Funk .... I like the airpots, they are 5 liter pots. They do need watering more often but it goes well with my mutliple times per day repeat cycle timers ... that I have on my irrigation system.
They just got another ACT drench. I think Im going to have to start feeding them my neptunes fish/seaweed and molasses to keep them going. I think the soil is starting to loose its umph. Next time Ill know to mix it a little stronger because I think they've depleted it and Im going into the most productive weeks now.
Thanks man... I'm really enjoying themand already planning what I'm gonna run next.
On the ACT I use molasses, a handfull of worm castings from my worm bin, a small amount of tomato tone (it has beneficials in it), and some liquid kelp. Then I blast it for 24 hours with my monster airpump until its foaming over the lip.
Fd - I would be fkn pumped if that happened. Not gonna hold my breath though I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch. We'll see!
Arthritis ... I might do that. I have a whole bottle of neptunes fish/seaweed, liquid kelp and molasses though so I may just feed em with that. ill look into the guano though I've heard good shit about it
The most flavor an potency I have ever grown came from this stuff. I ran LC's soilless mix#2 with teas of these guanos an liquid karma, molasses, kelp meal, an ewc bubbled for 48 hours.
Ya I'm thinking I may go pick up a bag of it and do a top dress.
Also, I just realized ill be out of town from day 55-59 and I have to chop em all at once this time so I either have to take them at day 54 (or earlier) or day 60 (or later).
I'm not really sure what I'm gonna do....I guess ill just have to look at the trichs at day 53/54, see how they look... and decide then.
lookin good mang, gonna be a nice lil run... Im starting bloom tonight or tomorrow, just puttin on the finishing touches, last minute light proofing and shit..
Gracias. I noticed there were some leaves down below dying so I took them out for a final trim job, I took a buttload of pics.... hope everyone doesnt mind pics but Im posting the crap outta them lol.
I cut off any weak fan leaves and any little side branches that were budding way down below that wouldnt amount to much anyway.
First up is sweet tooth plant "A". Its looking to be the most frosty, and the biggest buds so far out of my sweet tooth #3 plants. To be fair though, its older then both my other sweet tooth plants as it sprouted first, not only that but it is directly underneath the HPS whereas the other two sweet tooth plants are off to the side getting less light. Still, Im keeping this plant and my sweet tooth plant "B" to run again, and then Ill make a final decision on which one to keep :
Heres sweet tooth plant "B". As mentioned, its a little younger, however... it is ALWAYS happy. I had a mishap with my irrigation system and they got overwatered. Pant A was droopy and not happy... plant B never stopped reaching for the stars! Throughout this entire grow .. Ive never ONCE seen its leaves not reaching straight up. Its extremely hardy. Im going to run it against plant A next grow side by side, both in good light and of the same age to make a final decision on which will become my permenant mom:
Next is the runt of the entire tent. Sweet tooth plant "C". It didnt get a fair trial at all. It sprouted like 10 days behind the other plants, plus its getting the least amount of light because its so short. However, sweet tooth plant A and B are just to far ahead of the game and for better or worse Im not giving C another run.
......... and heres my heavy hitter. Serious Seeds AK 47. Ive read that its not near as good as it used to be, and time will tell once I smoke her. For now, however, shes killing it, stacking up buds like no bodies business. Shes showing a bit of a deficiency and I think I got it handled now. Just gave them another heafy feeding of fish/seaweed/kelp.
Last but not least my blue widows. They are the tallest of the group, and I have a feeling they will take longer then all the other plants combined. Im hoping not to much longer because Im going to have to chop the whole tent at once.
Blue widow plant "B". Both blue widows are pretty close, with plant A possibly edging out plant B. Im not going to keep either of these even though they look good. I just have to many other genetics to work with.
