I think he meant capital D Delta in math which is difference. He did use lowercase d and is different in math. If he meant lowercase he can explain it. LOL! I can't.

I think he is saying the difference in day/night temps the lowest temps should be during flowering.

It would be better for him to explain. I like puzzles though. LOL!

Thank you for the response. She is really liking the cool temps. Right now she is growing about 2 leaf sets a day, really beautiful big, long finger leaves, and branching beautifully.:plant grow:

minimum difference of day and night temp :tiphat:

if the night is very cold - for one hour before light turning on - just heat the box/room, it will help cope with condensate in buds

I do understand what you mean about condensation with this strain. I was experiencing what I believe is referred to as (Guttation) where the edges of the leaves sweat at night and leave what looks almost like dried white sap around the edges. I first thought it may have been P.M. but it was just dried water marks. Anyhow, thank you.

Ahhh..got it.
So far I thought it`s good for the plants to have a difference in temperatures day and night...of course not to big but 8 degrees should be fine I´ve heard...no?

Also try to only raise the temperature 1 degree an hour so that the plant temperature doesn't lag behind the room temperature, this will also cause condensation.

My Panama is in the 2nd week of flowering, after about a 3 week VEG, in 3 gal pot, under 450w LED. Its about 4 feet tall, and is starting to shoot out pistils. How tall is it going to get by the end of flowering if its already 4 feet tall?

Imho I would say expect another foot of stretch with that potsize in that flow stage. Altogether, Panama is one of the more compact pure Sativas, you should be fine ;)

Another foot. Panama is a big girl. Very healthy thick stem, with broad leaves. I hope this is the "GREEN" phenol.... I probably should have topped her, but I just wanted to see what was in the seed!

Anyone who grew up in the late 70's, but early 80's especially. Question. This more for west coast folks. What was the "Red hair ses (Sensemilla) that used to go around in the early 80's? It was not seedy brick Mexican. It was seedless and had red hairs big time. About 80 bucks an ounce. I always wondered the origin of that weed.

Probably punto rojo which has red hairs. But idk if all the Punto Rojo phenotypes have the red hairs. Some Panama's also have red hairs

The panama is in jars, is losting the green strong aroma and now is more soft
lemon and a little pineapple, I am tasting congo point noire outdoors and it`s similar to this one in smell congo going a little floral, both very different to skunk and skunk hybrids like critical in flavour and effect, sativas more clean and less narcotic, are different worlds, I was intrigued because always smoked skunk or hybrids and now I am discovering these old sativas and I must admit that I prefer the effect of these ones, the smell and flavour I prefer skunk hybrids indoor, it`s true that are selected clones so maybe there are selected clones of panama that win in this department too, I can`t do it indoor so my question to ace, do you send selected clones to grow outdoors that would me awesome¡¡ hehe

Cheers
