I ended up with 5 males and 4 females this run. The females have been topped and are currently waiting for space in my flower tent.

The last photo looks like a green pheno . If you get a green female pheno, cross those two. The green is the best in my opinion. I'm not concerned with colors. You'll still get colors from the cross as it takes a few generations to really breed out the color. And it can always show up later but won't be as prolific.

That's what I would do but I have a preference for the green pheno which is much less common.

PCK is a spectacular strain to use for developing strains. People are using it without giving credit to ACE/Cannabiogen for the genetics. You're guaranteed purple weed. It's nothing special these newer seed suppliers are doing. They're just walking in the path of those that came before. But they're making new maps and leaving the actual route out of their history. It's shameful but that's the cannabis world.

Hey xtsho,
I couldn’t agree more as that was my plan. I’m hoping for a green female to do a one to one pairing and I’ll also pollinate each with the green male separately for a better chance of more greens in the future. I also have another 10 seeds from this pack to try to find a nice green female in the future. The rest of the pollen I just mixed together to pollinate each lady.

I’ve only grown a couple of the fem seeds before this run but found a really nice green one I enjoyed a lot. That was the first seed I started after joining here and why I picked my user name. I was growing pck and live on a mountain top.

Hey guys, I forgot to update last year.
In the end, I got some nice plants and managed to get some seeds. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to pop them this year. So I will have to wait another year. Maybe I should try a germination test.
I think that I had waited too long to collect the seeds because some started germinating on the live plants.
I'm quite happy with the results though. Nice berry and incense smell. Even my mum commented on the berry smell. And there was no mold at all, unlike the blueberry plant I had next to them.

Cheers

Pretty impressive healthy PCK males @Mountainkush :) Big male flowers on all of them.
Four purple (more or less) males and one green, if I'm not mistaken.
Unless you have air conditioning for the grow, the pigmentation is probably not as intense due to the high summer room temperatures.

Looking forward to learning more from the female counterparts.

Thanks for the final update on your PCK greenhouse grow @sensyganja420

The green male was really tall and vigorous. The purple female is one of the classic colorful phenos.
You should get a good amount of variety in your next generation of seeds.

This year I grew out 12 seeds of PCK, and got 5 females and 7 males. I open-pollinated them all but forgot to take pictures of the males before I cut them down.

Here are pictures of the females from September 6.
The fingers help me keep the order straight when I upload from phone to computer. I need to make tags.

I have never tried it but I'm looking forward to the day I can. What differences did you notice between the green and purple?

One plant has been harvested already, pic from a week ago

IMG_0123.jpeg

Couple more that will fall before any bad weather
IMG_0141.jpeg

Hurricane Debby folded all of them over and theyhad to be propped and tied and taped back up. The smaller on the right was fully green a couple of days ago but unseasonably cool temps in the 40s added some color although some colas are still green
IMG_0142.jpeg

Big one more color. Buds on this one are huge

For those of you with knowledge of this cultivar, I am experiencing problems I can’t explain but I’m sure some of y’all can. I’ll show you a shot from a month or so back…pre Debby

Three of the plants upon starting to flower just seemed to die, no obvious signs of pests or disease. They did get disrespected by the storm but they all did. If you look closely the plant right against the corn is almost invisible because it is the same color. That plant incidentally was so purple the main stem was almost black. Could not get the clone from that one to survive, my cloning skills suck! The clones from the other two are alive and thriving on the deck.

Man , we had a few large plants have something similar happen this year . Its heartbreaking . Never seen this in 30 years . They went from big dark green and healthy to wilted in 2 days . We had some kinda insects that ended up in the stalks of the biggest woody stems . Didnt affect the smaller ones in 10/15 gallon grow bags . Just the biggest ones in the ground of course 😪
Those ones on the deck look great !!

Just went out to the garden after reading your post and pulled up the plant that checked out first….plant pulled from the ground like it had no roots. No insects or damage from insects that I could see. Plant had been looking dead for a while so I decided to try one of the ones that still had some green in the buds….pulled as easy as the fully dead one! Next I tried the stalk left from the one I harvested last week….not wanting a hernia I gave up without budging it an inch!
Don’t know if it’s insects or disease but it’s certainly one or the other.

Hoophouses and greenhouse often necessitate harvesting the seeds quickly, or at least raising the sides a bit to keep the humidity low

Check your main stalks. Any signs of bugs in there?
Corn borer has been hitting the US real hard the last 2 yrs, kills the plant real quick.

Sorry for your loss - this is devastating
