Kinda surprised that I haven't found any yet. I am only on day 13 12/12 , but this plant has been stressed for sure. Brought it back from the grave at the second or third node 5 months ago with only one leaf left, and broke a few whole branches off during heavy l.s.t. in veg. Dropped and shattered a 80 watt CFL on it back in January, and burned a few buds and leaves completely off during the first few days of flower stretch.. at the point now where I can't even reach more than a few inches back in there, due to space being completely filled from scrog to roof... Running screw in LEDs and have been zapped by exposed chips and electrodes 4 fucking times reaching way back in there...got a trail of Browning pistils down the canopy from trying to squeeze my arm over to the back. So even if there is a few herms hiding in there I think I might be hard pressed to find em.

Branhsnapper, if you broke a large CFL on a plant or on its soil then I would get rid of that plant and the soil. There's mercury in CFL lamps.

Brown thumb. Totally. Had a clamp fixture fall and crush it, then bounce out of a smaller cabinet to the edge of the bench it was on, and broke, shooting arcs in my face as I was sitting on floor. Like 2 inches in front of my face. Totally freaked, ripped my shirt off and jumped in the shower like I just spilled plutonium down my shirt. fully aware of Mercury dangers, and that was the turning point, the end of all CFL bulbs in my house.

All my herms were down low and were where the pre hair/calyxes pop out. Werent mixed into the bud. Haven't seen any more. see a couple seeds forming though.
6 more seeds to pop throughout the year.

Some bagseed I got from a friend, he claimed it was purple haze. It was very purple and smoked nice and we found a number of seeds.

They got about a week of 24/0 and then went straight to 12/12. The small ones are only a few weeks old. A little bit of LST so everyone's closer to the lights.

Hey guys,
first I want to thank every contributor to this epic thread, hats off to you🤗
Inspired by this thread I want to build my own household led grow.
I've been running Hans panels for a couple of years with good results. But now I only have one panel left, so it's time for an update.
One thing I hate about panels is the hole shipping process you go through with buying, repairs and replacing units.
So household leds are the way to go for me.

I imagine a setup with 2 shelves for flowering (making side by side experiments possible) and 1 shelve (top shelve to avoid too much moisture travelling up thru flowering shelves?) for vegging and clones.

My available space is 86 inches high and each shelve will be 37 inches wide and max. 16 inches deep.

My initial question is, how many sockets for each flowering shelve and in what pattern do I mount them to be most effecient?
I know it depends on which bulbs I'll use, but a combination of affordable and high wattage. Probable in the 10+ watts range.

I hope some of you with a few succesful grows, can answer my question and/or give a good advice about any obvious flaws in my plan.
Thank you

FEIT FAVES!

This thread is quite sexy! Idk what this stuff is cultivars wise......i just grab seeds and pop em! No need for fancy names for me as long as my plants are happy!
These lights help in that endeavor!

Upgraded my setup today by getting rid of the chinese ufo in the top vegging section as its coverage was very poor. Replaced it with another rack of 8.5w 806 lumen led bulbs, using 12 this time for a nice even spread and a total wattage of 102w or 24w square foot.

I will maybe add a small seedling section in some of the empty space on the filter side of my growdrobe with a single bulb in it to keep electricity costs down for the first 3 weeks or so before putting them in the veg section.

Some pics are below, the bottom section has some plants which have just hit week 6 flower and have 3 or 4 weeks left. Maybe a little longer for the one on the right is it started flowering quite a bit later than the other two.
