Well, that game was certainly disappointing. Deandre swift couldnt get anything going on the ground, kwity paye had half a sack, caleb had 3 turnovers and bears couldnt cover the spread. On the plus side, williams had 2 tds and 300 yds, so there's some hope for the future. Did u watch any of the game, Hawk or Whip?

Hawk always goes into these downward spirals when he delves too deeply into the booze, it's not a great look for him. Speaking of which, ive been drinking more than normal and i can tell it's affecting my life and not in a positive way, we should both cut back while we're ahead.

The niners have owned the rams lately but this day was mostly one of upsets so maybe the rams, even with all their injuries, can surprise some people. I got a little bit on whittington over 35 rec yds, u think he'll hit that easy, Pops?

I think DB would have more friends in his life if he actually put some effort into relationships. We have people popping into this thread and writing some beautiful stories, like Buzz and Superx, and DB can't be arsed to actually type something out instead of speaking into his phone (talk to text), and the only pictures he posts are whatever junk he's shoving into his mouth that day. Even Hawk posts nice pics of what he's cooking, or going out to a restaurant, or even the sex machines he sees at a yard sale. Speaking of which, are we going to buy that thang or what? Who gets to use it first? I think we should send it to DB so his mom can ride it, im sure it's been a while since she's... uh... 'relieved some stress'. How about it, DB, u want to take some video of ur mom riding the sybian? Totally not weird, and quite possibly lucrative.

Ill admit, i almost gave up on this team like 3x, Whip. The defense looked vulnerable for the first time in a long time, and Caleb has way too many turnovers, but if he avoids them in the future i can see this team winning most any game.

it took all of 59min and 60 seconds but mcvey and the rams were able to pull a rabbit out of the hat against sf!
i just checked the stat line and it turns out whitt did not reach 35yds which is surprising, he was in a lot of the game
the rams were playing this 2te set and using whit in as an additional blocker on some plays, he had 3 rec but not over 35yds
they did go deep with tutu and robinson and we got to see the tutu choo choo, or whatever they called it when they run like an end around and he throws the ball 30+yds downfield
/i guess he used to play qb in hs
the real super star of the game was sf wr mari'jauan jennings lighting up the rams for three tds and 11rec/175yds

The afternoon game here was cowboys-ravens, i only saw bits of the niners game on redzone but that was a shocking ending, Pops. Down double digits in the 4th, rams hit a FG to come within 7, the niners missed a long FG and the rams got the ball back near midfield, stafford hit tutu for a long completion and kyren punched it in to tie it up. Niners dropped a pass that would have brought them within FG range, Rams returned the punt 40yds and a 25yd DPI later, they hit an easy FG for the win.
McVay avoided an 0-3 start, from which teams only make the playoffs like 1% of the time. Niners have lost 2 in a row and without mccaffrey dont look like world beaters anymore.

Looking at the score, Pops made a good point, they had a 50/50 run/pass ratio so looks like Rams kept pounding away on the ground. Surprising that Corum isnt getting any carries in that scenario, he's the definition of a grinder.

No one's saying ur a POS, at least u take care of ur mom or try to. DB makes his mom work full time when she should be retired so she can buy him clothes and food and concert tickets. If DB has a conscience he would at least let us send his mom the sybian so she can enjoy her private time more. Speaking of which, is that rummage sale still going on or what?

Florida is off next wk and hosts UCF the first week in Oct. Theyre looking at 2-3 more winnable games the rest of the season, since theyre playing Tenn, Georgia, Tx, LSU and Ole Miss. Another 5 win season for Napier and he's gone, and he'll probably be fired mid season if he loses badly to one of the top teams.

Without Tua you'd figure the Fins wouldnt have a good time in seattle, that denver game was surprising tho. People, including myself, were talking $hit about bo nix and sean payton and they came through in a big way against a good team.
Jags have actually beat the bills the last 2 times theyve played, so im actually liking their odds of an upset tonite.

Is the fall/winter h-word season, Buzz? Is there always damage every year or sometimes u can get lucky? I hope you avoid anything major. A few fallen tree limbs is fine, so long as theyre on the smaller end and dont hit anything important...

The season starts June 1 and ends November 30. We have had some close calls with some minor damage. Michael left the most damage aftermath. Our power was out for a week on that one. Some years are nothing but it only takes one good hit to ruin one's day for days and sometimes weeks and months. I do not like summer.

i havent watched the buc v broncos game yet but i was shocked that the bucs got their tail handed to them like that ; but we all have an off day now and then and im still a fan of tb and baker baker the dream maker
of course we have the @superx steelers at 3-0
sea is flying high in the nfc.w but we will see how long they can remain on top
unfortunately i cant be as optimistic about mia now that tua is down(and should stay out) so for now im going to have to fade the fins

mcvey was adjusting to the players he had available and was able to get them most out of everyone on the team
the 9ers did kind of screw the pooch at the end but thats just how football goes and the rams were able to cash in
one other kid i want to mention is this fiske kid from fla st; two fumble recoveries in the past two games plas he picked up a sack yesterday, this kid seems to end up in the back field on a lot of plays

Oooo, i dont like the look of that storm in the Gulf, Buzz. It's officially named Helene now? Sounds like it's going to be a bad one. 100mph winds? Have u ever experienced that in real life?

Yeah, i wonder if superx got to watch any steelers games in the emerald isle. Fields has been doing well so far, not scoring much but he's only had 1 turnover in 3 games, had a pass and rush td vs the bolts, i knew mike tomlin would be able to unlock the best version of him, unlike our sucky ass coaches.

Hawk is fine. He gets melodramatic when he's deep in the liquor but he's a survivor, and has some skills (fighting, trades) to his name, if the worst comes to happen.

I heard that the rams had a 5% chance of winning midway through the 4th, and then all that BS happened and once they had a go ahead 37yd FG attempt with 40 secs left, it was at 95%. Like stafford said, improbable.

The FSU rookies are making an impact in the league, keon coleman had a td for the bills. Like Pops said, Fiske has recovered a couple of turnovers for the rams. I think if FSU's starters had played vs Georgia in that bowl game, it would have been much closer; still a loss cause they had their QB and FSU didnt, but no way would they have scored 60+ pts.

Well i thought the jags could make a game of it but like Buzz pointed out they got dog walked by the Bills. After thinking it was the Bills' year last season and the season before that, maybe it truly IS their year this year. That AFC championship between the chiefs and bills will be epic.

Im not sure if DB is a good guy, sometimes I feel sympathy for him but he's basically a troll. Id rather not hear about him hanging out with his mom so much, how she basically takes care of him like he's a child when he's in his mid 40s. 90% of his posts are like that, he HAS to know that's not a good look for him.
