Looking lovely and very well developed by the 3rd week of September @Eastcoastcookies that's usually the week we harvest PCK here at 39ºN. Yours looked like they just needed 2 more weeks since the pics were taken. Have you already harvested them? Curious to know your opinion on Purple PCK vs Violeta

I prefer the purple PCK effects over the one Violeta that I ended up with , Although I would really need to do a complete indoor run of just PCK for me to bring out the best of that pheno .
The Violeta is definitely one of the prettiest plants iv ever grown . Beautiful purple very frosty nugs with a blueberry chewing gum haze like smell and slight uplifting effects . I sent a cut to a buddy so its still around but I cant keep them all . I will probably keep my PCK and one of the purple fruity MxPCK ‘s - It turned out to be the most terpy of the bunch .
All of these strains deserve a proper pheno hunt of at least a full pack or so . I was rushing and didnt think it thru . I should have started more beans when I did . I do have more packs on the shelf .

Last look at the PCK clones on the deck.

Look ok from a distance but this has not been my season for the PCK. Lost a few in the garden late in the summer then these were looking good until about half way through. It was about that time that we had two tropical systems that caused rain and endless days of drizzle and fog. Just got the sun back about a week ago. Rainy damp weather killed all the pistils in the buds yet no indications of rot. What ended up causing the issue is an infestation of aphids and bud worms. Plants are literally covered with aphids that I have no way of controlling now. Have taken 1 down, rinsed off what I could and froze it thinking I would try running bubble with it. Really tempted to just chuck them. Any suggestions?

Talk more about these bud worms please. Like what do they look like etc? I'm asking because I get them too and fucking fuck them dead! As I trimmed the harvest over these last two days I was feeding them to the lizards that came and visited.

No suggestions as I am in the same boat. Both my kali china's and a violeta were devistated by caterpillars and now my Panama haze has some on it. Have been picking them off for weeks now
Never been this bad for them before.would also like to get any tips

That's really sad to hear because the PCK grow was looking great @Knothead To control worms is important to spray with bacillus thuringiensis just after the heavy rain episodes. Aphids can be taken under control before going deep into flowering. After removing the parts affected by fungus, you still can use the other flowers for ice o lator hash if it was finally seriously infected.

Pretty impressive healthy PCK males @Mountainkush Big male flowers on all of them.
Four purple (more or less) males and one green, if I'm not mistaken.
Unless you have air conditioning for the grow, the pigmentation is probably not as intense due to the high summer room temperatures.

Looking forward to learning more from the female counterparts.

I was pretty happy with the way they all looked. You are correct, I had one that stayed completely green and the other 4 had different levels purpling on the stems and flowers.

Finally was able to flower the females in the fall and just started sampling them. Pretty tasty and nice relaxing effect I’ve come to love the last few years.

Turned full purple about halfway through with a delicious dark berry smell and taste.

This one was the most green in the end. The scent on this one is a bit offensive (in a good way) and hard to describe. Opening the jar gives off a mentholated rubber smell initially but something really complex comes out when broken up.
