I was just at another sports thread, thought it was one in the same for a sec, but yeah all upset the Pats lost because OK they weren't their best and still better than most teams on any given day, but still fought hard to have one final chance, and to have it all taken away by a non-call by a stupid ref, then Carroll had some dig still don't know what, but it sure sucks! But we will fight not just other teams but fan bias and ref/NFL bias and still come out on top, and thereby put all asshats in their place!

Hey Denver! Y'all can have Brock back. He sucks. How the Texans keep winning is astonishing. Bortles has some bad mechanics, but, damn at least he can complete more than 50% of his passes. Now we get to go play in Mexico City this week. Oh joy!!

It's nice that Tommy has a sense of humor about the whole deflategate thing; he never mentioned that specific term during the foot locker ad but it's pretty clear what he was referring to.
It's kind of amazing that the texans are 6-3 and leading the afc south when brock has looked worse than cutler most of the time; well, maybe not as bad, he may not complete many passes or for many yards but at least he doesnt turn it over. Much.
Worst part is that he's almost sure to be the starter next year as well, because of the guaranteed $ they gave him.
Rams are 4-5 and are starting #1 overall pick Goff this weekend. They look headed for another 7-9 season unless Goff can pick up the offense, and maybe free up Todd Gurley to actually pick up some decent yardage once in a while...

In college Goff took exactly zero snaps under Center and never called a played in the huddle always got it from the side lines. Can't help but think Goff is a massive bust who is gonna look like it come Sunday. There is no one I hate more in the nfl than Jeff fisher. He is like George costanza trying to get fired from the Yankees, any one remember that?

Jeff Fisher once had a 13-3 season and made the superbowl with Steve McNair as his QB, where they lost to Kurt Warner's Rams. Since then he's been the epitome of the 8-8 or 7-9 coach. I cant talk bad about him, it's been a while since the Bears even sniffed 7 wins in a season...

How did Bud adams ruin fisher? Other than firing him, of course. Was it because he wanted to draft vince young, and fisher didnt want to touch young with a 10 foot pole?
In retrospect, can't blame fish for feeling that way.
Whenever Gronk doesn't play, the Pats offense doesn't seem as dominant. You would think with Blount, white, bennett, edelman hogan and amendola, they have enough offensive talent around brady for gronk's absence to not matter as much, but he's basically brady's security blanket at this point, and the attention the defense pays to him gives just a little more opening for the other guys to find the cracks in the defense.
Lately, the niners (and kaerpernick) look all right in the first half and terrible in the 2nd. Maybe that's coaching (half time adjustments?), maybe it's something else. But if kaepernick can start playing in the 2nd half like he does in the 1st, he'd have a win or two by now...
Titans haven't been half bad this year, not like last year when they finished 2-14 and awarded the 1st pick in the draft (which they traded to the rams). Luck is supposedly out this thanksgiving game against the steelers with a concussion. Is that the first of his nfl career? With as many times as he's hit the deck during his pro career, that would be amazing.
Bears lost to the giants, and may have lost cutler for the season with a shoulder injury (like, WHATEVER) and jerrell freeman to a PED suspension. I guess him and Alshon Jeffery share the same roids dealer. They need a smarter one, who'll tell them how not to get caught. Geez. Dont these knuckleheads know they're testing for HGH now? Geez...
'Boys have won 9 straight, which even the aikman and staubach teams never did during the regular season.
Dak for MVP anyone?
Can the Bears draft a franchise QB on the 2nd or 3rd day of the draft next year?
Helps that he has the league's best blockers in front of him, the league's best RB, a top 5 receiver, a Hall of Fame TE, etc etc.
Not sure Dak could have this success with any other team (patriots maybe) but he's sure been impressive. Best rookie QB this year by a country mile. When he was putting up impressive #'s during the preseason, everyone said, wait till the regular season, everyone plays very basic defensive sets during the preseason. Well, after losing his first start he's won 9 straight and kept a really good QB (when he's healthy) on the bench; it hasn't been dink and dunk stuff either, he's putting up numbers.

Brock did better with a green laser in his eyes. That was the best game he has played all season even though they lost. Who knew there were so many Raider fans in Mexico? At least the Texans made a game of it. All their other previous games on national TV went very badly.
