that insta pot is one of the mrs favorite kitchen gadgets and i can believe the mileage she is getting out of that thing
it often starts with browning something off in the pot then adding liquid and more ingredients to slow/ pressure cook
the thing does it all and i keep hearing more and more good recipes
/a freind told me today how they made cheese cake in the things and it was bomb, super creamy and totally delish!
thats funny you mentioned that we are going dark for a week before the final game
the mrs was asking "what are you ging to do when footballs over" type things last weekend after the games and i was kind of quiet before i answered
the typical pattern goes: a couple weeks just moping around and aimless day drinking (not the focused drinking i do during the season)
then i remember all the things i like doing outside
/we are goign to hike a small trail close to home this weekend
have you seen that aron hernandez doc they have on nertflix? my assistant at work mentioned it today and it looked really good
what do you do during the off season usually? plus we have the draft
/in addition to all the fun stuff we talked about last offseason
im all for trash talking during the off season too, plus it looks lie this might shape up to be a really good off season
what is washington going to do with the #2 pick? how about detroit and ny?
/all three teams have their qb in place and there is only one really stand out pass rusher i could see going top-5
someone is goign to trade down
hope your week is goign strong and you are getting set for a solid weekend

Sage, eh, Jellyfish? Alright, i hear you, might have to try that out next time im making fried chicken. And here i thought sage was just that stuff hippies burned to cover up the smell of weed smoking.

Yeah, ive heard of people making cheesecake in a slowcooker, never knew how that really worked but then again ive never made cheesecake before.

Heh, love ur comment about 'focused drinking' during football season vs the 'aimless drinking' during the offseason. Ur totally right of course, at least when ur drinking during a game, at noon or so, you have an excuse, whereas during the offseason where's ur excuse for drinking at noon? It's even worse for u west coast people, with the early games starting at 10am.

I havent heard about the Hernandez documentary, ill have to check it out. Im guessing most patriots fans arent going to be too enthused about it, but it's not like belichick or kraft ever suspected he'd be this much of a monster. Although i guess there concerns about him being involved in a shooting in college at U of Florida, so it's not like his thuggishness is totally out of the blue.

I think last offseason we talked draft, and free agency, and food. Maybe this year we'll have more to talk about with the XFL. I think last year we talked a little about the AAF (Alliance of american football) before it folded. Hopefully the XFL is more popular and entertaining.

Im pretty sure Chase Young, the DE from OSU, will go first to whichever team doesnt want a QB. Bengals will want Burrow, redskins may want Tua if they like him better than haskins - maybe theyll trade haskins in that case, like arizona traded rosen once they got kyler.

Lions pick at #3, most mock drafts by 'experts' dont have them picking a QB. Stafford was playing really well before he fractured his back and missed the last 8 games (half the season), and he's still only 32 years old (he started week 1 of his rookie year in 2009, so he just finished his 11th yr in the league) so you could say he's got a good 4-5 years of his prime left. Maybe someone will want to jump ahead of miami, who has the #5 pick, and grab tua. Maybe chargers, bucs, raiders, colts, steelers, bears? Roethlisberger, even if he comes back and plays well next season, will be 39 in the 2021 season, u have to figure the 'burgh, who are one of the best-run teams in football, will want to plan for life after Big Ben. Bears and colts have qb's who are better scramblers than passers. So maybe Detroit can get a boatload of picks from someone who wants Tua bad.

most of the mock drafts ive seen have burrows going to the bengals
it makes sense, the need a new qb and he seems to be the big ticket right now
so you follow college football, yeah
who would you say are the top-5 qb; what do you think about that hurt kid from oklahoma?
i think the giants are in a good position to trade down @#4
/so do you think the raiders are over carr?
i was jsut checking out a mock draft on nfl.com and it had the chargers going for a OT?!?
rivers is done with the chargers so they need a new qb
btw,f-spanos
/they also had the 9ers picking last so we can guess ho they think is going to win the super bowl
oh and what do you think about the rumors of brady leaving new england?
i get up super early on my own so i dont mind the 10a games
but i dont really have no excuse for my day drinking brother, i just like drinking i guess and i am a bit of a drunk
/fwiw: im drinking right now
its super foggy outside and we are going for a walk in teh canyon this morning
hope your weekend is off to a great start my man

I use sage for roasted fowl for sure. I don't know about that burning thing, you might be right.

One sure fire way to make make great fried chicken is to use Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning. I mix it into the flour. That shit is great on chicken and pork. Pork chops on the grill with Tony Chachere's- get outta here! Here's a visual aid.

Yup, plus Burrow is from Ohio, he spent the first 3 years of his college career at Ohio State, could never crack the starting lineup, so transferred to LSU. He had an alright 2018 (16tds, 11ints) before exploding in 2019, finished the year with 64 total tds (including playoffs) and won the heisman.

I was skeptical at first with him being the #1 qb over tua, who's had 3 good years in college; well, the first year he only played in garbage time before winning the national championship game by playing the 2nd half vs georgia and leading the tide from a 17pt deficit. But even in garbage time he looked great, and in his 2 years as a starter he's averaged 8 or 10 yards per attempt and td's on 8% of his passes, something ridiculous like that. But seeing more of Burrow in the college playoffs and in the big regular season win vs Bama, he looks like the read deal, quick with his reads, very accurate, good velocity, tough, mobile. Maybe he's not a one year wonder like trubisky, and honestly he did start 2 years in college, even if his 2018 season was like 1/3 as good as last year.

I dont watch much college football but i do try to catch the really big games, matchups between top 5 teams and the playoffs.

Other than Burrow and Tua, Herbert from oregon, Fromm from Georgia, Love from utah state might round out the top 5 college qb's. Those last 3 might go in the first round too, depending on how it shakes out.

I think ur right, rivers is done with the chargers, i think he's moved his family to florida recently so even if he comes back next season he won't have his family near him, maybe that means he's definitely not coming back. F-spanos.

'Experts' keep saying brady will leave NE but i find it hard to imagine a better situation for him than belichick and the pats. Maybe the chargers, maybe the raiders, those are big if's though.

It's hard to figure out what gruden will do since he's so supportive in public of his qb's, but the raiders had an underwhelming year, they were pretty good early but faded badly the 2nd half of the season. He'll have some good stretches here and there, but it's pretty evident at this point that derek carr isn't ever going to be an elite, top 5-7 QB in this league. So if gruden sees an opportunity to upgrade at the most important position on his team, you have to think he would jump at it.

I've slacked off on the drinking lately, which i guess isnt a bad thing but im going to have to play some catch up later this year.
biggrin.gif

I like a good foggy day sometimes, gives off a mystery sort of vibe to a nice hike, although i suppose it's dangerous if you cant see where youre going.

I dont have that much experience with tony chacheres, but i do love me some good 'ol cajun food. That's some good eating down in the delta/bayou. As far as regional cuisines, it's right up there (imo) with Kansas City bbq, Tex-mex, and African-American soul food. It's food like that that makes me wish i had two mouths and two stomachs and didn't have to worry about my waist line exceeding my height (in inches).
smile.gif

But actually, im an idiot: tony's is a creole seasoning, and creole is different than cajun. I guess creole originated in the city, and cajun in the country/rural areas?

I did use tony's in a rub for a brisket this past summer, it was good, i could still taste some heat in the bark of the meat when it was done. Havent used it in much else but i think hawk is right, it seems like a good seasoning to use when you want to add some kick to a dish, just have to make sure you dont use much salt elsewhere.

Yknow, subrob, I know ur just joking, but ya never know, if the raiders nail this upcoming draft (they have #12 and 19 in the 1st rd, #19 is from the bears khalil mack trade two years ago) and 3 third round picks (but no second rd picks), plus the rookies from last year continue to get better, they could be something next year. Of their 1st round picks from last year, josh jacobs was very good before he got hurt, johnathan abrams their safety played 1 game before sustaining a season ending shoulder injury, and clelin ferrell, who they spent the #4 overall pick on, kind of sucked but still has potential. Maybe if they draft justin herbert from oregon and he blows up like a lamar jackson or patrick mahomes they could compete for a lombardi in 2022. Pipe dreams, i know, but could you imagine vegas if the raiders won the superbowl? I bet hookers will be giving free blowjobs on the strip. And bababooey will be right there, first in line, cause u dont want to be at the end of the line for that sort of thing...

i remember j'fish mentioned that tony'c seasoning before
i went out and got myself a big shaker bottle of it just on what he said and it really brings the flavor
the stuff is good on just about anything from meat to veg; it kind of like a seasoned salt with a kick and a few shakes brings a quick creole/ cajun taste
hawk is right about it being kind of salty, but you just compensate later in the rcipe when adding your own salt
its just the thing you want in your fry batter my man and even if im not going for that loo-z-anna taste it has a nice flavor profile to start your seasoning mix with
/i like adding a lot of dried onion and garlic to it

thanks for the rundown on the college game baba'
i dont really scout that scene as much as i could but i have a few friends whom i think know the game so i listen to them
i do watch the highlights from time to time and check out some of the better players film, buts it can be hard to really evaluate players at that level unless you really follow the game
/not all college teams are made put together and sometimes its great players playing against bad teams you see in the highlights
i agree with you about brady not really having a lot of reasons to leave new england
i do thnk rivers will be playing somewhere else next year
no problem taking a break from the booze
the mrs isnt drinking right now man and im relaly impressed at how easliy she put it down
she is working on some professional certification for the past few months and is coming up on her test so she decided to quite drinking a few weeks ago
at first her sleep was all messed up and she was sort of reved up a lot but she is getting better
save me a spot in line brother is the raiders do take it to the super bowl
not like i can really get down like that much annymore but hey, i dont want to totally miss the party

glad to see you posting up subrob
was waiting for you all season brother
the raiders have taken las vegas y storm and the strip cant wait for them to touch down
i agree that d.carr is not teh qb that is going to take them to teh next level and they are in a good position to trade up
/like baba mentioned they have a couple first rounders to work with

I looked at the ingredient list for tony chachere's and it seems to be salt, red and black pepper, chili powder (their own secret blend) and garlic. No msg or anything like that, but there is silicon dioxide to prevent caking.

Im thinking couldnt you make your own imitation of tony's creole seasoning? Thats my thought when looking at all these seasonings/sauces, is that if you use a lot of it it might be more economical to make your own imitation. But that's just the cheapness in me speaking...

Pop, do you ever use anything with MSG in it? Im thinking of getting some vegeta, which is this vegetable soup base with msg in it. Supposed to make some really killer barley-beef soup with it, or really any kind of soup you can make delicious with it. I know you make some soups, with the bone broth you make from rotisserie chicken bones, a lot of soup bases like those chicken bouillon cubes have msg in them. Not a lot, just enough that, with the salt, gives it a nice savoriness.

Yeah Pop, even Alabama, in the SEC west, only played 3 ranked teams all year: Texas A&M, LSU and Auburn. And clemson played nobody in the ACC; florida state is usually a worthy opponent but has sucked (by their standards) the last couple years. North carolina doesnt have a bad football program and clemson eked out a close win over them but other than that, the ACC is a basketball conference not a football one. So when looking at college tape of elite players you always have to wonder how they'll do against competition equally as good as them. That's why games like the senior bowl and east-west shrine game are important to see how these college stars measure up to each other.

It's good that your woman is laying off the drink so she can better herself professionally. I've had to lay off the smoke a couple times so i can pass a drug test, it's not easy at first but it's worth it in the end. Hopefully a big fat raise comes with the certification! And im sure youll be ready with a nice bottle of red wine as soon as the test is over.

Partying in vegas is every young man's fantasy, not sure how i could do it with the woman watching my every move. Id have to fake my own death i think... :dunno:

I think herbert could be available at #12 or #19, so if they wanted him they wouldnt have to trade up. But if they wanted to jump into the top 5 for Tua, would #12 and 19 be enough by themselves, or would they have to add in future picks or one or two of their 3rd rounders from this year? Also, tua has to prove he can still be a good player coming off a bad hip injury, and who knows how durable he'll be in the pros. The SEC has elite players, but every defender in the NFL is as good as the best SEC defenders, so if he doesnt 'learn' how to take a hit without being seriously injured his pro career may be a short one.

Antonio Brown was arrested again for getting into a fight with a moving company over the shipping of some of his stuff from California to Florida. Apparently the fight started over the 4,000 bill for the move; he eventually paid it after a lot of arguing and fighting (he threw a rock at the truck causing $850 in damage) then refused to pay for the damage to truck and tried to forcibly remove his stuff from the truck. He got charged with felony burglary for forcing his way into the truck.

I swear, this knucklehead is getting into so much trouble over what should be pennies to him. He had a contract paying him 1 million dollars a week (17M over a 17 week season) and he lost that because he refused to pay off some women who later accused him of sexual misconduct. It's like tiger woods all over again, who also is notoriously cheap for a mega millionaire, if tiger had just thrown some cash their way (even a hundred grand isnt much to woods, who makes over 50M/yr with endorsements, it'd be like $100 to an average middle class person) they wouldnt have the incentive to sell their stories to all these tabloids, his wife wouldnt have found out he's been boffing 20 different women every year, he'd still be married and wouldnt have lost half his stuff in the divorce. True, she'd have known about the one affair that she caught on his cell phone and led to their fight where she smashed his truck with a golf club, but despite that it's likely she would have stuck with him, for the kids sake if nothing else. But when the other 20 women stepped forward in the months afterwards, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. If tiger had spent $3-4M (the equivalent of 3-4K to a middle class person) to buy their silence, that would have been money well-spent to save his marriage, save his kids emotional distress, save the hundred million she got in the settlement.

I mean, if you had a job paying you 50K/yr, and some homeless guy says he has video of you spitting and pissing on him when you were drunk and give me $100 or else im sending the video to your employer and on youtube, wouldnt you pay him the $100, especially if you couldnt find an equivalent job if you got fired? Thats whats happening to this knucklehead, he's too cheap and stupid to pay his victims any hush money and now he's cost himself his reputation and his fortune. Would any team touch him now after he assaulted some movers over a 5k bill? If you were a general manager or coach of a team would you want him on your squad?

Waaaaaddddduuuuuupppp...it was another gut shot season for sure! It's around...I dunno...the eighth consecutive teardown/rebuild "era" in last 18 years for the raiders. But there is plenty of reasons to be optimistic for the raiders. For only the second time in those 18 years.
If there is a city outside of Cali that fits the raiders, it's Vegas, and certainly no team that better fits Vegas.
DC is almost certainly not the future, but it isn't over for him yet. Raiders aren't drafting a QB in the first round, no way, and gruden most likely wouldn't start a rookie unless he had too. I don't think of him as elite, and I'm fine if they decide to part ways with him, but it would be hard as hell for Mayock and Chucky to replace him this year. And let's not forget, he has operated on an mvp level for 15 games in one season. He is capable of going on a run! He had to change his style when Chucky came in. 100% system QB. Not many people can go from instinct driven style to system style. The fact that the system is operating with an incomplete roster crippled the offense this year. The tight end was our leading receiver, and the only guy who made clutch catches is 5'10" (maybe) and 180(maybe) and got his ribs pushed thru his lungs.
Adding to the difficulty of replacing Carr this year is availability of free agents. The one I'd be most excited about is Bridgewater. But as a gm I'm not sure I'd be comfortable giving him a contract that will be worth more per season than DC. Which he will certainly get, wherever he ends up. And looks like drew may be retiring, so why not stay there anyway.

I've never been more certain of the first two picks the team has in the draft. Not who they will be, but what they will be. Wide receiver and ilb. The craziest it will get is a trade down, pick up a second rounder and lower first, as we have no second round picks. Maybe a corner gets picked in first Rd w a wr if that happens. Enough linebackers in second round.

Free agents is where it will really turn for raiders this year. With all the positives going, there are some GLARING weaknesses that need to be addressed before QB ... So glaring that Compton came in off THE FUKN COUCH this year and was the best ilb we've had in 12 years.

Anyways, all of the above, and more, is the reason DC is gonna be the starting QB for the Vegas Raiders. And #fucktombrady

And ya, last year's 1st rounders rocked!
I don't think Ferrell sucked, it was a solid, even first season. There was no splash for sure! Lol. That came from Maxx! But Ferrell got what? 4.5 sacks? Mack got 4. I saw zero reason he won't be a great player.
Luckily, Abram getting hurt didn't hurt us too bad. KJ had a very good year, and Erik Harris kinda broke out. Good enough we had Joyner playing slot corner all year.
Have to see how Mullen ends up. People who know alot more about it say he will be a top notch corner, we shall see. I love rookie contracts. Best change NFL has ever made.

Reggie cleaned up the worst salary cap situation in professional American sports. Mayock rocked out his first year. I'm excited for his second.

im with you and think the raiders are going to stick with d.carr this next year
he has shown flashes of brilliance in the past and maybe las vegas is just what he needs to light his fire
they did do well in the last draft and that young rb is the kind of guy you could build a ground game around

i try and catch some of the college bowl games because its what i hope are the best teams
one seasoning i like to use is this greek seasoning called cavandash (or somehting like that) and it turns out that has msg in it
i still like it and especially shake it into the fried chicken
i remember my mom growing up having a bottle of MSG, it was like these shards of what could have been salt
i dont mind using it and it brings that something special to the palate; but i try not to go overboard with the stuff
f'n antonio brown
im trying not to talk about this clown but man, whats wrong with him?!
its not a matter of is he ok, but more like how f'n crazy is he
i dont think he will ever play football in the nfl if he keeps pulling stuff like he has been doing
hope your week is off to a great start baba and you are kicking off the year of the rat with a bang!
what are your plans for the super bowl?

You can tell subrob knows his football, those are two of the most well-reasoned posts ive read in this thread all year.
You guys make a good point, that you could do a lot worse than Derek Carr as your starting QB, and subrob is right in that his 2015-2016 years were pretty good (2016 raiders went 12-4 and Carr had 4k yds, 28-6 td-int) but he still feels like captain checkdown to me, and not in a good way like tom brady, more in a bad way like trubisky or other bad qb's: "Im not going to risk a more difficult throw downfield, ill toss it to my RB 3yds away and leave it up to him [RB gets swarmed as soon as he catches it for a short gain]. Even brady will push it downfield once in a while, just to keep the defense honest, and any good qb will pick up 10-20yd completions at least several times a game. Carr seems to struggle to do even that consistently.
But he does seem to be improving every year in gruden's offense. His yards per attempt, after ranking in the bottom 10 the last few years, was #10 in the league in 2019 (8.0 avg yards/attempt). His 21-8 tds-ints arent eye-popping numbers, but it's a 2.5 td to int ratio so he's always done a good job of keeping turnovers low even if his td numbers are avg at best. And subrob is right, their best receivers were a TE (converted college WR who almost washed out of the league cause he couldnt put the blunt down) and a scrappy undersized WR who spent 5 yrs in college (he was a 24yr old rookie, as old as deshaun watson who just finished his 3rd year in the league). Did we forget that they were supposed to have antonio brown as their #1? They spent 3rd and 5th rd picks to get him.
Subrob seems to like bridgewater as the best of the available FA qb's. Im not so sure brees will retire, and if someone offers teddy a foles-like contract (22M/yr) then the saints wont be able to match that. I still think teddy, while good, was more a product of the saints offensive machines (good playcaller, o-line, RB and WR) so he might not be all that great going to a worse team but we'll see where he ends up.
Ferrell had 4.5 sacks and 24 total tackles? Mack had 8.5 sacks, not 4, and 40 total tackles, but ur right, mack definitely had a disappointing year for being the highest paid defender in nfl history. Think there were a couple month long stretches where he didnt get a sack at all. I thought Ferrell at #4 was a bit of a stretch, his college teammate Dexter Lawrence (#17 to the giants) probably had a more impressive rookie season than he did but ur right, he'll get better and better as he gains experience and strength. And subrob is spot on, raiders had some really impressive later round draftees, maxx crosby was a 4th rd pick and picked up 10 sacks and 46 tackles (better #'s than mack), he was so good i think i picked him up for a bit in my fantasy league where we start two defensive linemen. Hunter renfrow ended the season with two straight 100yd receiving games, he had never even had one 100yd game in his 7 yrs in college (j/k, only feels like he was at clemson for that long). Like the bears, the raiders seem to get more production out of their lower rd picks than their 1st and 2nd rounders. Except josh jacobs, Pop is right, that guy is a future elite RB, especially when they start using him on passing downs more.

Youve mentioned the cavender's seasoning before, if i ever find a bottle of it in the grocery im going to have to pick it up, i do love a good greek chicken (roasted chicken, super tender and flavorful with lots of lemon and greek seasoning).
MSG is best when used in place of like 1/4 of the salt in a recipe, from what i read. Ive got some burgers im keen to try it on when i get a chance. Will supposedly make burgers taste like steak.
I also bought another brisket that ive got to cook, it's been warm lately so shouldnt be too hard to fire up the cooker for an all night smoke. Will post pics of all this cooking once im done.

People are saying that brown's erratic behavior started after he got knocked out of a playoff game against the bengals in 2016 or so, a brutal helmet to helmet shot by our favorite ILB, vontaze burfict (briefly teammates on the raiders this year). Ever since then he's gotten steadily crazier with his antics. So maybe he's not totally to blame for his BS, maybe he cant truly help himself if his brain is wrecked.

Not sure what im doing for the superbowl yet, will probably just watch it at home alone like the loser that i am. Lol, at least there will be more food for me, which i can use as comfort. [cries as he stuffs delicious cheeseburger into gaping maw] I'm kidding, Im kidding! Maybe ill invite some peeps over, or see if a bud is hosting a viewing party. Will let u know.

hey brother, nothing wrong with going solo for the big game
if you are like me you are more interested in the football game and all the fun that goes with it, but i dont need a room full of chatter boxes spoiling my good time
/last super bowl party i went to was definitely fun but the kooks who were there werent about football at all
i ended up in a back room with a few of the other real fans watching the tv on a small screen but actually watching the game
in the main room the commercials seemed to be getting more "likes" and people would not stop talking
/who cares if you dont know who "he" is or what the last play was or will be;please just stuf
but i do agree that the food is a big part of the fun and dont mind having a nice spread to enjoy
we are getting a couple take out pizzas plus the mrs will have her veggie selection, plus some chips and nuts kind of snacks
the cavandash is really good on its own or as a building block for more flavor
i even made a passable gyro from the seasoning, ground beef and ground pork ( i think they use lamb but i dont really like lamb)
kneed it into this meat loaf like thing and bake it then slice it thin with some taziki sauce and flat bread and its on!
yeah subrob knows his football and when it comes to the raider nation the guy can be spot on; plus i like his swagger
we will see how they do next season but we still have one more game to go boys!
great graphic j'fish!
i had no idea how evenly matched both teams were!
the 9ers have been on a tear all season and even when they lose they still keep it compteaive
but if there is one team that can go toe to toe with them its mahomes and the chiefs
the guy is playing like a champion and has only gotten better as the season progressed
a freind was playing that hit by burfect and saying how that was the turning point for ab'; but i think its mostly him and his a-ho personality catching up with him
he thought he was so smart getting traded to the raiders and then playing mr pita so he could get traded to another team; only to have things really explode in his face
hes f'd himself on so many levels that i think its best to just move on and let him fade away into obscurity
/maybe him and kaep can have their own little work outs/ pity parties and whine about why nobody likes them
#F: brady+brown+ kaep+( last but not least) spanos

Hey Hawk, sorry to hear you’ve got to work during the game, but Buzz is right, there should be a radio broadcast of superbowl 54 on your local westwood one affiliate. It’s 670AM around the chicago area, maybe 620AM if youre near the wisconsin border would come in clearer. Also, like you said the weather will be nice and I actually don’t mind listening to radio broadcasts, it revs up my imagination more hearing the plays described instead of seeing them.
And Pop makes a good point, a typical superbowl party involves a lot of non-football fans who just want to watch commercials or gossip, that can be distracting to someone who just wants to appreciate the game.
You made ur own gyro cone? Hardcore, brother. And I know what u mean about lamb, it’s a pretty gamey, kind of funky meat. Lamb chops can be pretty good but other cuts probably arent as tasty. Especially lamb fat, that’s some pretty strong-tasting, strong smelling stuff, that can be overwhelming if youre not used to it.
Yeah, J-fish put up a really good graphic showing how competitive this game will likely be. Didn’t know that the niners actually averaged more pts/game than the chiefs, and the chiefs D gave up the same amount of pts/game as the much more vaunted niners D.
So it’ll be the niners dominant zone running attack vs the chiefs somewhat suspect run defense. The chiefs gave up almost 5yds per carry to opposing RB’s, and were ranked 4th worst in that stat league-wide during the regular season. On the other hand, you have mahomes and the fastest group of receivers in the league (tyreek & mecole might be the quickest WRs in the league, kelce is the best TE in the league and a great athlete, watkins and demarcus robinson are big and strong as well as fast) vs the niners D. Richard sherman is the only star in the secondary; he is on the wrong side of 30 but was graded as the best corner in the league this year. The niner’s pass rush is the nfl’s best, and theyre the only ones who can stop KC’s machine-like scoring. If they can get to mahomes early and often, knock him around, prevent him from converting 3rd and longs, they have a chance to hold KC under 25pts. And if the niners can run all over the chiefs, then scoring 28+pts is very doable.
So what would you guys say to a 31-23 49ers over Chiefs prediction?

I'm going with the Chiefs, their team is pretty damn complete, with possibly the best QB of this generation at the helm.... The 49ers might start out strong, but Mahomes an Reid will adjust and take over.. 45-31 Chiefs
