I've used the actinovate at 10ml/gal to prevent some damping off on rockwool clones and it seemed to do pretty good. (I think that's a lil bit more than suggested strength but it certainly didn't hurt. Maybe grade up to start?)

I would recommend trying it out for any root rot type issues. I know they are probably different type issues but I ran into it last winter when my veg area was staying very cold all the time. I over watered and the root systems got pissed with them being so cold too. I used the Actinovate and they got better. Ever since then I was sure to keep a little heater in that room and they have been way happier since.

Would that work outdoors? I have an outdoor spot I love but in wet years I lost some girls there to botris I have Bush Doctor by FF it's what I use indoors for teas and soil cooking.

imo more likely than "big cannabis" being to blame; these bills are from law enforcement and prison guard lobbists imo
one of the bills is ALL about money for training police
that being said im sure the dispensaries are happy to see these bills be fast-tracked and pushed thru

i've spent a good amount of time in the last 5 days on the phone with some of the sponsors of these bills trying to work out details and legal avenues for real med patients to continue doing what they have been legally doing - growing their doctor recommended plant count as simply and cost effectively as possible with as much personal oversight and attention to detail as possible

...and I'm sure they are as worried about this as you are.
I saw this coming long ago.
When they pass new garbage, I wont listen to that either.

I read some stories about this on the www.denverpost.com and the law enforcement folks where saying that they had no way to tell if the grow was legal or not and that the grows they where talking about had like at least (around) 200 plants. What have I been paying the state for all of these years for my medical card if I can't have the cops check at any time of day or night and know with in minutes that I'm legal.

I think that there are going to be some legal challenges against this, at least I hope so. I guess that we the people could always start an other ballot measure if we have to...

This isn't moving things forward, this is trying to walk things backwards. Just a bunch of Thugs that dress in nice suits.

I want to take a moment and thank all of you who are taking the fight to the Capital Steps. :tiphat::peacock::thank you:

There are a lot of people like me who just can't get get out to do these kinds of things.
They finally told me that they think i had a mini stroke a couple of days before New Years. I have only been able to get up and down my stairs (although i ain't pretty) for the last few weeks.
I started some seeds last month...having some minor problems getting in there to care for them.
My license is for 24 plants...planted 36 seeds...21 came up. Will wait till next month to sex them. The natural sun seems to bring most plants back to veg while i find many refuse to under artificial light so i try to time my moving them out-doors to this. By the time i get done i only have room for 12-14 plants any-way. But everything i have is tied to one single harvest in the fall.
I honestly think that there should be a 25 plant limit on most home grows, whether they be medical or not, with an ability to extend to 50...maybe even 100 if it is a multi person grow. But the land owner's rights and will need to be protected...so i understand the apartment and rental provisions...but there should be some kind of mediation ability or something to protect the leasee's rights as well.
I am sad to report that i think a couple of the ops here in Pueblo may have been the ones to bring this bill forward...i hope that proves wrong.

really good to hear from you dude!
bill changed from 12 to 16 plants, also they changed first offense from felony to a misdemeanor w less than 1k$ fine - not much of a change really
has one more committee hearing before full house vote i think...

apparently there are ways to designate your property or parts of your property as ag, which would make that space of the property not as defined in the bill as "residence".
county land use office for a variance is another option, i think

fucking bullshit

Can you imagine if they limit the farmers that are growing hemp (not the CBD hemp, just the reg hemp) I think they want you (Us) to grow what is a weed into a pine tree. If this was about cops profiling drivers and pulling them over, there would be a shit fit from people screaming about this.

You know the saying, give a man a fish and he eats for a day, but if you teach him to fish he eats for a life time. why would you let some one who does not know how to fish/ any thing about fishing tell you how you can or can't fish. Can you imagine if you could only grow 16 corn stalks/plants per residence even if you have more then 2 people over 18 living there.

i saw an ad on craigslist recently, someone with a herd of "serveral hundred" horses looking for pasture land to keep them on

who the fuck needs a hundred horses let along several hundred?
plant horse number limits asap LOL

wow, fish. I think it a poor choice to compare. The reason is that whirling disease decimated all the trout waters (East of Cont.Div,) durring the early 80s(late 70s in some). Controlling populations is a VERY needed thing.

16 plants is BS...any word on doc's recommendations yet??? But the state legalized to get tax dollars. Any-one growing more than 50 plants just seems obviously for profit and then should be registered as such for the tax base.
I think they need to reduce the costs of registering and give the craft grower his place to sell a little bit (in my case to cover costs) with staggered tax (fee) levels. This way even the back-yard grower might get in for only a hundred bucks or so. Or register a couple of extra Ounces to take to a processing center or retail outlet while paying the state a fair tax on it.
But i am the crazy dreamer...

And how does this get us fields of industrial hemp as far as we can see???

Doc, really good to hear from you. I've been wondering how you were doing since you last posted about health issues and then ghosted out on the boards for several months. Really glad to hear you're doing better than a couple months back and you're still around :good:

I too with there was some kind of cottage industry bill where regular guys like us could take some extra flowers to a spot and vend them back into the system. Doesn't seem like too much to ask for either and the way we can micro manage our stuff I know it would be leaps and bounds better than anything you see at dispensaries. You could even batch test stuff for mold and bad pesticides, fungicides, etc. so everyone would know they were bunk flowers. :2cents:

Nice to see you again, Corvette Doc.

The only reason that restrictions stronger than the A64 6/3 plant count per person exist is because they've never been challenged in court. The language is unequivocal. One person's Constitutional rights can't be denied by another exercising their own on the same property.

That would make the already legal Ops guys have to step up their game, quality wise that is, or would that then create a gourmet market? I'm sure I "could" still find some "illegally imported" mexi-weed that is better then what the legal guys put out.

Are they next going to start compliance checks where they are going to knock on the doors of all the people who have medical cards from the state and hold you out side at gun point while they turn your place upside down to see if you are over your limit because they have your addy in their database because you registered with them for your medical card as some one with a extended plant count. Sounds like they have turned our medical cards into the gold stars that the Germans made the Jewish people wear.

I think they're trying to put the squeeze on larger caregiver operations. That's a very un-tidy aspect of it all from their perspective. Not enough of the illusion of control. It's also complicated by home rule stuff for munis & counties, as well.

I don't think that even the Hair Furor can inspire some sort of major crackdown by CO authorities other than what there already is from places like Colorado Springs & Golden. It's mostly complaint driven or a way to fuck with people who have other issues with the cops.

I don't think hemp will be seeing a problem at all. My hemp license is under the Colorado Dept of Agriculture..not the fucking MED, not the fucking senate finance committee. Also hemp is technically removed from the cannabis association under a federal congressional law, it is removed from the Controlled Substance Act by definition.

This limiting of plants is going to end up killing people. If this law isn't stopped here it will be stopped at another place. I see class action lawsuits incoming. This is in part big dispensary lobbying to get people to only go to the stores and also law enforcement lobbying. It is not my fault if a cop cannot understand a doctor's written orders, perhaps they should add more reading comprehension training at the local police level..

Maybe we should start planting seeds everywhere, starting with those people who where behind this. Then after the seeds all sprout we then call the cops on them so they end up with getting charged with a felony.... because they had to many plants.

Anybody that didn't see this before & can't see it now is completely blinded by The System.

Tiz the reason I never registered & never will!

Please don't do that. That goes for anybody who is talking about just sowing seeds willy nilly. My kneejerk reaction is to say "That's a dumb idea." I'm sure I share that sentiment with anybody and everybody who would want to grow some plants outside. Can anybody say, "Rogue pollen"? I don't want seeded bud unless it's something I carefully pollenated myself. Pls thanks.

hemp crops already pollinate ALOT of the outdoor in my area....
personally i'd rather have rogue pollen from THC rich varieties waft my way than hemp varieties

also i'd rather see weed growing everywhere in the state than NOT see it

not saying peeps should start seed bombing everywhere, but i'm not saying DON'T....

will never forget as a kid in the south i saw a bunch of short lil ganja plants growing at a car wash, right next to the vacuum.... where everyone dumped the ashtray, blunt guts, and stems and seeds
