Keenan is making his shots deep and midrange … also making more athletic moves to the rim .. he might be playing in the slot and racking up receptions this year … but he’s too much of a gamble for me after the last couple seasons … Ive got a feeling Jordan Love is going to breakout like Rodgers when Favre left … both the wideouts are going to eat … I really want James Cook also … stack up at WR in the first couple rounds then grab J.Williams on the Broncos and then Cook… Payton is going to use the Denver RB like Kamara style and feed him a ton of dump offs

I turned the game on but saw famous jameis playing for the saints and noped out. And easton stick is a rather cool sounding name but noped out of him too. Didn’t even watch the bears game because fields didn’t play, although I hear the rookie backup did well.

Yeah, that’s what I heard, that if china invaded taiwan they’d have to bomb them into submission and that would defeat the purpose, like u said the infrastructure is the most valuable part. But maybe they can avoid all the chip factories and just bomb, I don’t know, like apartment bldgs or something.

Storm, that’s an amazing story. What kind of workouts did u do to rehab ur knee? I’m guessing a lot of stretching and stuff with bands, not so much with weights. Did you ever do any squats as part of it?
I think ur right, too much medicine in this country is all about surgery. Guys getting back surgeries and such and still having back problems for the rest of their lives, necessitating more surgeries, etc. I had a friend who had a 'floating body' in his knee, a loose piece of cartilage or something, every so often it would move to a place that would hurt him until it moved back again, his own dad who was a doctor said dont get surgery on it it'll mess u up more in the long run.
And if u ever play with that bodybuilder again I think karma would require you to knock his azz to the floor while he's in midair. I thought pickup games were supposed to be mostly non contact, especially with pro athletes on the court, they would beat a guy up if he started fouling people who werent able to protect themselves.

Ok, javonte and james cook are ur sleeper RB picks, i dig the logic on both, makes sense. Im with u on j love and the packers, he looked good last yr in his little bit of playing time and continuing into this pre season, i bet the over on season wins for the packers when the lines first came out. I might also spend a low round draft pick on jordan love in fantasy. I dont play in any 2 QB leagues but most people carry 2 QBs anyway, and we have some packers fans in the league so he could be decent trade bait if i dont need him.
Maybe that would be a popular bet, who will finish with more fantasy pts this year, jordan love or aaron rodgers?

kick ass and go hard hawk, but from what ive seen its not anything like a karambit being used in real knife fighting
drop points are good stabby stabby/ work knives and i like the tanto , a nice long blade with some spine on it so it can poke through a leather coat

yeah baba! they put f'n raisins in their rice and i think a touch of cinnamon too along with other spices! if you are lucky you get the crunchy yellow bottom they have on the rice that is out of this world!

That’s the thing Pops, SS plays with some nfl dudes, they love to shoot hoops as a fun way to keep in shape during the offseason but are usually very careful with contact, knowing a bad injury on the court will threaten their career. So no swinging elbows, no fouling guys in midair, no undercutting guys, etc. I guess bodybuilder dude thought he could get away with fouling SS hard instead of a pro baller. U should have been strapped that day, storm.

Not sure if ive ever had persian food before but it sounds great, im sure theres a few places around here ill have to try it out sometime. I do love middle eastern food in general.

I know u mentioned ur toe hurting was that broken too or is ur foot break a different injury?

K. Allen missed almost 7 games last year with recurring hamstring issues, if he’s healthy all season he’s a lock for 100 catches and 1k yards. U make a good pt Pops with that rookie WR they go 3 wide most of the time, two big and fast flankers and K allen working the slot, Herbert is gonna put up 5k yards this season.

Storm, how would u rank the top 10 QBs in fantasy? After mahomes and allen, who would u go for, lamar hurts fields trevor herbert, maybe geno rodgers daniel jones? Would u rank Stafford in the top 10?

naw, i broke the foot a few years ago; the toe was just purple toe, it hurt like hell for a few weeks but got better on its own i guess
we will see what the chargers do with k.allen after this season
i might be wrong but i think he is nearing the end of his current contract and the chargers are looking at writing a big check for herbet here soon

Yeah, the chargers could cut keenan after this season or keep him on at a 23M salary for 2024, but like u said herbert is gonna get all the $$ soon so even though 23M for a top 20 WR is good value they might still have to let him go.
D. Watson in cleveland is looking interesting for a sleeper pick at QB, jimmy g is alright and carr could put up decent numbers with the saints but both are outside my top 10 fantasy QBs. Who would be in ur top 10 QBs for this season, Pops, just purely based on the stats u think they’ll put up?

Interestingly enough the rams are a team that a journalist picked to win more games than expected this year, along with the bears, browns and broncos. He went 4-1 last year with picking teams to win more than expected (lions, bills, jaguars, ravens and broncos) so he’s got a decent track record and thinks the rams could win 9 games this year. You seem way more down on them but there’s upside to losing games too.

that place looks ok and yeah its usually "plain" long grain white basmati rice (has a nice nutty flavor on its own)
if you notice the rice has yellow on it, its saffron usually and then they season it up with other secret ingredients that make it super good, especially when paired with the grilled meats

That kind of thinking about team building is common in the NBA, where u don’t really want a team that makes the playoffs but is out in the first rd every year, the casual fan is happy with that but you’ll never win a championship that way, and normally the only way to get top players is through the draft so u gotta suck bad enough to pick high.
Ya’ll lucked out getting stafford for two 1st rd picks and won a championship, but now ur kinda stuck with him, if he’s healthy all yr he’s leading u to 8-9 wins. I suppose if u don’t make the playoffs that still lands you a pick in the high teens, and u can trade up if u need to, chiefs traded up from #27 to #10 to draft mahomes, they gave up a 3rd rd and next year’s 1st rd pick to move up 17 spots in the 1st rd.

I’d put my top 10 as mahomes, josh allen, joe burrow, justin herbert, lamar jackson, jalen hurts, tua, trevor lawrence, russell wilson, geno smith, matt stafford. That’s 11. This isnt really fantasy QB ranking but more real life QB ranking, guys like fields and anthony richardson will add lots of value with their legs but not sure if it leads to more wins. I'd put kyler murray in the top 10 but his grade is Incomplete because of injury.

So there’s 2 TNF games tomorrow night, u’ll be glad to know one is on amazon prime, not sure if the milfs will be announcer team, it’ll probably be herbstreit and al michaels instead.

I do love that yellow rice they serve in middle eastern places, maybe I should buy some saffron and make some. Hey hawk u ever cook with saffron? Tell us about that time u made a 5 course meal in prison using the sheet metal of ur bed as a stove.

I forgot burrow and herbert in my first attempt at a list, good thing I did some research first lol.
Richardson wore #15 at florida, he should have kept it with the colts then he could be the Colts AR15.
Goff, cousins, Watson, rodgers, Carr all fall within that top 15 range, and most of those dudes could put up top 5 #’s if things break right for them.
Maybe Id fade the panthers and texans, bucs, maybe saints, vikings for sure (they won 13 games last yr with a negative pt differential for the season overall) although the vikings pass attack might be top 5-6.

What if the rams win 11 games and win a playoff game this year, would u still feel the need to trade everyone or could u see a path forward to building on that? I guess if they did so well that means a few rookies stepped up big time,

i think we started the rebuild when we got rid of ramsey to make cap space
now their secondary is mostly first and 2nd year players so we will see who steps up
they will need some help from the pass rush to keep things competitive
i like drafting the o'lineman with our first pick in the draft, (2nd rnd) but still feel the o'line could be a problem spot for the team
even if $tafford balls out he is not the next forever qb for the rams and i hope stetson continues to get some reps and improve
for d.carr to do well in nawlins' m.thomas needs to have return to his former glory
we will see how the dream boat does in tampa bay, but im secretly pulling for him to do well
he has some good hands around him in m.evans and c.godwin

I think ur right, if the young guys on defense perform at least at an average level the rams will win more games than expected provided stafford and kupp play all season.
Stetson worked on his arm strength before the draft, and he equaled will levis in velocity at the combine, 59mph each. Josh allen got 62mph during his combine. And stetson ran a 4.67 at the combine, which ranked #6 among qb’s. So he’s much more mobile than stafford and for a little dude has a stronger arm than you’d think.
There are some other low drafted and undrafted QBs this year that could make a splash if starters get injured. Bears have one, seahawks and raiders too. That’d be interesting if more teams started going the brock purdy route and play whichever QB gets the job done, no matter how high they were drafted or how much $ theyre being paid.

Chris olave is maybe the #1 WR in new orleans, michael thomas’s issue has been health. Kamara is a good dump off guy for carr as well. Carr ranked #17 last year among fantasy QBs even with throwing to davante adams, so most people don’t expect him to be top 10 this year but like u said, if michael thomas can blow up again there’s a chance. Not sure about their coach tho, subrob can tell u their coach aint really the guy.

i cook at home all the time! got some thin sliced beef the other day and made cheese steaks and bbq sandwiches
/cheese steaks get the cheese and a dash of italian salad dressing while the cheese is melting and the bbq sandwiches were slathered in bby sauce
so a big pivot in my plans! they are doing road work on the street in from of my house so i had to park the truck in the driveway
they are going to be done tomorrow so i might just let it sit where it is and get the smog on sat
but i just got this big bag of chicken strips at costco
they looked good and i ahve all the sauce, but once i made them they werent as breaded as i would like so its not like a dipping strip or nugget
but they would be perfect for making somethign like a chicken parm! or country fried chicken i ahve all the ingredients in the house for the parm ; sauce, noodles and cheese ( we have provolone and parm) and could whip up a white gravy that would knock your socks off

Italian dressing on the cheesesteak, that’s in place of any S&P on the meat? Interesting. It’s got vinegar and oil as well so that helps with flavor and juiciness.
Ive marinated meats before in italian dressing but havent used it during actual cooking like that.
There’s this greek lasagna that’s called pastichio, you could make it with the noodles, white sauce, cheese and chicken and then bake it all together. Could be grinding, even better if u leave the chicken on top with a bit of cheese so it gets a bit crisp.

Air yards per attempt (aypa?) is a good measure of how vertical an offense is, I think anything over 9 is pretty high.
The thing about stetson is that the rams offense could still be above average if stafford goes down. If kupp goes down also then maybe it drops to league avg or worse.

aypa sounds about right, it was a low number where like you said the highest qbs had numbers in the 10's and i think someone had a 12, but most qbs are in the 8-9 aypa

saw the colts game last night and it was a pretty fun game for four quarters
they played ar15 (he actually wore #5,but the name sticks!) for the whole first half and the porn stach garner minshew
ar15 has some zip on the ball and he even got out of a sack because he is strong

especially when you put a sauce on it it comes out really good
i got the idea when the mrs wouldent get me tv dinners so i decided i would make my own at home
the thing about a tv dinner is you dont want to spend all night cooking
throw some chicken strips in the air fryer and make some instant mashed potatoes
while you are waiting for the strips amke yourself a good white gravy, butter flour, and some chicken stock are a quick and easy move
stir that shit so its smooth as hawks balls and generously apply to the taters and chicken strips!
crack a can of corn next to that and you have country fried steak'ish in less than 20 min
/the strips are the thing that takes the longest
yeah i used the dressing to add some juice to the meat and keep the cheese from sdticking to the pan
it came out better then expected and i will def do that again next time i make cheese steak sandwiches

i wanted to tell you guys about this show on netflix i found.its actually not bad.its called Murderville and its actually more of a game show but its pretty funny.will arnett is a detective and every episode he has a new trainee detective who is a celibrity guest star but they have to do improve.they dont know the script.for instance they had Marshawn Lynch on one episode for some reason and every episode someone dies and the guest celibrity has to guess who the murderer is.it kinda like a game show.its diferrent but not bad.its obvously a comedy but lots of improve.its funny to see the celebs laughing when they try to figure out what to say.its worth a look.only 6 episodes.they had sharon stone on one.conan obrien on another..thats as far as i got.

If your serious about the saffron,or were you just messing with me doesn't matter.ive only dealt with it ounce or twice.but what I do know about spice is the more you chop it up the more goes along way.so I'm not gonna give recipe cause I don't regularly mess with the most expensive spice in world.used to be weed but not anymore.anyway my advice would be chop it up as fine in whatever dish your gonna game with as little as you can.so take a little chop it up good then use it.if you just use a frew little,what the fuck you call them? Not even a sprig.idk.chop it up and use a few leaves or whatever they are called as garnish.then you know it's fancy.i doubt anyone would know.just use it as garnish like all the crook fucks.they can't tell
