I agree, Alex smith is a solid to very good QB. He started off poorly in SF but got his career right towards the end, and then had some of his best years with andy reid in KC. Of course mahomes took over but he signed a big deal when he got traded to Washington. He had them doing well too (6-2 record) until his fibula snapped and he had a compound fracture (bone poking through skin). Good thing he got his money beforehand and honestly after that post surgery infection im surprised he can walk normally much less move well enough to be on an nfl roster. But if he does get game action I wonder if there’s something he can wear to protect his shins? I guess there’s a metal rod in the injured leg to strengthen it but that lower leg seems so much smaller than before…
Haskins was drafted #15 overall, I thought he fell further than he should have but turns out he’s not even worth a 1st rd pick. There’s a reason he fell so far, like trubisky he only had one year of starting experience in college. Maybe Daniel Snyder was involved with the decision to finally draft him, he’s a local kid (grew up in Maryland). Regardless, ur right pop, he started off bad and never really improved in any meaningful way.

So mike evans did play and caught a td last night, and Chicago finally scored a rushing td, and shockingly Chicago pulled off a close win over brady and the bucs. The O wasn’t much to speak of but did enough at times and the D gave up a few big plays but for the most part held tompa in check. Glad I didn’t bet on the bucs, thanks for warning me off, gojoe.
But honestly, without that tampa fumble late in the first half, setting up chicago’s second TD, tampa would have covered (won by 6). But that’s football for u, one fluky play in the red zone can make or break a bet.

Heh, one of my grower friends made good money during college too being a grower/seller, back 10-15 yrs ago when you could get $50-60 for an eighth of good homegrown around this area. Nowadays with so much medicinal and recreational flooding the markets his business suffered, his former customers would tell him they can get an oz for $100 mailed from a rec state. Unfortunately for him he was never able to find a job in his field of study so im not sure how well he’s doing now…

the bears dafense showed up last night and played a great game
it looked like tb would come back a few times throughout the night but the bears held them off
the offense looked decidedly mediocre, and foles never really took over
luckily tampa bay played just as bad but without a crushing defense (and maybe an injury to vita vea)
what qa great way to kick off week four!
$50 an eith is still a decent price, especially if you are going to a shop to buy
there are a ton of rec places open here in san diego now and i think that it has taken a lot of the smaller growers/ dealers out
ive seen their inventory, i wasnt impressed
sometimes i will tag along with a friend who likes to buy oil/ shatter and carts for his pen and i check out the flowers/ hash
i dont ever buy but they will often kick me down on a taste if the bud tender is cool
in addition to my own grows im still in tight with a network of friend who are producing major weight
/its the same stuff the dispensaries get just a few months fresher
the game has totally changed from back in the day and its gone from a friends thing (where you had to know someone, or at least know someone who knew someone), to now anyone can walk in off the street and get weed just like stopping by circle K
the fun has just begun and this is going to be another long week of football with two monday games
cant wait for the fun to begin and i hope you enjoy your sunday brother!
/whats on the menu this weekend?

The way I see it is, if they play that game 10 times the way they did, Tampa comes out -6 - and you know how it easily could have ended -5, -6, -7. But 2, 3, 4 of those games are going to be exactly like last night. If not the Fuller hit and the drops, something else. The issues coming into that game threw a wet blanket on the probability for Tampa, more than Chicago. Tampa money would have been better lost on Pittsburgh, or even better on Florida, since these have a more favorable probability factor. Both Miami teams and TX have better probability than Tampa did, and VA Tech is about the same - the thing is they're all dogs. Tompa is somehow -2.5 for GB next week but I have them +3.5 unless they get everyone back, including 5 points better at home. GB covering isn't the highest probability, but it's more likely than Tampa last night.

isko but what country is?

area on the map, it’s just east of Italy, north of Greece, south of Austria, west of hungary/Romania/Bulgaria and Turkey, so yeah, seems like youre at a real crossroads of different cultures and foods. Have you traveled through a lot of Europe, visited other countries? That has to be one of the best aspects is being able to drive to all these different countries.
We don’t use paprika so much in traditional American cooking but it does add nice color and a sweet flavor to dishes if you want a little spice but no heat. Is spicy food a thing in Balkan cuisine or not so much? Almost all paprika in American is not spicy, very little heat.
Over half of all adults in America are classified as obese or morbidly obese, so junk food and fast food have really taken their toll on our country’s health. If you look at pictures of americans from the 70’s and earlier im surprised how few of them were fat, nowadays if youre not fat youre in the minority. Food is cheap and most jobs don’t require much manual labor (not like working on a farm) so this problem is only going to get worse in the future I think.
Heh, I don’t get too worked up about sports teams either. I told Pop this story once, I read online about this kid who was so worked up about his favorite team losing that he threw his TV remote at the TV and broke the screen, his dad was so mad he told his son: “Listen, these teams, theyre like strippers, theyre just rubbing up against you for money, they don’t care about you, theyre just doing it for the money” After that his son was much more calm when his team lost (im thinking his son was at least a teenager to talk about strippers like that).
It sucks that they caught you like that, I think drugs in general should be decriminalized, not just weed. Here in American we’ve had 100’s of thousands of addicts die from tainted drugs; if this market was regulated and controlled we could have saved a lot of lives. The war on drugs just makes things worse instead of better imo.

First of all I knew it TB will f something up against CB, i tout he will have few int or P6,I think I cursed him when I start to cheer for him.. You are wright about that, we embrace all good food from our neighbors or conquerors and tweak it a little.. You must understand that I'm born 1981 , and we have communism until 1991 and Our independence war against Serbija/former yugoslavija..

Alothou we had mild version of Communism as far as I know traveling wasn't very easy.. War has ended with operation storm in 95 so during this hard war times we were thinking how to survive and years after wasn't very easy also..

Criminals supported by people on power robbed and destroy our economy..

Thank god on elementary school and high school and road trips with them.. So I visited few times Italy (Padova /Verona) (during the war we moved to Istria, so we often went to Trieste to do some shopping),Spain (Barcelona),We had 5 day vacation as graduation trip in Lorette de Mar , my drugging carrier started there.. I smoked first time there..Hashish.:yummy:
I almost slept thru whole my vacation. I was baked from getting up to late night. And I find my "thing" getting f up, and stoned as hell. :bis:

I visited also San Marino, Monaco, Budapest, And Prague..

My Birth place is near Hungarian border so we were often did some shopping In Hungary (we had much much better living standard than them before fall of IRON Curtain), And I Visited Brussel 2018 when I vent to buy my car.. (that city shocked me, I become Republican from democrat..)

Beautiful architecture ruined by smell of piss and bunch of hobos, immigrants and others.. And that is like politic capital City of Europe.. I only flew 3 times in my life

with small commercial planes, and rest of trips were on bus organized..

We have hot and sweet paprika.. And there is levels of hot paprika just like in non powder form.. So you spicing your meal how do you want it. We in Slavonija like Spice/hot food..
Not very strong, but still that you can feel the heat...

About obesity, younger generations After 2000 are following Us very strong.. They dont play much outside, dont have much sport activity plus our food rich in calories (people worked very hard physical labor 50y ago,and that style of eating food remained until now, so when add that + fast foods plus kids dont do much outside activity, we are following your footsteps like a religion..

MY neighbor Italian threw he's TV thru the window when he watched 1990 World cup soccer game Italy vs I dont know.
Clubs are here very old and started when sport was pure amateurism, so It has little deeper meaning to us.. bUt still it's all fake and about money now.

Maybe I wrote something wrong I didn't get busted but had few visits to police station and similar... But I manage to get out without any repercussions. Lady Luck was on my side those 2-3 times..

Here are party drugs pretty big, mdma, xtc, lsd, speed, cocaine , weed..

Heroin is actual but it isn't epidemic like party drugs...

I think that 60% of high school kids are weekend drugs users ..

Weed is still look at here like something bad..Althou there is bunch news about ricks oil for cancer treatment, and cbs positive sides..
If I get busted growing small scale , I'm getting at least 2 years of probation..Or year or two prison.. It depends how big your growing operation is..

I hope all of this have any sense..

@pop_rocks Until 2008 weed was sold very very cheap , you could buy 50g (2 OZ) for like 50 bucks, and you could get half of kilo 1 pound I think 300$.... (Ok from then to now there was inflation also, )
I was in my 20's ans spent whole my time in street, and visited rave parties ( I was r0aver) so you get know lots of people.. majority of weed has always come from Lazaret (Albanian village that supply whole Balkan and Eu with weed..There is doc. movie at Yt , google it it's a must... ) and I didn't really think about it in that times... Then over night prices vent x10 up. So now you pay 2 oz like you payed half of kilo then... And weed become worse!!! In 2014 they raided Village And you couldnt get weed nowhere. That situation went for few months..Then I got Interested in growing.. I tout I would never manage to grow a plant..I'm / was anti botanic guy..

And yes you meet people when you are on street,, But half of my neighborhood sold weed at one point. And one of those guys was doing "weight", I didint ask him who was connection , but then that kind of business was done by real criminals.. (selling big unit's of drugs..) Now it's more high school kids, individuals who wanna earn some extra money..

Yeah, outside of a few clutch throws foles was off the whole night. Montgomery was more effective than I’d thought he’d be, especially in the passing game. Tampa’s a good D, and that injury to Vea didn’t happen till late but ur right, it’s going to be easier to run on them now since he broke his ankle and is out for the year.
Tampa moved the ball pretty well at times but penalties killed a few of their drives, kept them out of FG range. I think a couple times they had a 1st and 30? Gojoe is right, Tampa covers that game 6-8x out of 10 but coming in with godwin out and Fournette out (he was active but didn’t play a snap), chicago at home, Thursday night game, it all spelled trouble for a tampa win.
Maybe under those circumstances I should have bet on Chicago, Gojoe? But I guess that’s why the line moved towards the bears in the day or two before the game, uncertainty about tampa injuries and maybe a lot of Chicago homers saying “hurr durr, foles owns brady” or something to that effect…

Yeah, I think taxes on recreational cannabis make it more expensive than black market cannabis currently. When IL’s rec dispensaries started doing business, some people’s receipts for a couple of vape cartridges and a couple eighths would be over $200 with tax! Could easily save 40-50% or more on the black (or gray?) market, and of course growing your own is very cheap, after the initial investment in lights/equipment/seeds. The labor involved and electric costs aren’t insignificant, but it’s nice to have so much herb you can make as many concentrates as you want without feeling like youre wasting it. Ah, I miss the days of growing…
I haven’t really don’t much cooking, just trying to eat stuff we’ve cooked and leftovers we’ve frozen. It’s good though, not complaining, and we’re opening up room in the fridge/freezer which is nice, get to stock up on meat again.

#1 Clemson hosts #7 Miami and are favored by 15? Miami beat a ranked Louisville team by 13pts along with killing FSU and Clemson hasn’t faced anyone ranked, beat wake forest (bad ACC team) by 24 and virginia (usually below average ACC team although last year they won 9 games) by 18. Yeah, I can see how Miami should cover the spread.
I don’t know how Pitt is only favored by 7 at home vs Philly, philly’s entire OL is composed of 3rd stringers (practically) and Pitt has the leagues best pass rush. Add to that a shaky wentz and pitt could cover the spread off points from turnovers alone.
SF is favored by 9 vs Miami, jimmy garappolo will start, mostert and deebo are maybe’s. Niners D has nick bosa and soloman Thomas out for the year, richard sherman is out for this game, and niners are coming off a loss to philly (!). Yeah, I can see Miami covering, they’re healthier as a team.
Oklahoma is favored by 2.5 at #22 Texas? Yeah don’t get that either, both teams are in a tailspin but not sure why OU should be favored on the road. Well, it’s not really on the road, the red river rivalry is played in dallas at the cotton bowl, but still…
#21 Texas A&M hosting # Florida, UF favored by 4.5, and TAM barely beat Vanderbilt (worst SEC team) and got killed by Bama? And UF already beat 2 average SEC teams in Ole Miss and S. Carolina? Yeah, that seems like a good bet as well…

Yeah Disko, I didn’t know this but the former Yugoslavia was communist but not part of the USSR. I guess the Balkan people just want to be left alone, eh?
America is democratic but more and more it’s becoming an oligarchy, where the few rich and powerful influence and control the government and laws. Even our middle class is shrinking I think, there aren’t so many truly poor people but there are many people who are just barely making it, living paycheck to paycheck, can’t afford a hospital bill or car repairs when needed, etc.
Sounds like you had a great time touring the continent. That’s a common thing for American students to do after graduation, they travel across Europe with just a backpack, taking the rail lines everywhere, sleeping in hostels. Maybe you’ve seen them, all of the annoying young American and Australian tourists, poor and unwashed, can’t speak the language. Heh, but maybe it’s fun to party with them?
Your experience in brussels sounds like Pop’s experience in downtown San Diego, California. Really nice city but filled with homeless living on the sidewalk, pissing and pooping in alleys, aggressive when panhandling.
Most hot pepper in American is red pepper, crushed or ground, but it’s hard to find hot paprika here, but we do have some groceries around Chicago that specialize in European imported foods, maybe not much Balkan stuff. I notice there doesn’t seem to be much rice and potatoes as grains in the food pictures you’ve linked to, is it mostly bread (wheat) as the carbohydrate, with rice and potatoes not very common? Although I think I saw fries (chips) in some dishes…
Yeah it’s true, with the industrialization of agriculture a few big machines can replace a lot of the manual labor, so you need only a few farmers (relatively speaking) to grow food for a bunch of people. Even the jobs that require a lot of manual labor in the US like factory work and the trades (carpenter, plumbing, electrician etc) require more strength than moving a lot (cardio) so even those workers are prone to weight gain. And Balkan food certainly looks hearty (bread, meat, cheese) but in America we have lots of sugary foods (soda, candy, chocolate pastries etc) and deep fried foods/snacks. Not very filling but it gives you a temporary sugar boost.
Do you follow any football clubs in Europe or any basketball teams? I think toni kukoc and drazen petrovic were Croatian, and nowadays experts say those guys came 20-25 years too early. Their games would be perfect in the current NBA’s pace and space era, 3pt shooting, ball handling, passing, shooting off the dribble etc. They’d be top 15-20 players in the NBA now, multiple all-star and all-nba selections…
It’s good that you were able to get out of it without anything more than a few visits to the police station, that must have been scary though. I’ve tried all those party drugs, Disko, although ive never really enjoyed hallucinogenics much. Stimulants are nice for good energy and focus, but I couldnt do them anymore, my poor heart couldn’t take it. But yknow, everything in moderation.

The Tampa line probably moved with people being out and pros taking the +5.5 early. After watching Texas and VA Tech for a few 1Q minutes I can see why they're dogs. The FL game is also not going well. Lots of bad football, bad decision making by everyone, and turnovers by some teams in college. Clemson I'm hoping is overrated. It might be a good strategy to just bet against the teams that don't have their shit together, and an offense consisting of an aging Brady and Gronk doesn't sound that great.

I never answer you about sea food restaurants, we dont have only sea food restaurant here in Slavonija (name of part of country where I live, something like between state and county... #try to google just that frase "Slavonija i Baranja") but some of Restaurants offer some sea food, but not that much as Coast restaurants do, there isn't enough demand I think..

We have river fish, and we like to eat meat too much.. ;)

I still hustle some weed for my friends.. Althou I grow for my self (currently have to shitty results so I dont have even enough for me) , but I hustle Albanian /street weed..So I dont know how would I fee about legalization.. I could grow much trouble free, but I wont be able to sell to anyone coz 80% of people would have some source of weed. So I understand all troubles of black and recreational market..

Not Only that we weren't under SSSR, we have our OWN Block, it WAS CALLED NESVRSTANI and it had quite a lot of members..There was bunch of African countries and was.. Tito was real fckn boss, although now he is shitted on by everybody.. Tito Made it as opposite to US and SSSR block, they didnt want to get fckd but none of those two. SSR almost made invasion on Yugoslavia..

Serbs, croats and all..We were all Yugoslavs, once he did that country, after 50y of living together like brothers , now everyone are against him..Cro/SErb Nationalists hate him..

Imagine that America goes divided by all 50 states, And ALL OF THEM are shamed that they were Americans.. People are dumb.

For me you are not even a oligarch..It0s pure dictatorship by deep states.. You as state shit on communizm and china, but what freedoms do you have vs them..YOu have 2 parties system that is puppet mastered by deep state , you dont get even to choose your own president..parties do.. Dude when there are elections for prime minister and shits we in EU and Balkan have bunch of candidates..Like if you could choose anyone from democratic primary elections..

And that hospitals crap.. I cannot believe that free health care is looked at something bad?? Like communism.. Like wtf dude.. health care systems is financed from taxes, and you have all of that for free.. But we are came to the level that if you wanna some better healthcare, you got to go to private doctors..All better doctors went private..

I cant remember did I ever met some young Americans traveling, but I know about that.. It's a cool thing to do..I dont know would I have balls to do it tho..

MY country is too poor to be interesting in professional bums and hobos living from welfare ,but rest of Europe inst.. Let me be clear Half of those immigrants are , just that, somebody is gradually fckn Europe also.. They wanna do invade countries without one fired bullet, all under some Left (but I dont see them as Left, I was declaring myelf as Left guy) human rights agenda..

People must Understand..There is NO Such thing as ECONOMIC IMIGRANT!!! Especially illegal.. All those goat fckrs that invaded Europe had latest phones, and shitload of money.. Only god know how much jihadys was sent here...

And yes we in Balkans aren't so soft as rest of Europe.. We would get dealt with them every soon and very brutal..No go zones?? LOL

I think you have another problem, all those bums and hobos in US had some sort of bad luck in their life, and state fckd them over..

I saw doc. on yt people in Cali living in their cars, coz they cant afford housing.. Normal working people..That is horrible..

When I was talking about hot paprika I was thinking of this..

https://www.dreamstime.com/red-pepp...pepper-powder-hot-pepper-spice-image128241221

Rice and Potatoes are our main source of carbs and side dishes..

We have even counties that are proud pf their usage of potatoes (LIKA) and we make them at 1001 way.Baked, fried, oven, mashed potatoes.. God damn i dont know how would my life looked without potato.. With BBQ minced meat there isnt that much history of using potatoes or rice, because we used to go to nature and do BBQ.. In weekend..Like you go to fishing, or some kind of picknick trip, and you bring your bbq, and lets party.. SO it's easier to bring some bred, and salads than bake potatoes ..

We mostly use it with stakes, and other parts of meat.. Like veal under oven, i made with potatoes, and boy is that good.. Or octopus under oven.. Potato salad is a must with every river fish dish. We like dedicates too.. But we dont use sugars in normal cooking..I'm sugar junky addict with weight problems whole my life..So I understand fully all facts about sugar in food..

My sister went to works in Bloomberg, and she got at least 10 pound..She told me : I was eating same amount of food as in Home, but your is full of calories so she gained some weight..

Our normal working time is from 7-15hrs and Our cities are small... Except Zagreb.. So major of people dont travel more than 30min to their work, and we still manage to do a lot of real cooking with fresh groceries..

I was cheering for ac MIlan as youngster,( i like italian soccer clubs ) and I would be kind of any international club that would any of our Croatian player played..
Normally I was cheering for my Home soccer club, and Bulls were my fav. nba club.. I hated Reggie Miller.. But we were craizy about Supersonic too, and Orlando when penny played.. Kemp was my god aslo... Jugoplastika and Cibona were our domestic basketball power houses.. So when they blayed EU games we cheered for them.

I cool off from professional sport, I dont see any reason to cheer for anyone, in this corporate all about money sports age.For me prof. sport lost a soul.. I know nfl is even worst, but It's interesting still to watch for me.. MAybe is because i follow it only since 2015...

I was in elementary school when Kukoc and Drazen, And Ra?a played in nba.. We adore them All.. I was staying up until 3am just to watch bulls games. Since Kukoc played there , it's only NBA club that I would ever follow and cheer..

I think today NBA basketball would most suit Drazen (Petrovic)..He was best balkan basketball player ever.. HE was steph curry before steph, plus he had every other aspect of game in his pinky,,Not only shooting 3 pt.. He passed away in car crash after he's 3rd season In nba.. SO he is pretty unknown for casual nba fan..

There are few yt movies about him.. I recommend to watch it..

Trust me more luck than brains.. But I was never suspect always some kind of witness or person of interest for interrogation in some non related with me, or not closely related case..

My drug was xtc and weed.. I adored xtc , I was truly rave guy..
But with busting some mayor drug supplier ((i think ) that scene died ( xtc stopped coming) and I stopped visiting raves, and they stopped organized them..

I started waiter-ing in clubs, and stated doing speed ( keeps your head clean, and gives you energy for all night work) , and continued to use it for any kind of going out or parties.. Speed is main party drug in Cro..
Altho MDMA had strong comeback in recent years..

I knew to get so high of weed that I had trippy experiences few times, and was catatonic few times. (could move lol) ,

so When I got brave to try some lsd, I was amassed... And yes xtc overdoing can cause you some hard core i dont know what i'm doing states...

I never stumble upon too strong LSD (mostly it would run for 8hrs, with very manageable tripping) so I Like than very much...

I know that most of Americans find rest of world like 3rd world countries, but I can tell you we live pretty good out here..

Low crime rates, you can go outside in 2,3,4,5 am and walk without any fear in any city in Croatia..

Yeah Gojoe, Texas and Florida and Miami didn’t cover. TX was playing catchup all game, Florida’s defense couldn’t stop TA&M, and Miami couldn’t move the ball against clemson. Ah well, the reasoning going into the games seemed sound, I guess…

Are most of the seafood dishes in Slavonija stews and soups? I think in America most of the seafood is either fried (battered and deep fried cod or whitefish like the UK fish and chips) or grilled or oven baked (salmon, swordfish, etc), with a side of rice or potato (baked or mashed or fries). We do have fish stews but those are more for fine dining restaurants I think.
I saw that yt video about lazaret, where they supplied Europe with a bunch of cannabis until the govt, in hopes of joining the EU, shut most of it down in 2014. Sad that the country’s govt was fine with it, in fact the cannabis trade brought in a lot of $ to the country, but when the govt saw more profit in joining the EU they sent in the police and military to shut it down by force.
I remember around 20 years ago, 2000 or so, good homegrown weed around Chicago was worth more than gold ($300/ounce). That’s the perverse thing is that making drugs illegal really just benefits the black market; many central and south American cartels made/make billions of dollars selling illegal drugs to America. If anything, legalization would get rid of their profits, like it has done to cannabis.
Heh, you make a good point about our 2 party system, there’s a lot of people who don’t like trump but also don’t really like biden or hilary Clinton (2016 election). If you don’t really like either candidate who do you vote for? Libertarian or Green party together get less than 5% of the vote, it’s like a waste voting for them.
America’s deadliest war is still the civil war from the 1800’s, I sometimes think America would want to split between red state and blue state type areas if they had a choice. Even if blue (democratic) states (Illinois, California, new York) the people in rural areas (farmland, small towns far from cities, etc) are mostly red (vote republican). There’s always exceptions but this is usually the rule, big cities vote democrat and smaller towns/rural areas vote republican. Im not sure how this upcoming election will go, biden is supposedly leading but I wouldn’t be shocked if trump won again.
I think republicans don’t want healthcare for all and democrats do. Republicans in general want smaller, less expensive govt. I agree that healthcare costs in America are insane, they’ll try to charge you $10-$50 for one Tylenol or aspirin, you can get big bottle(s), hundreds or thousands of pills, for that price.
I saw that documentary Once were Brothers from Espn, about Vlade divac (serb) and Drazen/Kukoc (Croat) and once the Yugoslav war started they wouldn’t speak to each other after being very close as teammates on the Yugoslav national team. Sad but understandable. I think the Serbs started the war by invading Croatia first?
Did the Balkans have a lot of immigrants from Syria? I think that was a concern with a lot of EU countries, lot of refugees can just drive and enter their countries. We got some Syrian refugees I think in America, I had a negative interaction a few years ago with one (i think he scammed me) but other than that no other experience.
California is very expensive to live in, Poprocks would be the first to tell you that. LA, San Diego, San Francisco are expensive, and certain towns in Silicon Valley (around SF) are very expensive too. I think one town in Silicon valley, their police force couldn’t afford to live inside the town, so they rented a few RV’s (recreational vehicles/mobile homes) and the cops would sleep in the RV during their workweek and then on the weekend (2-3 days off) would go back to their real home (1 or 2 hour drive away since they couldn’t afford anything closer).
I would say bread (yeast bread, not flatbread) is the most popular grain in America, with potatoes a close second and rice third. Some areas, like the southeast, eat more rice than other areas, and of course if you are ethnically Asian you would eat more rice than the average American. Is most bread in Croatia flatbread (unleavened) or is there a lot of yeast/risen bread too? I like both types.
I agree, too much calorie dense food it bad for you, especially without a lot of physical activity. I think French people eat a lot of calorie rich food (bread, cream, butter, meat etc) but their portions are more modest so their weight gain is more reasonable. Also, it’s more like your country where people tend to shop more frequently for their meals, they don’t often keep a lot of food at home preferring to shop for it fresh, whereas in America a lot of people eat fast food regularly which is usually much worse for you.
Ok, seems like the hot paprika in the Balkans is basically red hot peppers like we have in north America. I guess paprika, hot peppers (red and green) and even bell peppers are all part of the same family.
I see some of the big soccer clubs in EU trade the best players for hundreds of millions of dollars in transfer fees. It’s amazing how much the professional athletes’ salaries have risen in American and Europe. I still think most athletes want to win (messi wants to be traded so he can win more) but yeah, you make a good point, too much money in a sport can cause a lot of corruption and/or bad intentions.
Drazen made all-nba 3rd team his last year so he was the 3rd best shooting guard in the league (behind Michael Jordan and joe dumars), he was amazing, shooting 45% from 3pt range, off the dribble, pull up 3’s. No one had ever really done that before in the NBA, he was really 20+ years ahead of his time. He was 29 when he died, makes you wonder how much he could have done if he had played 6-7 more years in his prime. Being able to shoot like that, he could have played till 40 maybe, have some all time 3 point records.
I think even now the Balkan area, for the size of their population, is the most talent rich basketball area in the world, even more than America which has many more people. Luka is Slovenian and will probably win one or more MVP’s. I don’t know, maybe Balkan people are very athletic and skilled?
Ive tried mdma a few times, I think it was alright but I didn’t do it so much. LSD I think ive tried but not much. Here in America a lot of children are prescribed Adderall which is basically pharmaceutical speed in order to help them ‘focus’ in school. I think amphetamines are good for weight loss (did you lose weight on them?) but it’s bad for your heart and blood pressure, although I did like the energy boost (but hard to sleep on!).
Ive had some really trippy experiences on cannabis a few times but mostly if I do too much I just sleep, lol. I do find that I don’t dream as much when im smoking a lot, or at least I don’t remember my dreams when I wake up.

So now the patriots-broncos game is postponed from Monday to next Sunday after another positive test today. We still have a bills-titans game on Tuesday set to be played, it was delayed from Sunday. Normally I wouldn’t mind football being more spread out but this is getting ridiculous.

Yeah Gojoe, Texas and Florida and Miami didn’t cover.

In all these cases their opponent hadn't been playing up to their potential, and it wasn't clear if or when that was going to happen. Now they're up to where they were last year - they're better than they have been, instead of the other teams underperforming. Some teams were already there and some teams still aren't, which is obvious if you watch the games for a couple minutes. NFL was a different story like I said before they haven't been hobbled much from the start, so they're more predictable. It looks like the other Miami will cover. The zebras tried to sell out the Steelers with non-contact offensive PI - I think that's their strategy to throw games - but Pittsburgh overcame.

Yeah, I guess with just 2 games into the NCAAF season, things are still shaking out. Maybe corona negatively affected training camps too, not as much practice time, no offseason workouts etc. Also most FBS teams (Div 1A) schedule cupcakes their first 2-3 games as a sort of ‘preseason tune-up’ before playing conference opponents, and for the most part those games were cut out (most teams just playing a conference schedule now, fewer games).
At least Pitt beat Philly by 9, covering the 7pt spread. I didn’t watch a lot of that game, preferring red zone channel, but I was surprised philly kept scoring the way they did to keep it close into the 4th. Sanders had a 70yd td run, carson took 5 sacks and threw 2 picks but kept battling, had 2td passes. Maybe philly is getting better? They beat SF the week before, although Miami just killed SF by 26. That was a good call by you, SF was favored (!) by 8 and lost by 26, lol. I thought garappolo and mostert playing would help them, mostert did ok but who knew garappolo would play like poo and get benched at halftime? Geez…
Do you watch the games you bet on? Sometimes I get superstitious watching games, like Im affecting the result, lol. Silly I know.

what a great weekend of football and the fun isnt over
we get chargers/ saints tonight and another game tomorrow! the new covid schedule is all over the place but ill watch football any night of the week
rams rolled over washintons footballing natives and the rams defense went ape, but the real story of that game was alex smith
after almost losing his leg to infection he is able to come back and actually play an nfl game!
of all teams to have ot face in your debut, he gets the rams
/in the rain no less
but he took a beating and came out of it in one piece; i hope this is the begining of the second chapter of the alex story
miami over the niners was a huge game! sf needs a spark to get back on track
but the real story was the lvRaiders
his raiders just knocked off the top team in the nfl and they arent getting the respect they deserve!
i mentioned before that lv is underrated and this win should put the afc on notice, this team could be for real
looking forward to tonight chargers game and cant wait for the tuesday night special with the red hot bills taking on the titans
/where is subrob?!?
is pittsburg for real? nfc.e reminds me of my election ballot with all the losers but you have to choose one
the rams look great on defense but the offense has a tendency to stall out mid game
can the afc west produce two playoff teams this year?
got some yellow rice and black beans going and cant wait for tonights action to beign!

Yeah, I guess with just 2 games into the NCAAF season, things are still shaking out.

Even in the third or fourth. It's the practices and people in and out. Good teams are about full strength in the first or second game. Some teams are up and down while the Jets are remarkably predictable. Seattle started well and is fading while MN is rising but still finding ways to lose. Saints will be lucky to win by 2 if Herbert has it going, and will be lucky to cover at all if my power rankings have it right, and they were 11-1 against last Monday's lines. The 1 was Chicago. Miami was most obvious call after Philly - who were only marginally better than they were the week before and I think they just got off to a slow start to the season and are peaking now. SF obviously isn't anything unless they're playing a NYC team.

I had to know if Ben is too old or what. Hard to say what would have happened if that one guy wasn't in the game but Pittsburgh looked like a well coached team with a solid base strength, for what weaknesses they have. As long as Ben is making quick releases to someone on his team who can catch the ball and not fumble it they should be OK. Good ground game, execution and play calling - it's more than a lot of teams have.

Heh, right on Pop, having Tuesday night football is an unexpected bonus, but the Thursday night game between the chiefs and bills, a really good game, is going to be postponed to next Monday night since the bills play tomorrow. But ur right, double MNF next week isnt a bad thing either.
Yeah, alex smith passed the aaron Donald test (think there was a clip of Donald on the sideline saying that m-effing leg is STRONG) so once he gets some more reps maybe he can be a viable starter again? Although I think kyle allen is still the starter if he passes all concussion tests.
Garappolo’s ankle is still an issue, he wasn’t able to plant (right ankle) on his dropbacks so he was sailings throws. Maybe he needs another couple weeks of rest.
That raiders games was surprising, it’s the first time mahomes lost a game by more than 7pts. They knew they couldn’t stop KC’s offense so they resolved to outscore them. David carr, he’s actually been getting better and better under gruden, he gets a lot of crap for not having a winning record but he was on a lot of rebuilding rosters. If you surround him with talent (like back in 2015?) he wont be the reason you lose games.
Herbert was balling in the first half but keenan allen left with back spasms. I swear the dude has played 5 games and already throws the deep ball as good as Rodgers and Wilson. Crazy. F*Spanos, he shouldn’t be able to luck into his next franchise QB like that.

Saints were favored by 7 or 8 going into MNF and won by 3 in overtime, so yeah Gojoe, when Herbert got going they weren’t able to cover. What are your lines for next week? Packers are favored by 1.5 to 2 over Tompa, u think they easily cover?
I think Ben’s arm is fully recovered from his elbow surgery, he’s only averaging 250yds/game (low for him) but he’s got a 10-1 td-int ratio. His best WR (probably) diontae johnson left the philly game with another injury but their #4 WR, claypool, had a game for the ages. Ur right, they have good depth at WR and RB so as long as ben’s healthy and the D is balling (except for giving up an early 70td run to miles sanders) they’re a tough matchup.

Bungle, browns are 4-1 for the first time since the 90s when belichick was coach and saban was his Def Coor. This is the team that everyone thought they’d be last year, they improved their O-line and letting their run game eat setting up baker and Odell/Landry shots downfield. Myles garrett is wrecking people, hopefully he doesn’t lose his cool and bash someone over the head with a helmet again. But seriously, they’ve got 2 games against Pitt and 1 more against ravens so we’ll see if they can compete with them. that was a great game last night!
looks lke this years rookie class of qb are on point
you are right about herbert baba', he has made the transition to the big league and throws a nice deep ball
unfortunately, his arm hasnt been able to bring them a whole lot of wins (chargers 1-4)
the nfl schedule is crazy this season but we just have to roll with it
it still shows the chiefs v bills for thursday, but thats not happening with tonight game
are they goign to have another team play thurs or will it be dark thurs?
i heard there was some stink from espn about having two monday night games; something about how they paid a ton to feature the monday night games and how the flex schedule is competing with their time slot
carr looks like he is legit and ready to lead raider nation
im starting to wonder about the saints
browns look good so far and have a big game this weekend against pitt
rams take on the 9'ers this weekend and i think this is a game they can win
the defense is playing top tier and the offense should be able to put up points against a beat up sf D
so far this has been a fun season and its just going to get better from here!

Go Browns!!

Apparently sharp money (go ahead and take it to 3) is on Cleveland? Are they the new Atlanta? First thing a professional would say is Browns losing in Pittsburgh - often by at least 4 - is one of the most predictable things there is, until it isn't. I like football tradition.

What are your lines for next week?

My cards have been shown. I'm all in, even though these are all too close. First game last season, Clemson had 3 TOs yet beat GA Tech and their new coach by 38. Does he get revenge or bitchslapped until he's fired. You had me at the-Jets-are-playing. LAR/SF speaks for itself - some books are -3.5/-110, others -3/-120. Can Aaron outscore Tom?

Bills should cover maybe easily but I have no cash on it.

The bolts are only 1-4 but Herbert had them with double digit leads the last two games, against brady and brees no less, so im getting the sense from chargers fans online that yeah, theyre not happy with the record (less than a 20% chance of making the playoffs with that start) but theyre very happy with their rookie QB, who looks way better than rivers did the last 5 yrs (maybe 10? You’d know better than me), and is only going to get better. So, lose the battle (season) win the war (elite QB for next 15-20 years)?
Yeah, no Thursday night game this week, that has been postponed to next Monday, so double MNF next week, assuming no new covid positives; we were supposed to have pats-denver as the 2nd MNF this past week but new positives on the Pats delayed that to next Sunday. Ur right, this re-juggling of the schedule is getting nuts, I think the league might add week 18 to account for missed games.
That’s a good point about espn grumbling about another MNF game competing with them, they did pay a ton of money for MNF (like a billion/yr) and usually those games are crap. Sunday night football is usually better because they can flex a game between good teams from the afternoon to night, but MNF obviously cant do that with it being the only game that day. And now having to compete with another NFL game when they were supposed to have Monday to themselves? They might sue or something, or ask for concessions if such a scenario wasn’t covered by its contract.
Rams-niners should be interesting, Rams are 4-1 but all 4 wins came against the NFC east. Niners definitely look vulnerable, and rams look like the most complete team in the league (hawks D isnt good, neither is cards D and cards O isnt clicking either) maybe they’ll win the division? Those hawks games will be huge as well.

Hey Hawk, good to hear you chime in. I guess you don’t have home internet or reliable mobile internet? I had a buddy who had that issue, he didn’t even live in that rural of an area, he was just one block outside the range of the nearest comcast node, people down his street could get internet but he couldnt. He ended up getting a slow ass cellular modem hotspot, it was unlimited data but it was low grade DSL, could hardly download or stream anything on it.
If you have acceptable mobile data speeds you can download the adblock browser on ur smartphone and go to crack…..streams….com (remove the extra periods including all the ones after crack) and get some fairly reliable nfl streams, as well as mma etc. It does open a bunch of ads which is why you need the adblock, and also if it prompts you to sign up for something never do that, just close out go back to the c-stream link and try again (it opens up a tab and i click on the big gray play arrow and it streams for me but also opens up an extra tab with an ad which I just close out). I use this for red zone, if my internet’s slow it pauses sometimes and I have to close out the tab and click on the stream link again but for a free stream it’s pretty reliable.

Browns one loss they got killed by Baltimore by 30, so Pitt being favored by only 3 at home seems like easy money. Then again that was week 1 with limited training camp and browns look good now and Pitt sort of struggled with a bad philly team.
Bills had their #2RB, #2WR and #1DB out last night, I was thinking I would have bet on the titans to cover (lose by less than 3) with those odds an hour before the game. Bills kept it close but those TO’s killed them, one near their end zone and another one on a punt return, setting up short TN td’s.
Clemson killed Miami, their D was dominant, but they’re favored by 27 over GT that’s a lot of pts to cover. Same thing with Dolphins-Jets, fins are favored by 8 at home? That’s a lot of pts, and gase is a bad coach but might be more familiar with their roster as their ex-coach, plus a divisional game where they play each other tougher than u think blah blah. Then again, they just released leveon bell so getting rid of talent is counterproductive for a winless team, not that bell was doing so hot (4 tds and zero 100yd games in 1.5yrs) but still. I don’t know, both those lines scare me.
The rams being favored by 3 at the reeling niners and Godgers over Tompa at 1.5 to 2.5 seem like better bets to me. Tompa has one bad quarter every game and Hawk is right, Godgers is in MVP mode, still hasn’t thrown an int yet. I dont think they have a lost fumble either, i think theyre the first team in history to score 30pts in 4 straight and not have a turnover...
