should be feminized seeds, yes.. how trustworthy that turns out to be, well, we'll see once their short and curlies start showing. good news is that the fourth seedling broke through today, really pleased about her making the effort, by my reckoning she should be the white widow..

herman the hermit is a practitioner of deep delving, i reckon between the two of you there's gonna be a fine abundance of some damn good medicine.

maybe i can finish the wife's tattoo.. although trim-time i think i'm gonna be wrapped up in new job. perhaps at next year's.

Cool. Say bye bye to your gnat problem. I use the same stuff @ 1 TBSP per gallon of spray solution with Yucca and kelp and blast them foliar to keep the moths, cats, etc., off em...That BMC is great shit..Where I go to buy it they always say You must have a big pond...

Its funny... in the big plant thread, when Butte asked us all how we could possibly have the time for so much socializing... I felt great about it. I was so far out ahead of things at the home grow, that I had all sorts of time on my hands... But this new challenge has me playing catch-up in a big way. It will be a major victory for everybody involved when the new garden is plugged... less than three weeks after first stepping foot on the property.

Hey Maad, heres my late plugging thread if you wanna click my signature link...

Planting so late, you think i still have a chance of getting over 2 per lady?

ohh i worked many a season with that plant. She is the best high ive found...super special. Doesnt look more than 7 or 8 out of ten but the high and yield if done right can exceed your biggest expectations. Get ready for some super heay head head stash...yankee i hope i can get a few of these next year,..you know why i miss it....
I hear that but what Nomaad has is a different cut. What he has is exactly the same NL#5 x Haze cut I got out of Oregon about 3-4 years ago. The two cuts don't even look close. I did not get to flower the cut I got though.

Hey Nomaad...the garden is looking good. Everything is all perky and happy. That new garden looks like quite the project. I'm sure it'll all come together just fine.

Lake County Code Enforcement came today and told me that a neighbor complained about a non-permitted structure on my property. The dome must come down. Bummer.

I had not decided what to do in there yet, but I was going to do something.

Haters. People are such massive douches sometimes.

At least they didn't make that call back in April..Wonder what they'll do when the blue dreams get dreamy? Do you think it was the same people as last year?

exactly... if they had come in april i would have been fucked. they may have actually made the call and code enforcement just got around to making the call. maybe I should not have left it uncovered most nights with the lights on. I kinda knew that was asking for trouble. i am going to replace it with 2x 200 sq foot greenies that do not require the same permits.

doesn't put a dent in my season, really.

lame about the dome! most building and planning codes are based off california building codes and allow "plant coverings" of plastic sheeting or shade cloth lightly framed structures up to 12' high without permits.

ok weird nevermind i just checked lake county building permit exemptions and i guess they lumped your greenhouse in with the accessory buildings regulations:

"One-story detached residential accessory buildings used as tool and storage
sheds, playhouses, detached carports and similar uses, provided the building
does not exceed 200 square feet, and there is no electrical, plumbing or
mechanical systems installed in the building"

i dont get the no electrical systems installed, would that mean wall outlets, or even just an extention cord running supp lights?

i was just researching building permit requirements. i spent a very uncomfortable 5 minutes on the fone today with the planning department trying to figure out what i can build without a permit, the guy was a certified donkey. turns out the 10x10 non-permit requiring buildings i was told i could build all day long only apply if the property has an existing home or building plans filed with the county. such bulshit, i cant even drop in a storage container without a permit. cant even have an rv on site without building plans or an existing home. and the county encourages narcing.

heh... thanks, guys. I am going to get permits applications in for a structure on my new piece... head em off at the pass. We have a current perc test, so it should not be a problem.

Hash Man... nice to see you bro. I try to let NOTHING fuck up the positive potential of each day.. At the end of it all, I'm healthy, thriving... my family is safe and healthy. That's what counts. The rest of it is just crap we choose to be attached to... or not. I love that dome with all my heart, but I bought an easily assembled and disassembled structure for good reason. I have not attachment to it standing where it is. Thankfully, as TG brought up, it completed its purpose before I was compelled to take it down.

The more I emulate the dynamics of water in my life, the better things go... As a river flows, water gets churned by all kinds of obstacles and impediments... its becomes chaos... but just a second later water is capable of coalescence... into perfect calm, filling whatever space it is given more exactly than any other substance.

Today, I will get water to my new garden. I will probably learn something new about life in the process. Have a good day in the garden, y'all.
