hemp crops already pollinate ALOT of the outdoor in my area....

I've been telling people for years that once the hemp farming starts there stuff is at risk of getting pollinated. The good news is it only happens once a year. Don't think they are going to start growing auto flower hemp any time soon.

Because they don't know how to clone efficiently, they don't have any solid genetics to throw in a field and they are lazy enough to just throw intersexual fiber hemp seed from Europe outdoors.

I am going to be cutting female hemp clones for the summer. People that just throw out random hemp seed don't know what they're doing. Male culling is something that should be observed for sure, and test EVERY strain you plan to use before you throw it in a field because you need to test if it is intersexual or not.

I'm working on stabilized feminized CBD hemp seed myself so we can all get along.

For seed crops. if you are growing just for fiber, you don't need to let them grow out to the point that they flower, so it don't matter if there are any males in the mix.

Hemp growing in CO is a joke. By state certified seed that tests high at the end of august. You can actually clone high cbd strains and run them for oil. That'll net ya about 100k an acre.

I had a spot get pollenated by a hemp field. I'm sick of making butter, hash and whatever else. Pretty soon my goat is gonna be really high for months

Having been away from cannabis for a couple of decades I was surprised to discover that many younger tokers don't know how to deal with seeds. Long ago it was all seeded, other than thai sticks. Here's the old Hippie method from the 60's for anybody who doesn't already know it-

Jeff Sessions: Marijuana Is “Only Slightly Less Awful” Than Heroin
The new Attorney General has pot advocates in Massachusetts on edge.
By Spencer Buell | Boston Daily | March 15, 2017, 12:44 p.m.

jeff-sessions.jpg

Jeff Sessions, the U.S. Attorney General, had some typically harsh words about marijuana today, at a time when legal pot supporters in Massachusetts and elsewhere are on high alert over how the new government will treat the drug.

In prepared remarks for a speech to law enforcement in Richmond today, he outlined his stance on marijuana use, which he has long opposed, saying that “dependency” on it is “only slightly less awful” than heroin.

Jeff Sessions said:
I realize this may be an unfashionable belief in a time of growing tolerance of drug use. But too many lives are at stake to worry about being fashionable. I reject the idea that America will be a better place if marijuana is sold in every corner store. And I am astonished to hear people suggest that we can solve our heroin crisis by legalizing marijuana – so people can trade one life-wrecking dependency for another that’s only slightly less awful. Our nation needs to say clearly once again that using drugs will destroy your life.

To that end, he continued, he said he supports a renewed drug awareness campaign on the “terrible truth about drugs”, like the ones rolled out decades ago.

Jeff Sessions said:
In the ’80s and ’90s, we saw how campaigns stressing prevention brought down drug use and addiction. We can do this again. Educating people and telling them the terrible truth about drugs and addiction will result in better choices. We can reduce the use of drugs, save lives and turn back the surge in crime that inevitably follows in the wake of increased drug abuse.

His full remarks are available here.

^I'm with this guy.

Its too late to be using reefer madness tactics. The studies have been done, the testimonies are out there and the only thing making people think these things is ignorance.

Lyin' Jeff knows his audience.

Cannabis legalization is cause for job security concerns among law enforcement because it's basically half of the WoD. They're also steeped in lies as to the social costs of cannabis & the righteousness of prohibition. That makes them a very receptive audience to Sessions' fact free opinions.

Sessions & the rest will attempt to ignore completely all the data gathered about legalization in CO & WA, simply pretend it doesn't exist. They'll never say anything about it because it doesn't fit their authoritarian fear mongering agenda. They'll also desperately dodge any questions about it & question its veracity if cornered. Prohibition has always been based on "alternative facts" & intent to suppress target groups.

Legalization has been under intense scrutiny from all quarters & huge amounts of data amassed about it wrt public health, crime, domestic violence, DUI, Job Safety- on and on, you name it. None of it supports Sessions' contentions in the slightest. We thrive. We'll never go back.
