Great looking girls OZZ_. I love it when growers give a status report on each of their plants. Gives others a chance to compare phenos or get an idea of genetics. Glad to see that Sweet Tooth B that I chose way back on page 1 is still a front runner
I get what you're saying about having to chop them all at once and just hope that they're all in the peak harvest window. They've still got a couple of weeks left so I'm scared to see what they'll look like at the end!
SWT "A" has much bigger buds and is frostier ... but as I mentioned its older then plant "B" and is sitting directly under the light where plant B is off to the side.
Next run Im going to take a clone from A and B and have them in the middle spots so theres no age and light difference. Ill make my final decision then.
Luckily, none of these sweet tooth's showed any autoflowering characteristics which I hear is common with the strain. I even had them rootbound for a good month before transplanting... so much so they were drooping their leaves (except for plant B, its never drooped once!).
The only one that autoflowered on me was the male ... and I got rid of it before it could ruin the party.
I have a bit of a problem though, I popped one bean each of jackberry, DC x SD, and super skunk thinking I might get a single female. They all ended up being female so now I have three more plants that are sitting right at 12" now ... and Im still at least a month out from harvest lol.
I guess Ill just keep hacking them back until the flowering tent gets chopped.
Im half tempted to take my AK and SWT moms and put them in the closet, and use my current veg tent to just flower out the other plants now so I dont have to wait. Ill have two tents flowering at once lol.
ya that AK is by far the heaviest yielding of the bunch its in the last pic in that post above. It even showed a deficiency early on and is now starting to yellow a bit early at five weeks. I keep hitting it with fish/seaweed to get it through this grow but next time ill know she's a heavier feeder.
Tomorrow will be week 6 and most all the plants are starting to yellow. The AK has been yellow almost all the way through and its still looking to be the heaviest yielding.
Is it too soon to have them yellowing up or is it about the right time?
I know on that AK she was underfed because she's been yellow for a few weeks but the rest are just now starting to yellow and turn some of their pistils orange. if I'm going to take them at 60 days or so that puts me a little over two weeks until harvest.
I was planning on hanging for a week then jarring and burping them. My climate is really dry though so I've been trying to figure out how to slow the hang drying down.
I figure ill hang them on hangers with a upside down trashbag and just leave the bottom of it open. A little trick a buddy told me about to help slow drying in dry climates.
