That guy is a beast! Bills have stopped the run pretty well this year but that guy made us look foolish. Impressive!

McCoy was def not 100% yesterday. Had he been, we may have had a better outcome.

In the end, they choked and Miami played until the end. Good for them. Pricks haha

Let this be a testament:
If I die of a fukn heart attack this year...it's because of my Raiders!
Just as long as I see em back in the playoffs before it happens!

Go cowboys yes! They beat the eagles in overtime after fucking up all night and tying the game in the last minutes. Watch out in the playoffs were coming to kick some ass this year. I can't wait for the revenge game against the giants the cowboys only loss this year is to them and by a little bit at the end of the first season game.

Don't think that Packs will make playoffs. Pretty hurt. With Lacy out of the game, I don't think that wr and rb squads will be productive enough. Sucks.

whata wacky week of ties!
been watching football more years than i care to remember and this is the most tied going into overtime action i have ever seen!

raiders look like they are carrs team now and the rookies are still heating things up across the league

how bout dem boys?
/seriously, how can they even think of putting romo back in with the start this young kid is having?!?
/++zeke elliot is the shit

i dont think we have seen the last of the eagles yet tho

so im hearing nfl tv ratings are down
lots of possible answers (retiring superstars, kaeps kneeling, head owies,etc...)
BUT could this also be because of the heavy hand of the ginger, roger goodel?
and his No Fun L eft style
football needs its big hits and superstars;who dosent like a little high stepping every now and then?
its a tough game and not everyone is going to be a fan, (thats why they have baseball)
/go cubs!
but by trying too hard to make the game safer and clean up its image, arent we loosing something

lets let them play football,man!`

Well well, bears got their 2nd win of the season when the vikings defense failed to show up. Cutler actually played all right and Jordan Howard was a beast; too bad i sat him in fantasy football...

Impressive comeback by the cowboys and Dak to steal one from the eagles.
Packers lost a shootout with the Falcons; they're still 4-3 with plenty of season left. RB is somewhat of an issue but theyve been playing WR's back there and still moving the ball. Rodgers looks to have shaken off his year long funk so you have to think if he plays like a top 3 QB rest of season they'll have a better than decent shot at the playoffs, especially if the vikings continue to struggle along the offensive line....

David Carr looks like a top 3-5 QB in this league. 500 yds passing is impressive. At 6-2 on top of the AFC west this looks like the year they'll finally make the playoffs...

Patriots are the class of the league and brady has 12 tds and 0 int's in the 4 games he's been back. Seems like he plays even better than usual with properly inflated footballs...

I have a different feeling than most about dak over romo. I agree with everyone that he should continue starting for now but j still have a wait and see approach. Everyone wants to praise him after last weeks game because of what the score board said but if you watched objectively dak played like complete shit and should've lost that game single handley. He threw a bad end zone int, should've thrown another if it wasn't for terrance Willian's, and one of the last drives of the game he rolled out scrambled almsost got sacked and threw the ball wildly which was just a an inch away from being picked in the redzone yet again. Top that off by he was coming off a bye week and playing at home and was very inaccurate. I'm not saying dak isn't the future but let's remember he is a rookie who will make mistakes. I am a huge dak fan probably one of the few that said I'd like dak coming outta college, never thought he be in this situation but j liked him. To me romo will be needed at some point and cowboy fans and the media will regret praisngdak and forgetting about romo after such a shitty game.

Zeke Elliott is on track to break Eric Dickerson's rookie rushing record of 1808 yards, so that's a very appropriate shirt.
Lets just hope the 'Boys don't run him into the ground during the season; he's still just a rookie and isn't used to a 16 game season plus playoffs. Albert Morris is a more than capable backup and should be used to keep Zeke under 350 carries during the regular season; so far Zeke is projected right at 354 carries at his current pace.

I expect Romo is almost fully healthy now and will be useful as a backup to Prescott, if Prescott gets dinged up during a game. He's young and big and strong but so are the guys chasing him every time he drops back, so it's more likely than not romo will get to play the hero at some point this season or playoffs.

How bout those Las Vegas Raiders, showing up the Broncos last night? Derek Carr didnt have to do much, as the run game and the defense took turns dominating the defending champs.

Speaking of the AFC West, after not scoring a single TD last year, Melvin Gordon leads the entire league in TDs this season. Quite a turnaround.

I agree baba, 350 is a good number of touches for him and he shouldn't tack on many more unless it's during the playoffs. I have to admit I didn't think zeke would be this good, I knew he was good but he seems almost special. Runs with power, speed, and elusiveness. Can catch the ball no problem and most importantly he is already an exceptional blocker which keeps him in on 3rd downs and gives the offense more versatility. I can't believe I am going to say this but the cowboys have done nice job in the draft the past 4-5 years and is showing, I still hate Jason garrett and think we have zero pass rush which will kill us come playoffs but I am almost back to the point of being a semi-confident boys' fan again. As far as Romo I can think he makes are team more dangerous than when dak is in but how does anyone mess with this chemisty right now. At the end of the day we have 2 legit starting Qb's where as some teams don't even have 1, what a problem to have in the NFL. If Dak starts to play like a rookie especially come playoff time you have Romo to relieve him, or if dak gets hurt. If for some reason they do end up starting Romo and he gets hurt again which isn't out of the question he's fragile at this point, you have Dak to come right back in and not miss a beat. I think a lot of teams would kill to be in this position.

Speaking of those two, baba. They are both on my fantasy teams this year and yesterday I was rewarded big time. What a turn around for Gordon, guess they said he worked out with AP during the offseason which seems to have helped big time. I also thought the broncos would win last night impressive in division win for the raiders.

could this be the point where the raiders D comes to life?
their O has been doing all the heavy work so far, led by the young star on the rise, derek carr but that defense looks stacked
once you get both side clicking i think rivera has one hell of a team there

and how bout de boys?
seriously, when was the last time one team had two legit roty candidates?!?
if we voted today, who woudl it be? dak or zeke
/same question: league mvp?!?
//:the answer to mvp is matt ryan
/yee-haw!

yeah, i always like the way gordon ran and even when he was geting nowhere, i could see he had it in him
/the kid is a good runner and finishes off strong
the problem with the chargers is...
well i cant really tell you what our problem is
i guess its the distractions, because we are putting up the points and our D' is on the rise
its off the field stuff holding the chargers down now and maybe some bad coaching calls
lets settle this stadium bs (magic8ball says NO) and look at replacing mccoy
/hopes the chargers stay in sd even after not getting the new stadium

great weekend of games!

Elliott started the season off slow the first couple of games but he's been a beast ever since, with power speed and elusiveness. He always makes the first tackler or two miss; combine that with the 'Boys league-best offensive line, it's no wonder he's been tearing up even the league's best run defenses since. And such a dominant run game means that Dak doesnt have to do much on the ground, saving his body.
Im thinking Romo will be trade bait this offseason. Does he have any guaranteed $ left on his contract after this season? Probably, I think the last few years theyve extended him twice, in order to free up immediate cap space. Still, he's a Pro Bowler at the league's most important position. You have to think someone will snap him up if Jerry makes him available for a reasonable price in draft picks, assuming he's healthy (very iffy thing the last couple years).

The raiders' D woke up for the first time all season against the broncos, not sure if that's a blip on the radar or a trend but theyre 7-2 and first in the afc west. If they dont fade down the stretch it will be interesting to see how they do in the playoffs.

Tom Brady, not Matt Ryan, looks to be the MVP so far. We'll see how he does against the 'Hawks next week.

If san diego doesnt approve a stadium, the chargers look to have the inside track to be the Rams' co-tenant in LA. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. I guess if the jets and giants can share the meadowlands then the rams and chargers can share a stadium too - just have to make sure only one teams plays on any given day (the other team plays an away game, or thursday or monday night, etc).

The chargers are 4-5 and have won 3 straight, still have some catching up to do in the AFC west, where all other teams have at least 6 wins. But there's a chance.

Aaron Rodgers needs another game against the Bears to jumpstart the packers' offense again (sigh). Otherwise, it's been an up and down season for the Pack. Maybe that's what happens when you're using mostly WRs as your RBs?

I think Boswell was trying to fool the ravens by faking a kick one way and then kicking it the other way with his back foot. The fact that he totally whiffed makes you think 'huh?' but the intent was good, just not the execution.

Ah, classic charlie brown. Pull the ball just when he goes to kick it. I'd give anything to see that happen in a real NFL game...

Technically, both the Cowboys and the Pats have 7-1 records. But Brady has as many TDs as Dak in half the games played. I wouldnt be surprised to see Dak or Ezekiel get some MVP votes if they finish with the league's best record, or tied for the best record, but you have to think they would steal votes from each other. Between Dak, Zeke and that O-line, hard to pin down one MVP on that team, whereas Brady is the Pats offense (although having Gronk helps, and Blount is having a pretty good year).
Stats wise, it's going to be hard for Brady to catch up to Matt Ryan (23 tds vs 12 for Brady), so I could see Matty Ice getting some MVP consideration if he finishes with 40+ tds and a top 2 seeding in the NFC...
