How come it is so difficult for everyone to see the human condition for what it is?

Or how we are all effected by it none the less?

Or the fabric of reality we are all subject to?

I was having a conversation with someone who was discussing the detriment of catholic upbringing and they attributed it to major dysfunction in their lives.

My comment was my parents rejected religion on the same grounds most people in this thread report.

They were both highly educated and very intelligent (both had masters my father had 4 masters degrees).

My comment to him was, funny because I used it to make the same case against my parents due to a lack of religious upbringing.

That simple example of reality illustrates the human condition.

I could go into great length about the details of the conversation or religion itself in these regards.

The reason I come at things from a completely different angle is because I don't read something and regurgitate it but I take a look at all variables and reconcile them geometrically.

The last part might sound fantastic but let me explain in simpler terms.

Most people think in linear fashion and with one or two variables in their mind at most.

I look at the whole of any system and arrange the given variables in accordance to the laws they are subject too.

In computers this implies something everyone can understand, and if you spend enough time observing human nature you can do the same.

Notice I don't demonize a mindset but question the use of it based on outcome, I don't demonize people but question how they treat humanity.

We all posses a humanity that is worthy of value and we all posses the capacity to see or deny the same in others.

Denial of the human condition is what people do who would rather benefit from exploiting the human condition by claiming ignorance of it.

We are sentient and cognitive of our own conscious so you can liken it to a car with air conditioning that doesn't work because the driver chooses not to turn it on.

and anti-theism is not a religion.
Atheism is the fastest growing religious demographic in the country,
Told you.

Your ignorance is absolutely stunning. I've never experienced ignorance on that level. Your attacks on "evolutionists" are both comical and pathetic.
Would you stop picking on him, Nimrod. You act just like a little heathen punk.

Does this make you feel better?

You haven't met my family. Intolerant, narrow minded, judgmental. "Holier than thou".
The arrogance of "belief".

My family was just the opposite growing up, my dad was a horrible father, dysfunctional, irresponsible, abusive pagan that destroyed everything he touched.
That was a long time ago, however. I'm 53 married to the same gal for 34 years, I'm self employed, she works for the government, I have three grown children that my wife and I raised in church whom are now married and contribute to society and I have three grand sons that I love and pray for growing up in the messed up world. I want my family to be positive influential earthlings bringing about good, which is how I raised them, and oversee to it.

Many church going/christian folk are a little lost in direction, granted, but without the church of the living Christ this place would be a lot worse off.
I go to church every Sunday, not necessarily because I enjoy it but because many folk need direction and to have a positive impact on my community for good, not evil.

Being a better Man, creates better Women, that creates better Children, that creates a better Community, which creates a better City, which creates a better County, which creates a better State, which creates a better Nation, which creates a better World.
It starts with me, and you.

Manhood is more than the ability to wear pants. It’s the ability to take divine truth and make it work in the home.

The problem with ‪Christianity‬ is not the number of Christians present in our ‪culture‬, but the lack of ‪disciples‬ permeating the culture.

Many folk are a bit confused on which way to go and what to do, which in turn creates chaos and dysfunction.
God bless.

Very well said. And I can't believe this thread is still alive.

Cheers to that Weird, you definitely tend to show disagreement in a very polite fashion. I tend to get snarky at times and regret it later of course.
Once I started questioning my own ideas, thoughts, opinions, points of view, etc, I realized quickly that I could only have faith in them, because the grim reality is, that I couldn't confirm or verify any truth or validity to them. I only had opinions of things I've learned or been taught to believe. All of the information I've taken in has been through the filter of 'Me'. With endless possible sources and amounts of information, and 7billion+ different filters, I had to come to terms with the fact that the reality I am experiencing is unique to anyone else's. This makes for near infinite possibilities, and depending on the strength of the ego, endless truths, or no thruth.
There will never be complete unabashed 100% truth until only one person is left in existence, but even then, he is sure to question himself at some point, so what in truth is truth? Knowing this, or I should say, having this opinion, I still let my ego get the best of me at times unfortunately, and can become defensive. Being defensive of course seems to be the root of all arguments. I suppose just about everyone posting on this thread has some feeling they're not sure about, or a shadowy spot in their heart or mind that could use a touch of luminosity.

I found this to be an interesting read.

Quantum physics states that everything in the universe is pure energy, differing only in rate of vibration.

We must understand that all things exist as energy even beyond the ordinary physical dimension to the realm where current scientific instruments cannot measure its rate of vibration. All things exist as energy from the lowest rate of vibration, the densest physical condensate of matter all the way to the highest rate of vibration in the universe, The Source, God. The Entire Universe is a Single Super Spectrum of Universal Energy.

Some people have the perspective that the physical universe of matter and energy was created and therefore may be destroyed. Information is uncreated and therefore indestructible and eternal. The bible says that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word is Information. Hence the concept of the x, y and z parameters of reality. Matter, Energy and Information (DNA, universal code, intelligent design).

But Einstein says that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It is merely converted from one form to another. The Universal Equation E=MC2 does not mean Matter is converted Energy. It means Matter is Energy.

Matter is Energy. Energy is Matter.

So actually, the physical universe was “created” merely by the process of energy changing from one form to another. The creation and cessation of all things physical is simply manifestation and unmanifestation.

Quantum physics states that something can actually come into existence only when it is observed. That means that something only exist because a mind first thought it into existence. Everything exists primarily as a quantum potentiality or Quanta. When something is observed, Quanta which is Energy come together to form subatomic particles, and in turn atoms, then molecules until finally something manifests in the physical world as a localized space-time event that can be observed by the five physical senses.

This Energy is also conscious and infinite, therefore it is actually Infinite Living Mind! Everything in the Universe has its being from this infinite intelligent Energy.

Imagine that every time this Intelligence moves or thinks an icicle is formed in the water, exactly corresponding to the thought. We might have countless numbers of icicles of different forms, colors and sizes but these icicles would still be water. If we could heat the whole mass, it would melt, and all the forms would again become fluent. Nothing would have changed but form. This is all there is to matter.

Matter is Spirit in Form.

Subatomic particles are simply energy packets. You are a cluster of energy, so is everything else. A cluster of energy is always in motion, moving and changing to form new configuration at every moment. The table that is in your dining room is not as solid as it appears to be. On a highly magnified level, you would realize that it is in constant flux, “losing” and “gaining” billions of energy packets, but intelligently maintaining the overall “look” of a table. There is a consciousness that keeps the energy in that particular form.

All Matter is Energy In-Formation.

When something is no longer observed by consciousness, it will cease to exist by unmanifesting back into a state of quantum potentiality or Quanta, Energy. That’s the reason why the bible says that it is Christ (The Superconscious), who holds all things in the universe together. Scientist says that all the electrons and subatomic particles of an atom are held together in their precise position and orbit by an invisible force, by which without it, everything would fall apart and reality as we know it, would cease to exist in an instant.

Christ the center of the universe, whose center is everywhere but circumference nowhere. Christ is the Superconscious, Information and infinite intelligence.

Ultimately all matter, energy and information are one and the same. All matter is energy, all energy is information. Information is thought, thought is consciousness.

Consciousness is Mind. The Universal Construct is Mind.

Mind is Reality. Reality is Mind.

The entire Universe from the Source, The First Cause, God is Energy vibrating relative to the frequency of The Source, The Source being the very centre of the Universe of Energy and the physical world being the outermost shell, the physical three dimensional Universe as observed by means of the physical senses, existing at the lowest rate of vibration and the highest density. The physical Universe of matter represents only a tiny fraction of the Universe of Energy and vibration in its entirety.

All Energy is influenced by thought and structures itself into taking form as an observable effect. Everything that happens, has happened and will happen in the entire Universe, first originated as a thought originating from the Mind of a Being, which in turn has its corresponding effect on Energy and becomes a corresponding and potentially observable effect.

The Ultimate act of Creation by the First Cause, The Source, God of the entire Universe in all its glorious spheres, planes and dimensions originated in the very beginning as a thought in the Mind of God. It can be truly said therefore that we all exist as “expressions”, within the Mind of God, made in the true Spiritual image of God.

So by seeing things from a unified perspective, we know that the physical state of matter and energy are “created and destroyed” by being converted from one form to another. All things preexist in spiritual form and are converted to physical form and back.

Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear”.

God is Mind. Mind is Totality.

The universe is created in the mind of God. The laws of the universe follow the laws of mind. Everything is made of pure energy which is consciousness. Consciousness creates everything and directs everything. By understanding the mind, we are able to understand reality. Mind is everything, and mind controls everything. That is why the universe is mental.

...the fabric of reality we are all subject to?

for REALS bro this is my BIG ASS complaint in this shit.

come plain, come plain, come plain.

for a moment this thread was making friends.. your boys growing their own carrots instead of the donkey dangling them on a stick. and it's the fucking shit that kills me.

shit is killer.

everybody, hold up your favourite shit and talk about it, and say, i belong to this kind of shit.

fuck shit. i don't know why the fuck everyone wants to burrow through shit all the time like a shovelnosed shitworm. maggots of beelzebub, the god that is a turd.

but what's anyone got to say! reference! some shit!

people could talk, but when they talk, they are like, this is some shit. it's not even fresh. why do people have to belong to it?

it's clear. there's you, and there's the shit. maybe your entire life is in some shit but you don't need to say it owns you. that's the shit, that is you, don't rub it all over yourself. be you, don't be some shit.

you know, it's like everybody gotta represent... what's wrong with presenting? why does it have to always be a representation?

that shit is for freemasons, they got the best kind of vintage secret exclusive shit, because epistemological solipsism.. you don't get any shit with that shit..

The fabric of reality we are all subject

That means the common denominator we cant deny

breathing
eating
shitting
fucking
love
hate
cognitive thought
compassion
apathy
life
death

I understand succinctly everyone's individual take because on my individual
trip my mind has wandered there and pondered the same things but at some point if they don't offer a benefit to embracing humanity I lost the use for them.

Embracing humanity started with me, and I did it without direct expectation but in faith that the humanity on those would respond.

And of course it did, as it does here, exponentially.

See, the biggest pattern in all of this is simple.

Some people use their beliefs to blame and condemn others while doing nothing to change the world around them because their beliefs are cast in stone

Some people use their beliefs to invest faithfully in mankind around them and enjoy a return on their investment.

It is harder for the first group to become a member of the second, but not impossible.

What is set in stone is people's inability to see past the difference long enough to appreciate the underlying patterns in our humanity that exist none the less.

The church of self is the lord and savior of the material world, and those who attend find a deep and reverent need to judge each others worth based on their material blessing.

For them both science and religion can be used to inflate the perception of one's self.

Another example of our similar human nature expressing itself the same way with differing catalysts.

Point is, we have all the tangible reality we need around us upon which to understand ourselves, but in order to do so you have to be focused on humanity, not just your humanity, but everyone's humanity, with the same measure of regard.

Using belief to justify indifference, malice or bias is simply not humanitarian.

Best part is even if you believe in humanitarianism, your still human and liable to betray your own mantra at some point or another due to the human condition.

dogmatic metaphors all have more than one interpretive meaning

one that calls to the narcissistic side and one to the humanitarian side

Because it is passover/Easter season and the question was asked earlier in the thread it would be quite apropos to share the metaphoric meaning of Abraham on the hill and the sacrifice of Christ and the how it evokes two meanings.

According to the Torah/old testament

God asked Abraham to sacrifice his perfect and one and only son.

According to the new testament

God sacrifices his perfect and one and only son.

Many are offended at the thought and find no real meaning in these passages regardless of belief.

That is one metaphoric interpretation, that one's own perfect creation is not worth sacrifice. This is the base reaction as is the desire to eat a reaction to hunger.

The second is that no one person is more valuable than the humanity that exists beyond them.

Abraham was of this belief, God was the catalyst to this belief.

God sacrificed his own perfect creation so we might know the true nature of the potential of our humanity.

Christ, the foundation upon which which were built, is synonymous with unconditional love.

You don't have to believe in God to see what the meanings are designed to evoke, you have to believe in humanity.

Something you can touch, see and feel. Something that very much creates the fabric of the reality upon which we all experience.

Everyone reading this is doing it as they process these words.

:) believe it or not

and again...fuck humanity. it's not such a credible or beautiful thing...is it?

now the mountains and the sun...I can believe in. heading out now...putting my ear plugs in...laying down the rhythm with my feet..and listening to my internal breathing. covering the miles...pushing pushing pushing...meditating into the terrain

you evolutionists jump to conclusions in your views of christians.huh sorta sounds like that evolution theory jumping to conclusions when really no one knows we were not there to see it happen

Personally I can't see why people have such a hard time merging religion and science. The only reason Christians seem to have a hard time with evolution is because they tend to think of Adam and Eve as looking just like people do in modern times. The bible didn't come with pictures and there is no part I'm aware of that gives a good physical description of either of them. All we got is that God created Adam in his image and that Eve was created from Adam's rib Okay maybe that means she was boney but other then that there is no description. :) So really Adam and Eve could have been anything, including some form of primate. Who is to say that God's vehicle of creation wasn't evolution? We know that at some point in history there was an explosion of diversity of life that evolved into the creatures we see today, even man. If God is all knowing, all seeing and all powerful as God is said to be then to create all life in a fairly short burst with an all seeing knowledge of what that life would turn into sounds just like the way an infinitely powerful God Being might go about it.
