precicely. we're just going to add some dry mix. if I can find the Dr Earth in sufficiant quantities, I'm going for that. plus a bit of added kelp and some alfalfa meal. that should just about do it.

u can get bales of alfalfa hay at feed stores.... if you are going to be using a tractor and digging holes... i would buy a few bales and have the tractor mix them in with the soil.... i mixed some in with my pots and beds using a mantis ..............

no tractor, no holes. 200 and 300 gallon smarties. Alfalfa meal works very well. its relatively inexpensive and a 50lb bag handles about 20 pots.

25% of the pots are filled in the new garden. My major hurdle is getting the water from our well to the garden... not a short run by any means.

the home garden plants are all almost read (or been ready) for the Hortonova wrap and drape... only no Hortonova. I ordered it from the wrooong place, it would seem. Agricultural Solutions. As of tomorrow it will be a full week since I placed my order and I haven't received a shipping confirmation... order confirmation, yes... we'll have to wait till Monday morning to find out. If the item was out of stock or on backorder, I should have been notified and not been charged unless I specifically chose to wait.

PVGS is working its way back into my heart in a big way after the soil test fiasco from early spring. I made an order yesterday and it arrived today. They have come thru in big, unexpected ways in the last couple of weeks.

I prefer to do business with companies that ship same or next day... after that, its up to the shipping method I choose. This Hortonova experience with Agriculture Solutions has been unsatisfactory so far. if the stuff magically appears on Monday, we'll just call it a case of bad communication... but right now, I have 32 plants that need that product and no idea if its on it way or what.

rant: over.

working it to the bone this season. looking forward to some down time.

Glad everything is moving along and for sure you've taken on a lot this year...that's really an understatement though...lol.

Yeah i have the same problem with my hortonova wrap from agro as well. Placed my order a week ago and no shipping confirm or out of stock notification :(. My planbts have gotten to the point where i might have to wire cage the first round if it doesnt get here in a few days.

Maad i added 25 smarties yesterday with FFOF and FFHF, planting today as well. What will you be feeding the secret garden plants? Do you feed right away, or wait a few weeks till the plants take in the new soil and use some of its nuts?

Have you guys called them about the trellis? I used the phone and had the opposite experience. My order left within 24 hours. I never do online ordering to avoid what is happening to you guys...sorry for recommending them Nomaad, was hoping my good results would help you guys out...

Honestly... its my all-time favorite smoke. gonna be worth it to be smokin it all winter in tahoe.... ass deep in snow.

I was born and raised in Fort collins aka Ft fun... I went to rocky with all the jock's and sold them "collins cough" a longgg time ago like 1986ish?... It always came around xmas in jelly jar's wrapped in black tape... The cat's who grew that strain here, know all about the rat shacks!!! :artist: I can still get a OG cut I think... I just pass it up, It's time to rethink that... I got "here" this thread by clicking on your GH thread, we are building one...

That's so cool you dig my home town weed!

I'm back indoors hydro and my partner is building a GH for our out door needs... Peace hope to see ya around :tiphat:

nobody answers. i have left msgs. sent emails. but all over the weekend... we'll see how they handle it tomorrow morning. In the meantime, i bought a small roll to play with and got our first plant's trellis prototype installed.

some plants are a bit droopy... I think we've been overwatering since the drip system was installed. gonna back off till they look thirsty.

pics later.

mule420: nice one. the cough is an all time favorite. I am about to start pulling tarp on a motley collection of coughs that became overgrown in my indoor veg and just could not get enough light... one of the most vigorous strains ever.

i really wanted to make it in yesterday. big fail.

i have completely lost the plot, it would seem, because I am having trouble remembering a conversation that would have resulted in the "alien" (i am assuming its alien kush?) clone having my name on it. I feel bad, but I have completely spaced the events that led to this.

when I say downtime, i mean like 15 minutes laying on a hillside, watching the clouds and contrails. In my fantasy, I'd have an afternoon and a couple of margaritas on some new lawn furniture... watching my medicine mature... It will happen.

The difference in elevation from my well to my tanks is about 200 feet. I might just get a water delivery to fill my tanks and buy me a minute to sort the well out. seems like $ well spent. way I see it, you don't half-ass a well.

Glad everything is moving along and for sure you've taken on a lot this year...that's really an understatement though...lol.

Its going to be an amazing year!

Trellis prototype. 10' bamboo, a square of trellis over the top and e-taped onto the bamboos and 15 or so feet of trellis netting wrapped around. Seems to work well. Easy, lightweight. I love bamboo as much as I love ganja, and using one to support the other will always appeal to me. Tom, is this more or less what you were describing?

East Coast. 3 days into tarp pull.

West Coast. Tarp pull begins tomorrow.
