thats cool. sup stevr - just got myself some liquid karma and it was some amazing shit. 2 plants that have had water/nute lock almost corrected 50% after getting a taste of karma. i'll never use a different nute. botanicare knows wtf is up. i think ill have to try that 'sweet' out too for enhancing the smell/taste

i wounder if it would work with my hyrdo tomatoes tryed gh flora 3 part did ok then tryed gf floranova and my plants are dieing seem this stuff only works well with MJ cloned my tomatoes and put 2 clones out door i dirt and there growing better than the hydros, took my mom and a clone i had going and put them in the box the ame day i harvested my last crop thats was that week all ready trund the lights down to 12/12c yesterday so 8 mo weeks and anouter harvest.but this harvest i am going after seeds i got some pollen from my fist grow male are good for some thing lol but any ways i am shutting down the box after this grow for a wile. then i am going to try some chemdawg c-99 i got from jlp hope they dont smell since i have no ordor controll.ok now got all my buds dry and got em curing did a smoke test and so far there not as good as last crop looks like i wayted to long to harvest. said part is you get a nice stone but it dont last long at all and has no taste but smoke s smooth. so i quess i will have to go get me a real mirco scope that radio shack scope to me sucks never seen any more than 2 amber tricks with it and then i tryed to clean the lens with achouol and i f- ed it up but it was messed up from the day i got it got some kind of glue on the lens.but the achoul didnt get it off but made it very blurry to see tru.but with this strain i think 9 weeks is the time to chop her not 12 weeks. but looks like i got close to 4 oz this haul still have not weigh it but got some buds in a freezer bag sorry didnt have any more canning jars and weight it and it was just over 2 oz. i think this box worked better running one plant instead of 2 i didnt get the big ass coke can size buds this haul to me looks like i didnt have anought light or may be my light is getting to old this is my 4 th grow with the same blub.

Cool man. Firstly - I just want to say - that was a bit of a difficult read. No offense by any means, but you really should throw in some more periods every now and then. :smoke: I kept getting confused. :chin:

Anyhow - sorry to hear about your last crop. That was really confusing as to why it developed well in some areas and not others. I think there's a number of things that could have caused it. :chin:

The first thing that crossed my mind was nutrients. Now I dont know if you can come up on a bit of cash, but you can get the same nutes I have from most hydro shops. It's botanicare pure blend pro. I have the grow and bloom. With the results I have seen, I don't think i'll bother trying anything else for a long time. For example - I just fed my seedlings their last 2 waterings with a new nutrient by botanicare (kind of like a vitamin suppliment you use with with ferts) called Liquid Karma. I'm not joking - between the first watering in the morning at 9am and when I got home at 9pm - there was a full inch of growth. Seedlings were at day 40. My last several crops also I noticed some HUGE improvements after starting the grow/bloom nutes. They truly are amazing. Even with all the stress my inexperienced ass put them thru. I got some really really nice buds that totally wow'ed a lot of my fellow smokers. All from a cheap strain at nirvana. Durban Poison.

I got my quarts of bloom/grow/karma for about 20$ each so you should be able to get them all for $60. I'm pretty confident they would do well with tomatoes too. I've heard that tomatoes typically uptake twice as many nutes as MJ does. I would totally give it a shot. The next product I buy from them I think will be clearex. It totally flushes out the nutes in your system for the last 3-5 days of your crop by using it and apparently its also good to use every 3 weeks anyway. That my complete my plant food line unless I find out that I can use some other stuff they make with it. I used to think that it was all BS and just any nute would do - but after trying pbp i'm a believer for sure. My conditions have always been out of wack and its insane how they're rebalanced by using these nutes. Low humidity, high temps, bad air circulation, over nute, over water, under nute/water... Poor MJ girls.. I abuse them during life and after! LOL

Wow - major tangent - anyway that was my theory based on what you have told me in the past. Aside from that - I doubt your bulb is bad already. I think it's got another 2-4 crops left in it. I figure you use at least 672 hrs of lights on @ 12/12 per 8 weeks. 4 crops would be 2,688 hours used. I think my bulb said it's supposed to do like 10,000 hours. I dont know if theres a big difference, but its a 150w HPS Conversion. That way I can use my 175w MH during the short 1-2 weeks of veg at the start.

Lastly - I think pH can do some real good. I don't remember exactly, but I thought that you were saying your pH right out of the tap was at a 7 and you just used that plain? MJ likes the pH closer to 5.8ish. Just slightly more acidic. I would try reducing the pH if you're not already. Check out this sweet meter. I found it all over the place online for 144-200$. This site has it for $110! It does pH, temp, EC/TDS (ppm), water proof, and pre-calibrated. Plus if the electrode goes out - they sell replacements, but they're under warranty for 6 mo. anyway. lol sorry about the grammer, i slept during english class. But now i got my bonzi mom and a nouter clone of it in the box on there 2 nd day of 12/12 so far thre starting to look good. ph is now under controll 5.8 - 6. as i do i have hanna ph meter and the old stand by liquide tester and a oaktron tds meter

Here man. This is the solution. I'm a bit of a stats junky so I thought I would make this. I'm sure it can help anyone else. But it would be nice for you to enlighten us with your stats. Also - can you list the NPK values of your nute?

Well crap. If anyone would like me to email them the log in excel format, I would be happy to. But here's what it looks like. We're only alloud to upload pics apparently.

Thanks Durban i got excel but since the last MS update it stop working looks like there going after Pirated copy of MS products i will try open office verson of it on my linux only computer. lol they even put a nag screen on my copy of xp pro saying it not a leget copy lol screw MS

Hello,

Steve, google xp nag screen and you can get rid of it. I did, no issues since.

The down side is I think you can't get anymore upgrades.

I am sure some hack out there will have a complete fix for the problem so that the spyware reports back its a legit copy and you can get updates.

Hey Minds thank for the info i will check into it..but any ways i am so happy now cuz i whent to roll me one from my very special out door crop from last summer and quess what. i found seeds 10 sweet seeds its from the same stuff i been growing but must have been a good peno but this stuff will mess you up. but any ways i had em growing indoors and was about to sex them whent they came.. god dam spider mites from hell they kill all my clones but one the others where dam near dead when i said to hell with it i put them out in the woods and they recovered. and truned out to be 2 females lucky i saved the pollen from one of the males wich i pollenated one or 2 buds and i for got about it. well i found em i got seeds from the peon i thought was lost forever. hell if i can get the same pheno from thses seeds ummm i may just do one hole plant to seeds and see if i can work some thing out with JBL and see if i cant let him give em a way for free.but not shure if Gyspy will go for that or not . But if not all is good.

hey hybridtex, well my light reflector is just a alum. turkey pan, i cutt the bottom out and screw it to a 1 by 2 and stuck a pc fan in frount of the bulb to cool the light. works great with this box. i need all the hight i can get so this set up works well for me. but here soon i will be doing some up grading so a cool tube is in the works i got a home made hood i made with a pc fan bulit in to cool the bulb but i didnt like it becuse i lost close to 8" in growing height so i whent back with the good old turkey pan. 99% of my stuff is homemade.
