lol

I've got a new seed started.

It's another Grapefuit Kush from Fitzera.

It's been in the shot glass for 20 hours now and has cracked open, with the tap root ready to emerge.

The baby is just hopping with Springtails. Lol

I don't mind at all.

I read that Springtails break down dead organic matter and help make nutrients available to the plant.
They can also deliver fungus to the roots which allow the roots to absorb nutrients, while the fungas feeds off the sap in the roots, so they both benefit.

And Springtails are considered the most numerous bugs on the planet.

I feel that the leaves growing on the edge of the plant are drawing nutrients up through the roots, keeping the plant alive ...

I want to keep the stalk alive...

I figure that if my old stalk stays alive, it can feed nutrients to the baby plant...

If my old plant is a female plant, she may have the maternal instinct to take care of a baby plant ???

Awwww..... lol...
