I am glad your still alive i hope, if you smell somthin burning panic, n if you don't have a fire extinguisher yet buy two keep one by the front door so if you come hme to a fire you can fight it keep the other next to where you sleep so if you wake to a fire you can fight your way out and warn your neighbors about there impending doom, should cost about a hundred bucks, you want to shoot at the base of the fire and sweep back and forth, you will only have seconds its not like the movies where extinguishers last forever 10 seconds maybe. God have mercy on you.

treeking i think that is a good idea. I've never used a premade lighting controller. I believe they sell them with all sorts of different options. I'm pretty sure you can buy them ready to plug in with both 110 and 220 volt receptacles for your ballasts. I'm pretty sure I've seen some sold with extra receptacles that you can probably power your AC off of. or maybe not if you said it was a 30 amp circuit.

some basic electrical safety tips that you should know before you start this.
anytime you make an electrical connection. first twist the wires together then use wire nuts to connect the wires and electrical tape to tape those on. put all electrical connections inside of a sealed enclosure preferrably metal. then the wires need to be secured so that if they somehow get snagged or pulled on the connection won't come loose. a lot of time there is a screw down wire clamp that comes on(or should be added to) junction boxes and sub panels or hard wired lighting controllers.

all of that is to protect from the sparks that are caused by the 2 wires touching each other and shorting out. those sparks (or 'contact arc' are supposed to be capable of burning at about the temperature of the sun so it's really easy for them to start a fire.

you mentioned that there is the high average outlet very near your room. would you be able to have the ballasts in that room as well? having the ballast in that room can help control garden temperature as well as make it easier to wire or choose which controller you want.

good luck.

they didn't build the apt. around it. it should slide out but it's gonna be heavy. a hand truck would be nice but most people don't have em.

the second picture in post 123 is the water supply and drain for the washer. it will have a shut off valve in there for both the hot and cold water.

are you planning on running wires through any walls? are you good at doing drywall repair? before you move all that, you are sure that the dryer is electric right?

anything worth doing takes a lot of effort. i ran wires for dedicated outlets in my walls for every single piece of equipment I run. anytime I rearrange equipment I have to move outlets around. I go a little too far sometimes trying to perfect my setup.

yes im planning on running wires through the wall. i gotta setup 220v outlets in the bedroom across the hall where the grow room is gonna be. the drywall repair isnt a problem. im not 100% sure the dryer is electric but i think it it cause they wouldnt have built the outlet for it. the house got totally redone top to bottom before i moved in and im pretty sure they built the outlet and put in the washer/dryer themselves.

looks like we're in business 2 30's attached just like i thought. this means i could run 4 lights and a big ac off this right? and yes my washer and dryer are in my actual apartment 5 ft from my new grow room

Hey.. Im no electrician, but are you sure you have 2 30's there? That looks like a dual pole 30 amp breaker to me. As in its 240V - 30 amps total.
If youre trying to run all this off of that 30 I suggest you stop now(Actually, for the record, Ive been telling you to stop since the beginning)
My 4(600W) light controller is 30A-240V & my AC is hardwired on a DEDICATED 20A-240V circuit. Everything else is split between different 20A circuits. My Light Control is ran by a digital timer that plugs into the same circuit as my fan so that if the fan trips the lights go out.
YOU DO NOT WANT TO RUN CONSTANT AT MORE THAN 75% LOAD!
Ive read the LG AC warnings that say you should never use an extension cord to run this unit and it must be installed on a dedicated circuit. Its 9.2A

Wow, just wow, what a thread.
Some nice people have given some good advice about being safe with electricity.
Plus reputation to ALL of you trying to keep fellow growers safe.

Sadly I've seen this M.O. from TREE before. Come to the forums hat in hand and ask a question gets good advice, which he ignores and does whatever he was going to do in the first place, don't really see the point in wasting his and everyone’s time.

Then when it's pointed out multiple times by multiple people that what he is doing is putting his and others lives and property in great danger, you are just some tough guy shit talking on the interwebz. Completely unreal. Amazing that anyone bothers spending time typing up a thoughtful post to him anymore. Bless you all for putting so much effort into trying to teach him something, even if he refuses to learn, it may teach someone else who is reading along and save them and or there property.

As for TREE's new name on the forum maybe it should be changed to“FireStarter”.
This is song keeps popping into my mind while reading this thread, it can be TREEs new theme song.[YOUTUBEIF]http://youtu.be/g8D4AsLzlM0[/YOUTUBEIF]
