bubbleman was saying the other day that someone was having o-ring blowouts due to pressure formed by the volatility of the terpenes mixed with the rosin because they didn't follow instructions to mix the rosin and terps together and wait 24-36 hours before filling the pen. That seems like an awfully long fill procedure to me. I will reserve judgement until I get the chance to try one but as the terpenes don't ship to the UK,and as I won't try non-canna derived terpenes,I don't see that chance being in the forseeable future. I'd like to think tony and bubbleman have cracked it, although every pen I've ever hit with a concentrate inside has tasted like reclaim after the first couple of hits.

I agree with HB on the flavor of VG/PG/PEG. They are claiming that one vial (0.25 ml) will do two tanks. Still that's $150 for one gram (two tanks). I'm sure the flavor is off the charts, not to mention all the combinations of terps and rosin.
I had my bottom o-ring pop off in my pocket on one of the tanks. I think I broke it trying to fill it the first time. Glad it didn't have $75 worth of terpenes in it. I popped it back on and it's still working. I will smoke the rest and try and fix it.
No matter how you look at it, filling the tanks is a pain in the arse! They are quite tiny. Trying to melt rosin into them works, but is time consuming and messy.
There are probably better tanks/cartridges for rosin. I will say, the flavor is top notch. It hasn't changed or gotten burnt. I filled my second tank with some Cannatonic rosin. It tastes like cherry cough drops.

Why put terpenes in with your extracts? To me this is a shortcut when the extract is not tasty enough similar to Smirnoff ice, but that is my opinion I find rosin to be quite tasty as is.
It is my understanding that they use them to thin the rosin to an "e-juice" consistency so it can be used in e-cig type devices.
The only other options are PGP/VG/etc and they all add a certain (undesirable to most) taste.
At least that's how I understand it.

I agree I enjoy my rosin just the way it is and it is how I want to enjoy it.
Rosin has become my greatest tool for selecting plants, when I inhale, I want the full experience of the cultivar I am trying, I don't want to have to add all kinds of terpenes, that's not what I am looking for when I smoke, for me it's all about getting to know the cultivars I grow, not just to smoke something pretty.
That said, I dont know why so many people hate on bubbleman, I do not give a fuck that he uses his platform to sell his products, honestly, when I need bubblebags I buy bubblebags, simple, ...
For drysifting, I do not see any difference between the screens he sells and the ones used for shirt screen-printing so I think I overpaid when I bought them from his website.
The trick of using the stainless steel strainer to spread the bubblehash thin on cardboard works so well and I learned it from his videos. I was always scared I would lose too much stuck to the strainer and I am really small scale but one of his old video I watched recently and he was right, you can get 95% off of the strainer only by smacking it hard with the spoon.
Ive learned a lot on hash church too over the years so really I appreciate what he does for the community.
Can't blame him for wanting to make more money off of the cannabis industry, he already has his foot in the door big time and I think anyone would do the same.
His new pens are not ready, I don't think I will be buying one until they come up with something that doesnt look like it was created only to sell terpenes that they cant sell!

This just happened to me, I guess I over filled it or something. I was taking a big rip whem O-ring blew, almost got rosin in my eye. Blew everywhere lost most the tank. I will most likely go back to the Herculese.
I'll say one thing about this rosin stuff... it's fucking STICKY. Makes it damn hard to work with. I tried nitril gloves, silicone fingertips and even bread flour LOL and nothing seems to stand up to the stickiness of this rosin shit.
With all this talk of e-juice, I pressed out a quick gram of Barney's Farm Critical Kush rosin from mostly popcorn and skiff. Got about 10% return which isn't bad for skiff.
I mixed about 1/2 gram with some of the Vapeur Extract and heated it according to directions. I use just enough Vapeur Extract to cover the rosin.
This makes it a little thick but it's manageable in the syringe that was included with the VE. I DID NOT wait the 2 to 24 hours they recommend for lipid separation.
I put some in my V2-Cigs blank filter and some more in a tank designed for the same battery. The V2-Cig battery is not a 510 battery. And, it's a very low power compared to my VPro variable 510 that fits most of my other tanks.
I use the V2-Cig brand because it is small. It's about the size, shape and color as a real cigarette and I use e-cig and e-juice strictly for smoking cessation so it is what I use.
My point being, this setup is not a "big-rig", "modified", "big puff" or any of that other crap. Probably the lowest power unit on the market. LOL
And, this e-juice mix still vapes just fine.
There is very little PGP (which is mostly what Vapeur Extract is) in the mix. Probably 0.5:1 or even less. The recommended mix is 2:1 but, let's remember that they are selling the stuff so their instructions shoot for maximum usage by the consumer (rinse, lather, repeat). At 0.5:1, there is very little of the "metal" taste associated with PGP and almost no "sweetness" either. It's a pretty decent taste. I will need to make some from other strains to see if I can tell the difference in taste. I have some Cinderella99 to try. That has a pretty strong taste.
It's no comparison to hitting the straight rosin whether it's a coil or a nail but if you really must use e-juice, this really isn't all that bad. It does taste like cannabis... not fluffy, watermelon / vanilla crap. Tastes kind of like pot that you eat. You know that 'smell' and 'taste' you get from brownies or other fat based canna treats? The vapor tastes a little like that.
I'll make some C-99 and see if I can tell any difference.
Another thing... Mrs Ringodoggie said there is no canna smell so this is A-OK for public use.
EDIT: I just tried what I had in the "tank" and it was very tasty. The first test was in a "blank". That's a cotton filled chamber that looks like a cigarette filter. I think some of the bad taste was the cotton.
This is just a tank with 2 wicks. I was giving the wicks a chance to soak up some of the juice.
This is almost acceptable, even for you "no way PGP" people. It is still a little "edible" tasting but overall, this is a very tasty blend. I'll try some Cinderella99 and see if I can taste a big difference.

I suppose it is flower rosin and not water hash rosin!? looks a bit dark for flower rosin, was the plant over ripe? or do you press at high temps? Still looks tasty don't get me wrong. Looks like my hash rosin, my flower rosin generally comes out super blonde.
color is dependent on strain too. Not all types come out super light at the same temperature press at the same freshness. highly variable there.
I could give a shit what color the rosin is as long as it is made from organic, pesticide free cannabis...
