yeah i watched the rams game last night, the perfect way to end the preseason
there was football on tv in the background but i was messing around with other stuff so it was just background noise for the most part

cant wait for the real action to kick off
im picking up all the mexican channels! plus the asian stuff and teh same abc,nbc,cbs affiliates but from los angeles!

For sure, more than a few athletes have had to give up sports because of foot and ankle trouble. Steph curry had recurring ankle issues his first couple years in the league but hasn’t had a problem since wearing ankle braces. Maybe u should give them a try, I would think a lot of hiking puts stress on ur ankles?

Good point that amari cooper is being overlooked, if watson gets his game on track he could finish as a top 5-6 WR when he’s being drafted outside the top 20 WRs.

Today nfl teams have to cut down their rosters to 53 players each from 90. Lot of good athletes unfortunately will be released today, but some (16 players per team) will be on the practice squad.
Also cardinals cut their best QB, colt mccoy, so their starter will come down to josh dobbs who they just traded for from the the browns or a rookie 5th rounder. They’re really committing to the tank arent they?

he is signed through 2028 and has some huge cap hit numbers coming up in his contract
j.taylor in indy was unable to find anyone who would trade for him so he is still a colt but they put him on the pop list and i guess he is going to have to sit out the first four games of the season

Yeah AZ is quite clearly trying to ensure a 2 or 3 win record this year. Who do u think would challenge them for 1st pick in the draft? Washington? Houston again, maybe? But houston owes it’s 1st rd pick to AZ so that’s 2 chances the cardinals have for 1st overall? How about the Raiders? How would subrob feel about that? At least he could get excited for a new QB.

Like u said, they just extended Kyler last year and couldn’t get out of his contract till 2027, maybe 2026 if they don’t mind taking a big cap hit. You think any team would trade for him next year? Minnesota? Raiders? Seattle if geno doesn’t work out?

I think you'd like that fair, Pops, greek food is some of the best, like a combo of more traditional european fare with middle eastern fare. How would u describe greek food?

Made some yellow rice with long grained rice, chicken stock (used the bouillon powder), onions, garlic powder and saffron.

Ground the saffron up beforehand to let it bloom, didn’t wash the rice so it was sticky but we didn’t mind it.

Cooked the onions and garlic in some oil first, then roasted the rice lightly before adding in the stock and saffron, brought it to boil then covered turned to low for 15mins.

Was actually pretty good, had that nice subtle saffron flavor. I guess I can make tea with it too?

There was a little bit of brown on the bottom but not a crust, maybe ill try that next time. Gotta be careful with the crispy rice, that stuff can break a filling.
I didn’t have any raisins but that’s not a bad idea at all, will have to see about getting some. I guess u can add a bunch of stuff to rice, dried fruits, chopped nuts etc.
I thought I added a good amount of threads, like 10-20, but ur right I can always add more. It needed a bit more salt to bring out the flavor, thought the bouillon had enough salt but didn’t add enough of it, didn’t want the rice to taste too chicken-y, tho that’s not a bad thing imo.
Saffron is supposed to have health benefits and I think u can mix it with regular tea leaves to add subtle flavor. That’s one way to get saffron in ur diet if u don’t eat a lot of yellow rice.

I suppose if AZ gets the top pick (s) in the draft (they have houston’s 1st rounder) they could trade them away for more picks/players like the bears did with 1 overall. Just gotta find a QB needy team.

Jimmy G signed a 3 yr contract but only 2 yrs/48M is guaranteed, he could mentor a rookie in 2024 if they choose one in next year’s draft. Off the field, jimmy is probably the only guy in vegas who doesn’t have to pay for hookers.

I heard about the hamstring setback for Kupp too, and he’s dropping in fantasy drafts to the 2nd rd now. Keenan had a hammie last year and was out for almost 2 months with his ‘ramping up’ and subsequent ‘setbacks’, it’s so easy to tweak them again when try to go from 0-60. Well pops maybe you’ll see the rams compete for a #1 pick if stafford can’t have his favorite target.
Btw, cam akers is considered a sleeper top 5-10 fantasy RB, what do u think about his chances to put up big #’s this year? What about you SS, u think akers could be a value pick?

Here’s my draft results from a 10 team league with friends I’ve played 13+ years with … I had the 9th pick … I have a couple leagues with my basketball buddies and then I got 3 teams on FFPC which is a pro league hardcore nerd status … I also spend the most money on FanDuel … it’s honesty taken my love for fantasy to the next level … even though I always lose …

Unfortunately my generation can’t cook Persian food anything like our parents … my wife is Iranian born and raised from Texas… she can’t cook Persian food nor can my sister or any cousins … That crispy rise though! Tahdig can be made with bread or potatoes.. if made right it…. It’s mouth watering bro ….I took this stuff called BPC157 when I got injured … the pill version and not injected…I feel like it helped me a lot… I have 2 good friends who got back injuries and both of them had surgeons that wanted to do Spinal surgery…. 1 year recovery time in a wheelchair! Both of them said fuck off and did heavy physical therapy.. atm both of them are fine .. not perfect but haven’t even had a second thought about surgery …

That would be some fantasy football BS, having 3 top QBs on the same team, you’d have to trade 2 away at some point but don’t want to be low balled because they know ur desperate to get rid of them, but this is the real world too and the players themselves wouldn’t want to sit and not play indefinitely, they want to show what they can do so they can get big $$ extensions.
I don’t know, u think if a team had three top 10-12 QBs on the same team, would that be a good thing or a bad thing? I guess a good thing if 2 are on rookie contracts, but you cant play more than 1 QB at a time, and you’ve passed over good WRs or linemen to draft QBs instead.

How hard do u work the waiver wires? I always lead my league in moves by season’s end.

Do you do player O/U (yards, td’s etc) bets on FD, or do u do daily fantasy? I tend to stick to moneylines and spreads, etc, sometimes I do futures bets (how many wins, who makes playoffs, etc). Im too am always looking for a way to lose $$.
